A FREEZE DRINK

A freeze I don’t drink

Full downest to the brink

Red coat turning pink

A sinker that doesn’t sink

Shut eyes with a wink

This is what I think

Too much with the blink

A most cowardly slink

Pranks, tricks or jinks

No ice in the skating rink

Furs stripped off a mink

Lizards and their skinks

Skunks and all that stink

The clock strikes a clink

When the ball drops a dink

Beware of the hideous fink

Tie the knots to a kink

Leave no trace or link

Labor, toil and swink

Pull the stars for a twink

Fuss over a mirror, prink

An odd little gink

Reflection casts a jink

It’s time to see a shrink

Before I run out of ink

Connections Gone South

This mind can not help but think

Yet  only both too noble to creep

Tryin so hard not go to that brink

After the great past want to keep

Includes that an unbreakable link

Can not deny that causes a leap

Plus one reason to want to prink

Even each day if a price is steep

As high like try to wear that mink

Or the parts for driving this Jeep

Just want to hope it will not stink

Afraid of all the negative to reap

That before one would ever blink

All the good left with one sweep

Cause it was a different type rink

And perhaps just a little too deep

Making the face flushed with pink

Plus a many night of losing sleep

Trying to avoid being called a fink

Not up to par or emotional cheap

Being  such prison or chains clink

For following lost as many sheep

Even as these wrong did not sink

Now left alone with tears to weep

So before the ego starts to shrink

And the inner wound start to seep

Pay attention to how they will wink

What they look for with such peep

Only looking for a way in this kink

While making the heart goes beep 

This is why to put this on such ink

Giving others good advice to keep
