Sandeep Marwah Appreciated for Eight Years of Service to Guatemala
New Delhi – The Indo-Guatemala Film and Cultural Forum, established in 2016, celebrated its eighth anniversary with a special ceremony at the Embassy of Guatemala in New Delhi. The event recognized the Forum’s significant contributions to promoting Guatemalan art and culture in India, with Dr. Sandeep Marwah, President of the International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry (ICMEI), receiving a certificate of appreciation from H.E. Mr. Omar Castañeda Solares, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Guatemala to India.
The Indo-Guatemala Cultural Forum was inaugurated with great pomp and show at Marwah Studios in Noida Film City by H.E. George de La Roche Du Ronzet, then Ambassador of Guatemala to India, and renowned Indian film producer Boney Kapoor. This historic event marked the establishment of the first cultural organization dedicated to promoting Guatemalan art in India.
“Since its inception, we have put a lot of energy into building a very strong relationship between the two countries,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah. “Indo-Guatemala has been a part of every major international event we organize, including the Global Film Festival Noida, Global Festival of Journalism Noida, Global Literary Festival Noida, Global Fashion and Design Week Noida, International Festival of Cellphone Cinema, and the International Documentary Film Festival.”
Guatemala has actively participated in all international conventions organized by ICMEI, further strengthening the cultural ties between the two nations. The Festival of Films from Guatemala, a highlight event, has been a resounding success, showcasing the rich cinematic heritage of Guatemala.
During the ceremony, Ambassador Omar Castañeda Solares presented Dr. Sandeep Marwah with a certificate of appreciation, acknowledging his untiring efforts to promote Guatemalan culture in India. “I am more than happy to present this appreciation certificate to Dr. Sandeep Marwah. We wish him a very bright future,” said Ambassador Solares.
The event also saw the presence of Rajiv Mathur, Director of ICMEI, and Luis David Vargas Mendez, Minister Counsellor, who joined in celebrating this milestone.

AAFT School of Hospitality and Tourism Celebrates International Cuisine from Slovenia, Peru, and Namibia at 8th Global Fashion Week
Noida, India – The second day of the 8th Global Fashion and Design Week at Marwah Studios was marked by a spectacular showcase of international cuisine from Slovenia, Peru, and Namibia. The event, which took place during the first session of the day, was inaugurated by a distinguished panel of ambassadors: H.E. Mateja Vodeb Ghosh (Ambassador of Slovenia), H.E. AAFT Showcases Korean, Iranian, and Japanese Cuisine at 8th Global Fashion Week
Noida: – The 8th Global Fashion and Design Week celebrated a unique fusion of fashion and culinary arts with its Food Festival, held in association with the Indo Iran Film and Cultural Forum, Indo DPR Korea Film and Cultural Forum, and Indo Japan Film and Cultural Forum of the International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry. Global Fashion Week Noida 2023 Full of Enthusiasm at Marwah Studios
Noida’s Marwah Studios was buzzing with excitement as the Global Fashion Week Noida 2023 kicked off in style created by AAFT School of Fashion & Design. The first day of the event saw an array of designers influenced from different countries showcasing their creativity and flair on the runway. Azerbaijan, Ghana, Gambia, Bahamas, Paraguay, Cyprus, and Hungary all participated in the event, presenting their unique takes on fashion.
The event was made possible thanks to the support of the Indo-Hungary Film and Cultural Forum, Indo Azerbaijan, Indo-Cyprus, Indo-Paraguay, Indo-Bahamas, Indo-Gambia, and Indo-Ghana Film and Cultural Forums of ICMEI- International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry. Sandeep Marwah, the founder of Marwah Studios & President of ICMEI emphasized how art and culture play an essential role in strengthening international relations.

Great Grand Opening of 7th Global Fashion and Design Week at AAFT

Global Fashion And Design Week Noida Created History
Noida: “Never before any fashion and design school has taken so much of efforts to bring industry and education on the same platform to such a magnificent scale. we have created a history and a wonderful beginning in fashion and design world,” said Sandeep Marwah President AAFT School of Fashion And Design.
More than 40 countries participation, 100 different organizations of different fields including fashion, textile, furniture, jewelry, yoga, spiritual, health, modeling, beauty, makeup, educational institutions and media were the part and parcel of the show. Painting exhibition, furniture exhibition, textile exhibition and jewelry exhibition all were inaugurated by the important dignities present at the show. Well-prepared fashion shows by the AAFT School of Fashion And Design brought many accolades to the fashion week. John Uche Jesus, Dr. Kusum Chopra, Prasoon Dewan, Rahul Anand, Bharti Taneja, Iishika Taneja, Anushka Lal, shared their experiences through seminar on how to bridge the gap between education and industry. Renowned exporters Rajat Jain of Pooja International and Nishith Sadh of Fancy Fashions, along with filmmakers from Los Angles Mike Berry, from UK Amita Shankar and from Mumbai Ashok Tyagi had a brain storming session on Film and Fashion moderated by Sandeep Marwah and followed by question answers. Powerful workshop by young and known fashion designer Niket Mishra attracted many delegates to understand Start Up concept of Government of India in fashion and design industry. Renowned architect Harish Tripathi, fashion designer Rochika Agarwal and jewelry designer Sharmila Katrey had another panel discussion on ‘sustainable designing is a token of brand identity’. Social issues were not forgotten and GFDWN in association with International Children’s Film Forum picked up this time a sensitive subject of child kidnapping under the guidance of Dr. Vandana Gulia of an organization called ‘No More Missing’ anchored by Sushil Bharti and supported by ICFF director Madhavi Advani discussed at length with huge participation bt the delegates. Ritu Lal the director of the show supervised all the events and said that fashion week has brought new energy to the trade and turned out to be a learning experience for all of us. The evenings were full of fashion shows of different kinds.

5th Global Fashion Week Inaugurated with Great Pomp and Show

We are proud to announce that ICMEI together with AAFT School of Fashion and Design are going to present 700 garments designed by 200 designers influenced by the culture of 52 different countries of the World in 90 rounds showcased in 8 shows in three days. This is one of the biggest collections we are displaying here after pandemic,” said Sandeep Marwah President of International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry on the inauguration of 5th Global Fashion and Design Week Noida 2021.
“Sandeep Marwah is the biggest show man be it a cinema, journalism, literature or Fashion and design. He is the real cultural ambassador. I am happy that Montenegro is also part of this great festival. The creativity which I have seen here is no less than any international beauty pageant. Sixteen rounds were presented in the first major inaugural show. The audience was astonished to see the colorful collection by young designers. Every garment was so exclusive and extra ordinary prepared well fitted to the professional models from fashion fraternity.
The first show were presented by designers Ruchi Aggrawal influenced by the flora and fauna of Ghana, Shayna from Montenegro, Mukesh Kumar also from Montenegro, Saniya Gupta selected Israel , Ayushi Sharma opted Lebanon, Akshay Raj Ratan finalized for Bosnia and Herzegovina, Shefali Srivatava also looked for Bosnia and Herzegovina, Rishav Kumar Ram preferred United Kingdom, Satyam Raj & Rahul Vdhara only thought of Afghanistan, Dilshad designed for Uzbekistan, Anamika thought of Rwanda, Pushpendra designed for Fiji, Ayushi Mehrotra was allotted Bulgaria, Mansi Saluja managed well with Gambia, Neha Shishodia influenced by Maldives and Swastika Talwar also looked for Israel.

Indo Morocco Film And Cultural Forum Formed at 3rd GFDWN
Noida: the Ambassador of Morocco to India recently launched Indo Morocco Film And Cultural Forum during the second day of 3rd Global Fashion And Design Week Noida 2019 in the presence of national and international people from entertainment, fashion and design fraternity.
“We are privileged to have with us the Ambassador of Morocco to India H.E. Mohamed Maliki to inaugurate the committee on Morocco under the name of Indo Morocco Film And Cultural Forum. The association will work on the development and promotion of Indian and Moroccan relations through art and culture,” informed Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry.
“This is the best time to launch an organization of that standard when the whole world is participating in 3rd Global Fashion And Design Week. My purpose is solved on the very first day to tell people that India and Morocco both have a very cordial and strong relationship,” said H.E. Mohamed Maliki Ambassador of Morocco to India.
The Ambassador of Morocco nominated Dr. Sandeep Marwah as the Chair for the forum, and Dr. Sandeep Marwah presented Patronship of the forum to the Ambassador of Morocco. ICMEI handed over MoU to the embassy for further action.

Many Countries Appreciated 3rd Global Fashion And Design Week
Noida: Huge turnout added a lot to the 3rd Global Festival of Fashion And Design Week on the first day itself. We are now confident that 3rd GFDWN is going to create international records. Participation of 50 countries is a quite a job for the fashion week,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of the festival.
“Indo Gabon Film And Cultural Forum always look for an opportunity to be part of these kind of great celebrations to develop and promote relation with India. It is amazing that Indian designers are projecting Gabon in GFDWN 2019,” said H.E. Desire Koumba Ambassador of Gabon to India inaugurating the third session of the first day.
The program started with the Dance recital designed by renowned classical dancer Jyoti Srivastava. Followed by presentation of Life Time Achievement Award to Rajinder Kumar Bhatia a known filmmaker.
“I am happy that AAFT has been educating and training students in the perfect manner where skill development has been emphasized enough. This is the right way to promote designers through fashion shows and exhibitions,” said Dr. Madhukar Gupta IAS Additional Secretary, Ministry of Public Enterprises and Heavy Industries, Government of India.
Indo Uzbekistan Film And Cultural Forum under Dr. Sandeep Marwah’s leadership taking great interest in promoting Indo Uzbekistan relations,” added Fekhruz Urazov Press & cultural Secretary, Embassy of Uzbekistan.
The show was presented by Aashi Parashar on her research on Egypt, Indu Yadav & Moni Bano on Gambia, July on Serbia, ,Sakshi Sharma & Sakshi on Israel, Mohd Nabeel Ansari showcased garments influenced from Romania, Anjali Singh projected India, Aastha Jaiswal on Iran, Anjali Kumar showcased garments and designed induced by the culture of Uzbekistan, and Lovleen Anand had a wonderful parade of dresses from Gabon.
Two research projects from Gabon and Uzbekistan were presented to the dignities. Later Dr. Marwah presented the memento of the fashion week to the dignities as a mark of respect.

Fashion Took Birth at 3rd Global Fashion And Design Week
Noida: The second session on the first day of 3rd Global Fashion And Design Week Noida 2019 saw new range of garments influenced by some more countries of the World.
AAFT School of Fashion And Design in association with ICMEI-International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry want to reach largest number of exporters and garment dealers in different countries so that they can appreciate the hard work of young and new designers. I am thankful to Embassies and diplomats to add on a lot to the show, ”initiated Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of ICMEI and Asian Education Group.
AAFT and ICMEI together again created a wonderful record by bringing 200 designers under one roof including 750 garments, 57 furniture, jewelry and textile too,” said renowned filmmaker from Hollywood Mike Berry inaugurating the session.
“Every time I am attending Global and Fashion Week I found it has grown much bigger in its strength and quality,” said Jewelry Designer Prasoon Dewan appreciating the grandeur of the show. Ishan Kailani CEO Digital Marketing, designer Rashmi Chabra and Entrepreneur Garvita were also part of the session.
Shalini Kirti researched and worked to prepare range of garments from Slovenia, Lokendra Kumar Maurya from Maldives, Shivani Solanki from Wales, Anushka Upadhyay & Nishi Pal from Vietnam, Itika Jain from Egypt, Nishant Sharma & Trisha Singh from Hungary, Riya Jhinkwan from Iran, Vidit Jain from Fiji, Manisha Rawat for Malaysia and Pragya Prajapati & Subhashree Debata followed the trends from Bahamas.
After releasing news letter of the day, a coffee table book ‘Bazars of India’, prepared by Aastha Mittal was released by the dignities. Prof Ritulal proposed vote of thanks and Albeena Abbas conducted the program.

Great Grand Opening of 3rd Global Fashion And Design Week
Noida: Enthusiasm, Zest and excitement could be seen with colorful decoration at Noida Film City inviting fashion and design lovers to one of the biggest extravaganza of fashion and design at Marwah Studios.
The international flags and their colors, stalls, decorated entrances are enough to recognize the strength of this fashion carnival designed by International Film And Television club in association with AAFT School of Fashion And Design supported by ICMEI-International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry. The third festival has grown bigger with 750 dresses, 200 designers, 85 models, 8 exhibitions, 9 seminars, 49 countries, 85 rounds in 9 fashion shows,” informed Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of Asian Education Group.
“What a grand show, what a display, what a presentation. Never seen such an interesting gala fashion show. These kind of cultural events bring unity into the people of many countries,” said H.E. Michael A.A. Oquaye High Commissioner of Ghana to India at the inauguration of 3rd Global Fashion And Design Week Noida 2019.
“I am amazed to note that a unique display of dresses by Azerbaijan are the part and parcel of this fashion week. It has raised the level of our friendship,” added H.E. Ashraf Shikhaliyev Ambassador of Azerbaijan to India while lighting the ceremonial lamp.
“I am honored to the part of this spectacular fashion and design week. A lot has been done to project so many countries at the same time,” said Dr. Abdelrazeg Abu Jazer Counsellor Embassy of State of Palestine.
Renowned designers like Parantap Shekhar, Vikas Kumar, Simran Kaur Malhotra shared their vast experience of the industry to who’s who of fashion and design industry present there along with the design students from all over India and abroad.
Dignities released the design directory of passing out students of degree and diploma students of AAFT Fashion and Design School. A coffee table book prepared by Ruchica Bhardwaj was also released.
The event was followed by a grand fashion show of dresses inspired by the international committees at School. Designers like Pooja Rani showcased the design range of garments from Poland, Priya Sharma of Serbia, Dipti Tripathi of Azerbaijan, Runita Malhotra from Cyprus, Shivi Agarwal of Slovenia, Divya Gautam of Senegal, Jyoti Ranjan & Keertika Pant of Lebanon, Maithli Oberoi & Simran Suri of Lesotho, Nikhil Kumar from Hungary and Rashika Mushra & Surbhi Khandelwal range of clothes were influenced by Ghana. The festival was arranged under the leadership of Ritu Lal festival director.
Earlier an exhibition of group paintings titled “Collection” was inaugurated by the guest of the day. The first day also saw the flag off ceremony of cycle ride by Himanshu Kumar a record holder of Cyclothon propagating Love Peace And Unity Through Art And Culture.

2nd Global Fashion And Design Week Noida Started With New Energy
Noida: The 2nd Global Fashion And Design Week Noida 2018 today started its national and international activities with full new energy to create a wonderful position for the festival in international market. Last week festival started with the curtain raiser when 54 delegates from 24 countries of the World participated in Global Summit on ‘Skill Development in Fashion And Design Industry’ in association with Ministry of External Affairs and Ministry of Skill Development And Entrepreneurship. “We are different from other fashion weeks as we have added a very important segment of Design to the fashion week. Design is a wider term and it includes garments, furniture, jewelry, interior designing, cars, buildings etc. and has become now part of every industry on this earth,” introduced Sandeep Marwah President of 2nd GFDW-2018. President PHD Chamber of Commerce And Industry Anil Khaitan along with former Haryana Minister Krishna Murti Hudda, International Marketing Manager at The Handicrafts and Handlooms Exports corporation of India Limited K.C.Shakdwepee, Jwelery Designer Abhishek Tiwari, Film personality Pradeep Kukerja, a renowned acchitect Aashish Sharma, Mrs IndiaUniverse-Style Icon Babita Choudhury inaugurated the first Session. Every one expressed their definition of fashion and design and shared their experience of the industry.Later Sandeep Marwah presented al the delegates with memento of 2ndGFDWN 2018 and Ritu Lal paid vote of thanks. The formal function followed by a grand fashion show by the students of AAFT School of Fashion And Design. The 3 day fashion and design week showcased Painting, furniture and jewelry exhibitions. There were workshops, seminars, interactions, screening of films, fashion shows and entertainment programs. The delegates from all over India and abroad have registered them for the shows. 160 designers participated with around 700 dresses presented in 9 major shows in 63 segments. The festival director Ritu Lal said, ”We are very keen in developing and promoting young talent of this country. Many new designers have taken keen interest in the show”. Indo Montenegro Cultural Forum Launched at Global Fashion And Design Week
Noida: “What an impressive and international platform has been given for the launching of first ever Indo Montenegro Art And Cultural Forum when the whole World is participating in this festival and celebrating culture,” said H.E. Janice Darbari the Consul General of Montenegro to India at the inauguration of IMACF during the First Global Fashion And Design Week Noida at Noida Film City. “There is a need to develop and promote relations between the two countries India and Montenegro and art and culture is the best way to barge into the system,” said Sandeep Marwah President International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry inviting H.E. Janice Darbari to unveil the forum. ICMEI will present the charter to the consulate mentioning the details about the next program lined up for this year. Secretary General Ashok Tyagi paid vote of thanks for initiating the formation of forum. H.E. Janice Darbari honored and nominated Sandeep Marwah President ICMEI as the Chairperson of the organization. On the other hand Sandeep Marwah presented the patron ship to H.E. Janice Darbari. The gesture was appreciated by the people of films, television, media, fashion, art and culture present there.
