You do not know how hard I held off doing insane amounts of detail. I imagine she has the least amount of detail, preferring comfort lol

Her cloak is... well, a cloak! She has a purple dress underneath that I am too lazy to design PFFT Also, for funsies, I made her a different sorta goat species from Asgore :> Made her more of a mountain goat while Asgore is more... of an average.... goat? Whatever sorta species you find on farms, normal goat PFFT

Enjoyed specifically how this doodle turned out, even if it just looks like she's in a hoodie LOL

White mage Toriel is like the best concept ever, except doodling her is making her look like Ralsei BC I thought: "oh I should give her her glasses"

Nonetheless I'm having so so much fun doodling her (all her design is gonna be is Toriel with glasses in a white mage outfit PFFT)

This scene is bugging me sm, I can't get it outta my HEAD So screw it, here's a concept sketch and an idea of the scene I have had nonstop in my brain for Finaltale. It's not even that big of a scene, but it's so vivid that I want to bring it to life someday. SO!

After making their way to Snowdin and the cave that houses Crystal of the ice goddess, Shiva, Frisk meets Papyrus. Papyrus- an aspiring knight for the royal family in training and future paladin, tried to fight and trap Frisk to hand over to Undyne, head of the royal guard and personal retriever of the crystals to bring to Asgore- the corrupted king who seeks the crystals to become a god- however, Undyne doesn't realise this, thinking Asgore is getting the crystals to break the seal that blocks monsters from traversing to the human realm. Thinking her duty to the king was righteous, she stalks Snowdin in search for crystal of Shiva. Frisk, being warned of Asgores plans and knowing about the crystals and what he plans to use them for (thanks to Toriel), tries to warn Papyrus as soon as he's weakened. Yet, he doesn't believe them and tries to fight through the pain.

Once properly defeated, both unable to really move much after the fight, suddenly get alerted that someone else had entered their space. "Good work, Papyrus." Came the voice of a familiar foe. Undyne snuck up behind Frisk and Papyrus during their battle and grabbed the crystal behind their backs. Now holding the light blue crystal in her hand, she clutched it tight in the false fear someone else may take it. "Perhaps you'd be a good knight for the king, however, you still failed to properly trap the human." "UNDYNE?" Papyrus muttered. "I- THEY'RE HERE, THOUGH-" "Not trapped, and powerful enough to best you and escape right now if they could." She looked to Frisk. There was a sense of something different about Frisk that other mentions of humans didn't have... There was a sense of mystic, of an aura, like something made them... not even human.

"You failed your task...." She said. "YOU WOULDN'T, UNDYNE-" Papyrus replied sadly, using his sword to pick himself up. "Fear not." She added "I won't kill you." "???" "But do not follow me." She finished, leaping away with the grace of a well-trained Dragoon Knight would, and quickly, she was gone as quick as she had came. Defeated, Papyrus slumped on the ground in shame and Frisk offered their hand to him, to gesture he come with them to find the other crystals. Nodding his head in agreement, they soon set off.

I cannot hold this back anymore, I really need to ramble about some of the dot points I've made for Finaltale, SPECIFICALLY character classes and what they can do in battle BECAUSE HUEUHEUH I'M SO RRRAAAAAAAHHH

Toriel would be a white mage, someone who primarily uses heals and buffs, however, owning the summon of Ramuh, she can also summon eidolons..... espers.... summons.... they have many names lmao She'd also be able to disperse enemies' buffs and cast status ailments debuffs.

Sans would be a black mage purely because he doesn't have to do anything physical and he'd still probably be able to use gaster blaster-esc attacks, because holy fuck black mages in final fantasy can summon goddamn meteors, I think he can summon gaster blaster adjacent attacks too.

Also, along with sans being a black mage-esc class, Papyrus would be a knight or paladin class, and I can imagine, if you have them both in the party, Sans could buff up Papyrus' sword and make it like, a blade x magical attack sorta like what you can do in Final Fantasy 9 if you have Vivi and Steiner in the party :>

Undyne is 100% a dragoon- Dragoons use spears primarily and do attacks like jump lol They can learn other skills I believe? I don't really remember, I only had one Dragoon in my party once and all I made him do was jump attack pfft

Napstablook (because I can imagine them being a party member in this AU), would be a blue mage. I think it's funny that blue mage specifically suits them bc y'know the saying "don't be so blue" or something.... yeah...... anyways PFFT blue mages learn spells from enemies, I can imagine they'd use a spell called "posses" which causes them to be able to go into an enemy and learn their skills that way :> You'd probably have to weaken the enemy enough like how you learn blue mage skills in FF9

Alphys would probably be a Machinist class, usually they use guns pfft but going off of the abilities of the character, Edgar from FF6, she'd have abilities similar to him instead. Tho, it is a funny thought she'd be able to wield a gun IUJSDGFSDHHJ Edgars abilities that Alphys would adopt would consist of: Auto-Crossbow, Bioblaster, Circular Saw, Noiseblaster, and Drillbreaker (best to search em up), but she can maybe wield an axe or something too for the fun of it. OH I MEAN Circular Saw is a chainsaw so that can be her main weapon MYEHEH

Mettaton is... probably the hardest to categorise right now, but I think dancer class (bc I suddenly remembered it existed lol), may be good >:3 Looking into it more, dancers use a mix of white mage abilities and thief abilities. Able to wield similar magic to Toriel, he'd be able to wield daggers aswell NYEHEH

Frisk is also a hard one to categorise. I'm leaning on freelancer, which isn't a sorta class? It's like, the default until you learn other classes through the game. They can, however, late game learn more potent skills and are able to equip like, anything, so I think that's best for them, given that they actually do equipt any weapon or armour through undertale. They could've been a dragoon bc of being bahamut related but we already got one AAAA

I'm not sure for Asgore. Leaning to Dragoon aswell, mostly bc he trains Undyne and also uses a spear. Maybe a dragoon and dark knight given his Odin form HMM 🤔

LETS GO!!!!!! MY BROTHER AND I BRAINSTORMED SOME IDEAS FOR MY FINAL FANTASY x UNDERTALE AU >:D We decided to call it FinalTale just bc Undertale AU's kinda retain Under or Tale in the title? And also, it just kinda reminds me of Final Fantasy with Tale's usually being fantasy :> (Oh and this is under the cut so casual scrollers don't get bombarded with a WHOLE ASS line of text)

The barrier between the humans and monsters extends to the hole that Frisk/Chara fall through. There have been no other instances of humans ever falling down as it is INSANELY rare to ever fall between both worlds

Each of the crystals are summons that Asgore wants, so he can use their powers to become an all-powerful god to take revenge on the humans (maybe they invaded the underground once and killed MANY monsters.)

Ruins gets Ramuh, just based on the fact that he is usually the first summon you get/considered the wise guide of sorts (plus I didn't know where TF an electric type would go but that doesn't seem to matter for some final fantasy games anyways so PSHHH)

Snowdin gets Shiva, bc obviously, ice elemental LMFAO

Waterfall gets Leviathan because... water

Hotland gets Ifrit bc- ok yes Fire.

Including the Wild East from UT Yellow bc I remembered Titan and I needed him in the story so the crystals would equate to 7 in total lol but yeah he's an earth elemental and that was the only idea that came to mind for him KLSDKJGHSD

Frisk somehow has the Bahamut summon with them (light element), which renders them able to go into trace! :D And was also the reason they fell into the underground and was able to bypass the barrier unlike other humans.

Asgore already has the shadow/dark crystal (Odin), which means all he needs is Frisks light crystal + the Thunder crystal to become an all powerful god cause' he has most definitely already taken every crystal in the underground save for the ruins bc NOBODY goes there.

Chara and Asriel are not present as enemies in this story-- aswell as Flowey not being a thing? I imagine they're sorta the angel that's sealed between the barrier and human realm. Maybe Chara was the ONLY human without a crystal that stumbled into the underground, and being human, Chara couldn't survive there, long term. Honestly, seeing as I've given Asgore Odin by default, and somehow Toriel has Ramuh in the ruins, I can see maybe Asriel had Phoenix as a crystal? And used some of its rebirth abilities for Chara, but he had to use his own soul to actually harness it due to Chara being human and not monster-- And in a last ditch effort, Asriel did the sorta-- Monster absorbs humans soul and turns into a god-like being sorta deal but using Phoenix's rebirth abilities instead and so they became a being in itself, rendering them far too dangerous to keep in the underground. Maybe Asgore seals them away, fearing what they can do and not knowing that whatever they turned into is an "Angel" of sorts. Absolutely 100% someone who can revive you if you completely die btw JJHSDGSD I can see you able to obtain them as a summon if you do a SPECIFIC side quest throughout the game, kinda like how you can get the Fierce Deity mask in Majora's Mask by doing certain side quests (yes, ik, totally different game series but it gets the idea around >:3) Aswell also sorta the snowgrave route but not messed up KJHGDSD just a... very long and convoluted side quest that gives you major benefits in the long run.

Due to this angel-like summon being sealed away, they're located between the barrier and human world. You WILL see them anyways, even if you don't earn them as a summon, just bc you'll see them after defeating Asgore and returning to the barrier to go home, but gaining them before then, would hypothetically give you an alternate scene-- maybe you can use the Angel summon to destroy the barrier in its entirety and let the humans and monsters finally live in harmony. So YEAH!

There's technically still a good and neutral route, but no geno bc-- idk how that'd work in a Final Fantasy sense UYGSDDSGHJDS

Oh yeah, more stuff I wanna add!

Each of your party members are the boss fights you actually fight throughout UT, so Toriel, Papyrus, Undyne & Mettaton with Alphys being another party member + being the sorta... spiritual successor of Cid bc she'd be that crazy mechanic that you see in EVERY Final Fantasy LMFAO And Sans is a secret party member that, like how the Summon is OP, Sans is a powerful ally you can only earn by doing an optional bossfight. That way, there doesn't have to be a geno route to get the sans fight >:0 Oh and Mad Mew Mew would also be an optional party member, but like, she's a sorta normal levelled party member like everyone that's not sans JHDGHDSJH I can see her having pretty frequent banter with Mettaton specifically if you have them both on a team LMFAOOOOO

This is sorta what I have right now! :D If I design the summons, I'll 100% make them more monster than human (Shiva for example would not be human like she usually is. More monster like Ifrit!)

BUT YEAH! Final Fantasy 6 has given me alot of ideas so far >:3
