Had to make this one around the time while doing another job, just now got around to posting it a week into the event. hahaha

This has as much to almost all the info for events, free stuff, earnable stuff and buyable thingies. Do note, the Priceless Heart has 3 phases, but I do not know when the next one is.

i was dissatisfied with scintiila’s true form so i made my own. i based him around “a summer twilight sky filled with fireworks.”

[image 1 id: a sketchy redesign of scintilla from infinity nikki. he has been drawn to look more like the other faewish sprites. his skin is now dark purple with golden spark freckles and his hair is bright red. he now wears an asymmetric dark blue veil to match his off-kilter sparkler halo. he has a layered short cloak with a lavender ruffle ontop of a pink cloak with star cutouts. holding the cloak together is a red gem. covering his puffy onesie is a transparent flowy gown that trails off into sparkles.

Scintilla the Fireworks Sprite

By the way, fun fact, "scintilla" is an actual word to mean "trace or spark" as per Merriam-Webster Dictionary. It's Latin origins means "to spark".

I had primarily taken this picture as way to have an up close view of Scintilla's model. While at first glance Scintilla could be mistaken for a fae wish sprite, their model is very different. While certainly looking like potential plushie, Scintilla's body lacks the squeaky toy vibe that the fae wish have.

For starters, Scintilla's legs are a bit longer than a fae wish sprite, you can't tell from this picture, but they're bending their knees. So they have a general shape of a fae wish at first glance, but it's likely that Scintilla is slightly larger than a fae wish and mildly more human like proportions.

I checked my old fae wish sprite photobombs and even their arms are longer than the fae wish.

But probably the most interesting is the fact that Scintilla has more animal like qualities. Were-Ah felt that they looked kind of like a tiny lion, while I thought the fluffy nature made them look more like a sheep. Either way, we both agree that maybe they should have a tail to go along with their looks.

As an aside, I also don't think Scintilla is the only Firework Sprite to exist. Scintilla's backstory suggests that they aren't as old (or at least they haven't been awake) as Firework Isles, but we know from stories that there had been sightings of the Firework Sprite since The Dark.

There is also maybe the interesting implication that Scintilla (and by extension the Fae Wish Sprites) like the Piercys are the result of strong human desire or wishes.

i cant be the only one who felt like they missed a whole bunch of set up with the philomenia quest... shouldn't have skipped all the books lying around about her before this patch, darn it.

Chapter 1: The Wonderful Journey — Go to the Firework Isles!

To start this quest, head over the the Mayor's Residence in Florawish.

Go into the Mayor's Residence and talk to Grace. She'll fill you in on what's going on and send you over to Marques Boutique by the Wish Tree.

Marques Jr. isn't there, so you end up talking to Marques Sr. He'll give you the gift you came to pick up. Next you'll be on your way to the Flora Wharf in order to meet David and take his boat to Firework Isles.

When you board the boat, you'll get to see a nice little cutscene of you going to Firework Isles for the first time.

When you arrive at Firework Isles, you'll receive some new quests. This is a whole new area to explore, so take your time with it and have fun. The next part of this quest leads us to Camp Kaboom where we will meet up with Mr. Manague to hand over the gift we're delivering and check on the current situation at the Isles.

After handing over the gift and talking to Mr. Manague, you'll go around and talk to some people to get an idea of what's going on in this new area. It'll end with us meeting a girl named Opera and Marques Jr. Shortly after their meeting, an explosion happens, which sends you back to Mr. Manague for answers.

When you start speaking with Mr. Manague, Marques Jr. will show up saying that Opera is now missing after the explosion.

When looking around for Opera, Scintillada shows up with a letter from her that Nikki reads. This ends the quest.
