Fjord/Jester

Jester gets nightmares about Cognoza a lot, Marion gives Fjord the secret Jester cure for calming her down after a nightmare. She teaches him one of her lullabies. Fjord holds Jester close and singing the song after every nightmare.

To match Jester's horn jewelry, Fjord gets his ear pierced and they have a matching earring.

Artagan keeps a close eye on Fjord during their first months at sea. Sometimes Fjord just finds Sprinkle glaring at him.

Essek/Caleb

Before they venture into Aeor again, Essek knits Caleb a hat, remembering how cold the human was last time. Caleb never takes it off.

Do to his drow nature and being out of sunlight for so long, Essek is so incredibly vulnerable to sunshine. Thus when they're on the Nein Heroz, Caleb always carries sunscreen and aloe vera with him.

Beau/Yasha

Yasha does Beau's hair in complicated braids sometimes. Without having to explain, Beau knows that they're from her tribe, probably something she used to do for Zuala. She always makes sure to compliment them thoroughly.

When Yasha starts her garden, Beau comes home with books and notes about different Empire flowers and plants for her to read.

At some point on her way home from the Soul, Beau finds the fluffiest little puppy. Of course she takes it home and Yasha adores it immediately.

Brenattos

Yeza deals with a lot of anxiety over the situation with de Rogna and being kidnapped. It always makes it better to have Veth beside him when he goes to the market because he knows that she'll fuck up anyone who tries to hurt him.

Veth starts her collections again, she has dozens and dozens of jars of things. Her favorite ones though, are the jars that Luc has in his room, his own collections just like his mom.

Caduceus

Every few months, he sends all of the Mighty Nein a new blend of tea just for them. He spends a long time making them the perfect blend for their tastes and what they need.

Caduceus gives all of his adventuring gear to his siblings, they start to travel more and bring home wonderful stories about the things they see, he always has a cup of tea waiting for them.

I love replaying C2 episodes just so I can watch the whole top table (i.e. Fjord/Beau/Caleb AND Travis/Marisha/Liam) slowly get smitten by the little blue tiefling. As they should.

The trio worrying about Jester post-kidnapping as she dances in the middle of the tavern by herself, sans music. (2x30)

Them melting into a puddle of goo when Jester announced her arrival at the Ruby of the Sea's home by calling herself the "Little Sapphire". (2x33)

Jester telling her story about the craziest thing she's ever seen a.k.a. the bug story. (2x38)

When The Gentleman finally admits to his past with Marion, and when he and Jester share a tearful conversation about him being her father but not really. (2x85)

The alarm on their faces when The Traveler told Jester that he would take her with him (to realms and planes far far away) if he was ever to leave. (2x95)

A Decade Gone By Tease

Summary: Due to an incoming storm, Percival and Vex'ahlia De Rolo end up celebrating a decade of marriage in Nicodranas at the Lavish. They run into some friendly faces.

It's basically just an excuse for Perc'ahlia smut. It's a more modern AU because (on a personal note) I use a wheelchair daily, it was easier for me to write the dynamics of that in the bedroom than a cane. And my husband likes to kiss the scar on my shoulder, so I figure why not have Vex smooch Percy's Slayer's Take brand on his arm that he has for this AU

Caleb uses transmutation magic to spay/neuter the Rexxentrum cats because as much as he'd like to he can't take them all in and no cat should be born on the streets :c

I think at one point after a long discussion, Essek gets Transmorgified into some other kind of elf, or at least a very different looking drow, because the risks if he's found out are way too high. Sometime before Caleb dies they change him back. Veth is there for the first casting, given Essek helped develop this spell that got her body back and is now giving him a little more freedom to live his life, too.

As for hopes for the twoshot...

I hope it's at least two years in the future, if not happening roughly when C3 is - to allow time for the Nein to be settled into their post-canon lives and healed a bit.

SOMEONE either expecting a kid or adopting one. Laura dropped the 'Vex is pregnant' bomb during Search for Bob so I wouldn't be surprised if she pulled something similar here, but could be someone else's turn. Veth included! Veth having another kid on the way would actually be a riot holy shit

Luc update! I want to know about his magic lessons and his crossbow usage.

Anything about the Apogee Solstice - does anyone in the Nein know about it? Do the entities they're connected to have an interest? Thinking mainly Ludinus Da'leth, Uk'otoa, Artagan, hell Essek might have thoughts on it.

A very very minor thing, but if there's any Assembly lore tied to Delilah I'll go feral. Caleb. Caleb pull through for me. Gimme the deets on academic scandals.

This goes without saying, but I wanna say it anyways: I want the cast to have fun. I get so much enjoyment from seeing them have a riot - this is fundamentally their game and their characters and their story. My wants mean little to theirs - I hope they get everything they want out of it even if it’s not what the fandom wants and clearly have a blast.
