#Flirtatious death scene which was originally going to be scrapped

There's something mildly annoying when something feels just the slightest bit off with a scene but you can't quite place WHAT is off or why
-is it the pacing of the scene?
-is it how things are worded? Too descriptive, not descriptive enough, just the slightest bit too junky in some way its throwing things off
-is someone mischaracterized or acting out of character in a way that doesn't make sense
-is it just weird because characters are having feelings of some sort and those are just finicky
-does the scene just feel out of place because of the nearby scenes
-is it just a flat scene
-something ridiculously minor only you the author will notice that doesn't actually make a difference
WHO KNOWS I CERTAINLY DONT RN
#jcrambles#I can think of a few incidents that right off the bat rn of some of these...#Splendy poet death (something feels off about it however I left it as it was anyways)#A scrapped scene from Icelandics pov at one point (idk why but 3rd person or pinks pov interacting with her works fine-#But her pov.....just nope feels off anytime I've tried :'D)#Flirtatious death scene which was originally going to be scrapped#DISCO BIRDY TEA INCIDENT#Wildcard vs feelings half the time (it's a weirdly fine line to make it in character janky and not ooc janky with luck...)#Anywho finicky writing issues atm#I have to see two scenes together and tweak from there somethings the slightest bit to far left

Favourite avengers movies scenes?
So I’m not sure if you mean The Avengers movies proper, or MCU movies in general... so I’ll answer both. ;)
Fav Avengers scenes (in no particular order):
1) Natasha’s first scene in the first Avengers movie. I know everybody on this hellsite hates her now but like... that scene is just brilliant! It shows just how easily Natasha can play people around her, and she’s not afraid to put herself at genuine risk in order to manipulate people. It’s why she’s the master manipulator. She will let herself get captured and beaten up in order to get what she wants from her target just as easily as she’ll let herself don a fancy dress in order to get what she wants from her target.
2) The science bro “saved [my life] for what exactly” “I guess we’ll find out” scene in the first Avengers movie. It’s such a good scene, and really showcases why I love this dynamic so much. Tony acknowledges that Bruce finds himself trapped... there’s something inside of him that he just can’t control. And Tony doesn’t dismiss it. One might almost expect him to be dismissive of Bruce since he earlier so flagrantly pointed out how much he liked Hulk. In the Banner vs Hulk argument going on inside Bruce, he’d already allied himself with Hulk.Except in this moment, he also allied himself 100% with Banner. He tells Bruce that Hulk is only a “monster”, because he just hasn’t learned how to 100% control it... and points out that it’s Bruce’s life that was important enough to save and protect. I just love it.
3) Tony: “Please be a secret door please be a secret doorWall: *is a secret door*Tony: “Yay!”
4) Thor showing up in Wakanda in Infinity War. I cheered. I screamed. I celebrated. It was amazing
5) Gamora’s death and Peter Parker’s death (yes I know I’m cheating and doing a two-in-one here). I was never really a huge fan of Gamora... although she and Nebula are the only GOTG characters I even came close to really liking. But she was written so perfectly in Infinity War, I genuinely loved her death scene and it’s one of my favorites.And... I don’t think I need to tell y’all why I love this one, do I?
6) Steve’s... Wanda-vision I guess? Which honestly? I think it was the moment that I am going to believe started him in such a negative downward spiral that he became... not a character I could like.He comes face to face with the world he knew, with the woman he loved and lost, with the reality that... who he was and what he used to dream about could never happen. I think that scene is why he couldn’t really bring himself to sign the accords. When Tony appealed to his nostalgia he almost gave in, but I think he was just looking for an excuse not to.Because for him... the Avengers was the only compensation he had for losing everything. And he was afraid that if they were operating under the jurisdiction of someone or something else, it would not be what he needed it to be anymore.
Fav MCU-in-general/non-Avengers scenes (also in no particular order):
1) Tony Stark building the Iron Man suit in a cave!!! With a box of scraps!!! What’s not to love about these scenes? RDJ looking hot af with his bulging muscles, the cinematography being absolutely GORGEOUS, the music being perfect, the tension being palpable, and the joy and exuberance when he’s finished exhilarating. (Bonus points for how devastatingly sad their escape ended up being... rip Yinsen)
2) Pepperony dancing in Iron Man 1. MY GOD the sexual tension! There is a reason this ship is such an OTP it practically transcends even the word shipping! These two are perfect in literally every way and I will fight you on that.
3) Tony Stark building a new element in Iron Man 2. It’s like version 2.0 of him building the Mk 1: Bulging muscles? Check! Amazing cinematography? Check! Music? Spot on perfect. Tension? Well... slightly less palpable, but they’ve literally been buillding up that Tony’s dying this whole movie and he finally actually has a chance to save his own life! Exuberance upon completion? Check! The only annoying thing is when Coulson interrupts the montage to be intolerable...
4) Peggy Carter, Steve Rogers, and Howard Stark “do you... fondue” scene. My GOD it was amazing. My son Steve Rogers when he was still my second favorite character in the entire MCU being amazing and awkward, Howard being oblivious to how much he’s just exuding pure flirtatiousness here (haha that’s a lie, he knows exactly what he’s doing to poor Steve), and Peggy WTFing at her idiot guys. I love it.
5) Steggy’s first and last kiss. It’s fine. I’m fine. I don’t need happiness or anything. It’s not like they were perfect together and going to the future ended up just ruining Steve’s personality. It’s not like they deserved to be happy together. (Bonus points to their final conversation. THEY DESERVED THAT DANCE DAMMIT!!! I will never forgive the Russo’s for not making the scene where Steve visits old!Peggy longer and have it end with him gently picking her up in his arms and sway-dancing with her. THEY DESERVED IT!!! WE DESERVED IT!!!)
6) The entirety of Iron Man 3. I’m sorry but I cannot pick out one single scene from that movie that’s my favorite. That movie is massively underrated, simply because comic nerds were annoyed that it wasn’t predictable like literally every other movie has been (and were annoyed by the narrative basically telling them to stop being racist little fucks).Bonus: the Iron Man 3 post credits scene. For some reason people have sorta been hating on Bruce for that scene lately. I genuinely don’t get why! Like... that scene wasn’t about Bruce not caring about Tony! That scene was about how Bruce cares about and is so comfortable around Tony that he can relax around him. He can fall asleep around him. And Tony? Tony didn’t actually care. If he did he wouldn’t have immediately started another story about his “original trauma” immediately after their little snark fest.
7) Scott being toddler-sized in Ant-Man and the Wasp. That was just pure hilarity through and through. I loved every second of it.
8) JANET VAN DYNE!!! I’m sorry, but Jan is my literal favorite. Tony is (obviously) my favorite MCU character, but if I’m being perfectly honest with myself he’s probably my second favorite Marvel character... second only to Jan. She is amazing and badass and perfect and the fact that MICHELLE ACTUAL-GODDESS PFIEFFER PLAYS HER somehow makes her even better. Can the third movie in the Bug Trilogy be all about her? I just need more Jan. I don’t care if it’s a movie about Jan and Hank, or a movie about Jan and Scott, or a movie about Jan and Hope. I just want as much Jan as physically possible. I know that that isn’t a scene that’s a character but... I’M SORRY IF A SCENE HAS JAN IN IT IT’S AUTOMATICALLY ONE OF THE TOP BEST SCENES IN ANY MOVIE EVER I’M SORRY I DON’T MAKE THE RULES.
9) Basically any scene with Okoye. Honestly, Danai Gurira surprised the FUCK outta me with her talent. All I knew was that she was in The Walking Dead (which I’ve admittedly not scene) and so dismissed her as probably not being super talented because... well have you heard the reputation that show has gotten?Anyway... her performance continually impresses me, and she’s absolutely amazing! But my favorite scene specifically was the scene... I think it was between Nakia and Okoye (I’ve only watched that movie once... I KNOW I’M AWFUL) after T’Challa dies and Okoye basically says she can’t go against Erik because she is loyal to the THRONE of Wakanda, even if her heart is loyal to other people.
And I was GOING to do top 5 Avengers moments and top 10 non Avengers moments, but since I did 6 Avengers moments (plus a cheat), I’ll stop at 9 for non-Avengers moments.
And hey... while we’re at it:
Send me asks about anything you want my opinion on

hehe...Rambling imminent then! /silly
(And under cut cause spoilers to anyone who hasnt read it :3)
Splendorpoet's....well the everything with the pair of scenes for them with Author and the aftermath weren't planned to happen at all! They were a spur of inspiration to (at first) replace another segment!
Author's death was mearly going to be implied as background casualty along with Splendorpoet who was supposed to be dealt with off screen :3
Flirtatious death was supposed to be scrapped and mearly implied off screen (Pandora got to see it early because of this :3) HOWEVER it ended up fitting in after I rearranged some scenes
Discourse and Splendorpoet's deaths were swapped :3 (And its implied but Flirtatious and Discourse were married! (cause shiny ring privilege /silly)
It's not outright stated but the rest of the poets and the absurdly talls can be assumed to have been additional collateral off screen!
Wildcard was supposed to originally live on till the final massacre, but after the addition of Splendorpoets death..........it worked better that they would be removed from the plot sooner (They also were functionally a liability for causing plotholes otherwise, Finding workarounds with Clementine vs Icelandic was difficult enough ^-^)
Certain things only happened because of lore that has happened on the blogs (or been mentioned in rambled in the slendlr discord (or directly with fren!)) like the butter tarts and Wildcard and Splendorpoet dancing during the wedding scene, this also applies for the nest cuddle scene! (Which is actual lore that applies now for the blogs as well <3)
It was.....very hard to write the scene were Pink was supposed to yell at Icelandic (...I can't really see em yelling at her under most circumstances :' D) But the massacre was the hardest to write because it hurt more ^-^ (Tho...Wildcard's letter and the aftermath for Splendorpoet were also hard :' D)
Andddddd the outline for funsies :3
The grass is greener. Zeta timeline short story
Dahlia's case was broken later on, magic used to cut off Pink's link to it. Others killed as collateral.
Scenes:
Pink, midst the ruins. Implied pov but short.
Atmosphere, the ruined state of things. Dust and dirt, solitude, rubble, nothing left. Wishing things could be different. Wondering were ey went wrong as ey wander a path only ey know.
Pink and Icelandic's wedding. Pink, close friends and family. The reception.
It was supposed to be a small event, but with Wildcard there it had…been a bit rambunctious. But a happy occasion with eir now wife. Things had started wrapping up when ey found a letter….
One that made eir blood run cold.
A letter from him.
Pink worries over the letter the following weeks, unsure what to do. Wildcard attempts to find out what it's about and be reassuring…she still sucks at it. If anything does come of it, they'll figure it out, for now Be happy with eir Wife instead.
Maybe things will be fine….the letter might not be anything….a joke, something to stress them…nothing more.
Someone's watching.
Sugartwist seemed like an accident. Having been attacked on his way to visit Dahlia. (Snippet of Sugartwists pov before switching to aftermath)
4.5. Aftermath. Dahlia was swept away to be incased in glass soon after. Not dead but feeling like another loss as well.
Pink swears ey keep seeing….something, a shadow of someone that's never there, it starts to weigh on eir nerves a bit. Whispers, flickers.
Ey've been sleeping less since the letter, eir partners worrying for them. Nest cuddle pile and reassurance they all have each other's support if there is anything, it will be ok together.
So…Pink sleeps, feeling finally secure after weeks of worrying needling eir mind.
If only that were true.
Another accident. So it seemed…..a crime gone wrong for the rest of the suits. Dead or assumed dead. Wildcard had been the only one that hadn't gone with.
It was supposed to be iron glad. They had been certain they'd be fine without him.
Wildcard broke at the loss of her siblings.
Break into 2 possibly
6.5. It pained Pink, watching eir partner break. Wildcard almost never left Pink, Icelandic or Splendorpoet's side. Always with one of them as they planned another funeral. Pink worries once more about that letter…is this all just a coincidence? Or is it his doing….
check the letter at last
Flirtatious death. It goes to Discourse. Burned alive and unable to regenerate. Magic is stopping it. They have a letter with them.
Sobbing and in pain, hardly able to move or breath, they keep going, dragging themselves to their partners home. Thry didn't have a choice but to listen. They need to get to them…
They barely manage to get to the door banging on it as it cries collapsing. It's too much.
Discourse goes to confront Pink about the letter. Still reeling from Flirtatious death. Screaming and crying at them for answers. Hiding the grief with anger. Pink breaks down, horrified this is happening….why, why now? It can't be passed as a coincidence any longer…the deaths have been planned.
Past. The change of choice, mercy over vengeance. Pink giving Clementine mercy instead of killing him out of what love they had left for him.
You'll regret this choice. You're mine. Don't forget. LEAVE.
Pink apologized to Discourse, blaming all this on emselves after explaining the past with Clementine. Discourse, Too riled up to stay, lost to their grief….decided to handle things themselves…leaving despite Pink and eir Partner's thinking it unwise for them to go off on their rn…..that was the last they saw them alive.
10.5. Pov of Discourse's planning, grief, anger, plans to go after Clementine. Their own undoing.
Pink barely slept anymore, plagued with nightmares, glimpses of shadows and Whispers. Reminders of those already lost.. Nothing Icelandic could do helped. Discourse was gone….one by one Clementine manged to pick off others. Each new death weighing on Pink's heart
and Mind. And Wildcard they…..they couldn't take it.
No one was safe it seemed.
Another letter, another show of how powerless ey are to what's happening……one of Splendorpoet's bells. A sick show of who it was. (Swap it Splendorpoet, the news break. Mayhaps flirtatious scene….tbd and receiving a mic tendril instead)
They had been trying everything they could to find Clementine, to stop him…to be prepared, to predict who he'd go for next….no matter what it was in vain. It felt like they were fighting a ghost more then a person.
Pink fears for eir partner and children. Pleading they run, they leave em behind, save themselves from harm. Maybe if they leave…Clementine won't harm them. They
refuse to leave Pink, promising it'll be alright….they'll figure something out.
….it had been a massacre. The children, Icelandic. They'd tried to fight Clementine. More a shadow then a being. Everywhere and no where. Pink was injured but…….only Icelandic was still breathing….barely, in eir arms. The last person they had to protect. Clementine shadows laugh and taunt as they yell, crying and screaming as the beg Icelandic to hold on just a little longer. She says goodbye is not forever. Orkidea.
Pink screams in rage and grief. Laughter echoing in the shadows.
Nothing stops Pink, near feral as they take anything and anyone in eir way down, grief and rage a molotov cocktail as ey
hunt down Clementine. Things being left in ruin, massacred. As Clementines shadows suffocate Pink, whispering to em how everything is eir fault. How ey belong to HIM. An eye for an eye, betrayal for betrayal.
Blaming them even as ey finally take him out. Years of fighting, years of destruction. Pink feels ey lost part of themself in the process, mind lost to the haze of rage and instincts for so long.
But by then…it's too late. Nothings left for it.
Pink continues on its walk, silent tears run, ey're not sure how they have any left. Stepping onto the grass ey make eir way to the makeshift headstones. Flowers lovingly cared for to wrap around the
Graves. A single oasis of life left in the desolate world.
A reminder of all ey lost.
…..ey wish things could have been different.
your fanfiction is making me insane. /pos/pos/pos/pos/pos
