So today, I was driving down the highway & going 78 in a 55 in a rush to work ( I told the cop that.. Guess he didn't care or something) & he gave me a ticket. It doesn't say a price or anything all it has is a court date & the day I have to pay it by. Which is 6 days from now (unless that's the court date) & complete bullshit because I won't have money until the 30th. This is my first ticket & I have no idea what to do. Roughly around what will my price be? & can make payment plans? Lol I already have $87 insurance. How much will it be now?

I own a small retail store in CT and just received notice that my health insurance (for my family as well as my employees) went up by 23% (!). so when i was 21 i got a dui (it's called an oui here in Maine, but same thing). PLEASE DONT JUDGE ME I KNOW I WAS YOUNG AND STUPID. anyway, i ended up selling my car to pay for the whole mess since my license was getting suspended anyway. since then i have been a happy bicycle commuter! now the time has come for me to become an adult woman again and get my license back because i have enrolled in a college that is not in biking distance.
