So this is a little late but my brain went a tad insane with options 4 and 5 so I hope you don’t mind if I merge them-

what if Kira grew up similarly to canon. A perfectly average boy, never doing much of note and rarely standing out. But he was fine with that because he just wants a nice, quiet life out of the spotlight

and what if he knows his dad was a bit….. off. Nothing concrete, just that something about him was never quite right

But then Kira accidentally walks in on his dad “taking care of” a body with his Stand. Specifically, what if it was Reimi’s body

so now Kira has the added stress of dealing with the fact his father is apparently magic, but also appears to be using that magic to kill people. Not great all things considered. And things get even worse when his father doesn’t even hide the fact he kills people from his son

and Kira’s……. Kinda stuck. What if his father still loves him like in canon, but this time that complete and utter devotion is absolutely terrifying because Kira feels like a single place out of line, a single mistake is going to set his father off and get him killed too. Plus, there’s the whole magic side of things which Kira can’t see and only barely understands

and then when Yoshihiro finally dies, for a brief moment Kira’s overjoyed that he’ll finally he free from this terrifying dark secret…….. but no, the man uses his Stand to stick around for even longer. At the very least now he can be contained, but Kira can’t bring himself to kill him. After all he’s his father and honestly killing someone, becoming even an inch more like his father is absolutely terrifying to him

So Kira’s desire to be unnoticed now has a more depressing side to it because he’s trying to keep his father secret. Naturally said father isn’t very happy about being kept trapped for years, and what if his escape is what sparks Part 4. At this point most of the love to Kira has either died out or been twisted in a way of “you’re not my son, my son would never do this!” so on the way out he shoots him with the arrow because there’s no way he’d have the fighting spirit to survive, right?

Surprisingly, the desire to keep a town safe from a murderer and sacrificing any chance at a social life or deep, long term bonds with anyone else is pretty good grounds for some fighting spirit

So the “disappearances” start back up, only this time there’s the added chaos of Yoshihiro shooting people with the arrow and setting a bunch of Stand Users loose, and via some Wrong Place Wrong Time, Kira ends up being suspect and is trying to just escape. On the plus side he’d likely use less lethal means to escape

Help Writing Fanfic Please.

So like I wanna write something about Kira living/ surviving part 4 that would make sense. Like there’s still the whole murder thing happening in town.

Things I could do but…

Make Kira win. But I don’t wanna kill everyone.

Kira gets arrested. But Reimi won’t be able to truly pass on as a ghost.

Make him not the killer. But I want him to pretend to be Hayato’s dad.

Completely rewrite Kira’s character so that he doesn’t kill people but then again Ghost Reimi wouldn’t exist.

Write the Kira doesn’t actually kill people but it was his father that’s been doing the killing and while the duwang gang been chasing Kira due to a misunderstanding, he uses his stand in self defense. But I suck at writing and will need ideas to have this make sense!
