Comments: Purchased as a mate for Thalden. Together they'll have fairly wide almost matched secondary and tertiary ranges, including greens, yellows, oranges, and browns, which with their brown primaries mean a lot of their offspring will be assorted varieties of tree dragons (mainly regular and autumnal), and some that are just random.

Aera is a 5 year old triple eldritch, was originally a snapper, and is the first of, I hope, a set of fandragons based on TES's daedric princes

Liche is 6, blackberry/mist/obsidian, and I just *love* the repeating elements in her look. The same pink being used at the edge of the wings and along the flaunt border + feet, the black stripes of noxtide matching the fishbone and fault pattern, arcane glowing eyes having the same shade of purple as the inner part of noxtide... Perfect ^_^

Skyrm is a 5 year old triple seafoam, and the latest in a very-far-on-the-backburner project to get a permababy of every breed type

pre-movie verse | ages 16-20. this verse takes place before ariel leaves for the surface world & before alana discovers ursula’s lair. she has realized her magical prowess at this point, but has kept it a secret from her family.

alternate verse | age 22+, instead of misusing her black sea magic to attack atlantica, alana takes on a human form to set off on land in search of a new start. she still practices witchcraft & must re-hydrate often, but tries to pass as a normal human girl. she’s also abandoned her duties to the kingdom of marmara.

Also also, Hans Christian Andersen's The Little Mermaid is a thinly-veiled metaphor for his own homosexuality. His staunch Christian faith meant he could never express those feelings (the removed tongue), he could never approach his Prince without pain (the fishbone feet), and that he felt permanently cursed by God and soulless because he could never rid himself of his secret longing (in the narrative, all mermaids were soulless and melted into nothing but seafoam when they died). He was basically miserable his entire life because he believed his God told him he had to be. And that's the real tragedy of The Little Mermaid.
