FFXII ANNIVERSARY WEEK 10th-16th MARCH 2025

This is a bingo card style event, ending on the day of the Japanese release of the Original Game! Ostensibly, a bingo card type event has the goal of getting a line in any direction of the card - horizontal, vertical or diagonal - however, it's entirely up to you how you fill in the card and there's no pressure to get any lines at all if you don't want to!

"Rules" are as below:

-> Create a piece to cover one or more bingo squares (you can tick off multiple squares with one piece if you want to) -> Pieces can be art, fanfiction, meta, graphics of any kind (gifs, edits, recolours etc.), playlists, or even physical items! Anything you want~ -> There are no rules on allowed content, but please ensure you tag up your works so people can mute tags as required -> Mark off your completed squares on the bingo card and then at the end of the week, post it so we can all see how you did! -> Tag all pieces with #ffxii week and please tag @ffxiievents as well so that your humble moderator doesn't miss your work!

Well, after many months- I'm happy to share my (rather ambitious) cover for our Final Fantasy Ladies zine: Lucia Sidera. I still can't believe the team trusted me with such an important cover. I decided to be insane and try and draw every main gal from each title and spin off (I ran out of time, so I didn't get everyone sadly). The mod team was already SO patient with me. I didn't have to do all this- but I legitimately had this vision since 2009 (and there were a LOT less gals back then). You can see from teh initial sketch layout, how many character were originally planned- but then...I went off the rails. (note, the first image is the poster version, and second is book variant)

Final Fantasy is kinda my life, let's be real- as corny as it sounds. It has been with me most of my time here on Earth. It set me upon the path I'm on now. I wouldn't be Allison without these characters, the music, the art, the stories. I won't mush too much, but this, to me, was a very special opportunity to show just how much I love this series. Getting to share that with other people in this community, whose life has been deeply touched by Final Fantasy meant a lot to me- and I hope people find there faves in this cover!

I have the remaining folded posters from the zine bundles coming in the mail, but will also be offering this as a 11x17 print soon! So much detail means it won't be coming in smaller sizes, apologies!

Anyway, it would be all too easy for me to talk about this cover and my thoughts overall but I suppose it's not overly necessary- it can speak for itself I guess! I hope you like it :)

The Necrohol of Nabudis

Nabudis was once the thriving capital of the Kingdom of Nabradia, a prosperous kingdom centered around the Verdpale Palace, which stood proudly in the middle of a lake. The kingdom flourished until two years ago, when a catastrophic event known as the "Tragedy of Nabudis" changed everything.

This tragedy left the city submerged in the lake, transforming the landscape into a mist-covered marshland. The Verdpale Palace became a crumbling ruin, haunted by the restless spirits of those who perished. The area is now known as the Necrohol of Nabudis, the city of the dead.

Today, the Necrohol is a dangerous place. Vile creatures inhabit its ruins, and the aggressive Baknamy tribe has made it their stronghold. It is a place few dare to approach, as it is said that those who enter rarely return.

Final Fantasy XII Cities and Settlements Okay, so I started screencapping FFXII... 2 years ago, yikes. I wanted to take screenshots of my favorite fashion and architecture from fantasy video games. I've been suffering from health issues and autistic burnout for a loong time, longer than 2 years lol. This has been weighing on me, so I decided to I will at least finish up the major cities, and Eruyt Village, and release them into the universe. I'm sorry it's incomplete. Someday, I hope to finish up all the architecture of this game. Some of the stuff I did earliest includes cutscene only areas! One day, if I do another playthrough, I will try to get screencaps of all the unique cutscene 'sets' as well. Enjoy for art references, worldbuilding ideas, etc. Happy New Year!
