𝙸𝙽𝚃𝚁𝙾𝙳𝚄𝙲𝙸𝙽𝙶 𝙾𝚄𝚁 𝙱𝙰𝚁𝙸𝚂𝚃𝙰 𝙵𝙾𝚁 𝚃𝙷𝙴 𝙳𝙰𝚈: @fushic0re
ೀ ㅤ۫ ㅤ۪ㅤ۫ ㅤ ♡ ㅤ . 𝐆𝐄𝐓 𝐓𝐎 𝐊𝐍𝐎𝐖 𝐑𝐈𝐊𝐀:
From one to five stars, how would you rate your writing? (No downplaying yourself!)
I’d say a 3.5. I’m proud of my work, but there’s always room to grow and improve.
2. What do you think makes your writing stand out from other works?
I think my writing style focuses a lot on the complexity of the inner emotions the characters feel. I like to take a lot of time fleshing out their inner selves that way when there’s dialogue or they commit a specific act, readers are able to say to themselves “yea, this is very them”. All in all, I like a lot of emotion.
3. Are there any writers that inspire you?
My fellow writers café members inspire me! Everyone has such different styles and ideas, it really makes me want to be more innovative. I don’t really have any specific muses, to be honest–the fanfiction fandom in general makes me want to write and see my ideas developed.
4. What’s the fic you’re most proud of?
“Take Me Into Your Arms, Siren’s Call” and “Dance In The Dark”.
5. Which character(s) do you find easiest to write and which do you find most difficult to write?
Steve Rogers for sure is my easiest. I love that man with my entire being and have dissected him and my interpretation of him so many times. I find Geralt of Rivia a bit difficult to write, hence why there’s no work for him.
6. Who or what do you find yourself writing about most?
There’s not really a who, more like a what–my emotional wounds. Writing is used as a tool for me to not only bring my ideas to life, but use them as vessels to work out these emotions and proverbially close that chapter of my life by turning them into something positive.
7. Tell us about a WIP you’re excited about!
I have a very cute “Spy x Family” meets “The Incredibles” one shot for Miguel O’Hara in the works featuring Filipina!Reader, Gabriella O’Hara, and reader’s daughter hehe
8. First fandom you ever wrote for?
I’m really gonna expose myself here…it was for Black Veil Brides LMAOOOO
9. Any guilty pleasure trope(s)?
GIRL (gender neutral); black cat gf x golden retriever bf, the mean one being soft for the sunshine one, enemies to lovers, reincarnation.
10. A trope you’ll never, ever write for.
Mafia/mob boss. I have one singular wip with that trope and after that, I’m retiring it. Cannot stand it, no offense.
11. Wildest fic you’ve ever written?
Definitely my demon! Lee Bodecker and ghost!Steve Rogers fics. Those were RIDES.
12. Favorite pairing to write for? (platonic or romantic!)
ENEMIES TO LOVERS, BLACK CAT GF x GOLDEN RETRIEVER BF, and THE GRUMPY ONE BEING SOFT FOR THE SUNSHINE ONE. I clearly have a preference.
13. Do you listen to anything while you write?
Either bossanova, classical music, jazz, lo-fi, or a playlist I made specifically for whatever I’m writing.
14. One-shots or multi-chaptered works?
I don’t have a preference tbh. they’re both very impactful, it just depends on the plot in question.
15. Have you ever daydreamed about side adventures/spin-offs from your fic? Tell us about them!
yES ALL THE TIME. especially for fluff pieces with family dynamics, I always wanna create little side drabbles in the style of “modern family” like they have their very own sitcom.
16. Is there anything you’ve wanted to write, but you’ve been too scared to try?
writing for Geralt of Rivia. The deep lore for The Witcher seems like a lot of ground to cover.
17. What’s the nicest comment you’ve ever received?
I can’t remember anything specific, but my fic “Take Me Into Your Arms, Siren’s Call” received a good amount of super meaningful feedback from Filipino readers that meant a lot to me. They expressed how much it meant for them to be seen, especially in a fantasy-fairy tale like story that incorporated our culture.
18. Have you ever gone outside of your comfort zone for a fic? How did it turn out?
Yes, lore building for “Take Me Into Your Arms, Siren’s Call”! I’ve never written anything in the fantasy genre, so that was definitely a challenge. It turned out amazing. I loved writing it and that fic is one that is near and dear to my heart.
19. Tooth-rotting fluff or merciless angst?
I’m a fucking baby and I can only have angst if it’s followed with fluff…..but I do love angst.
20. Do you have any OCs? Tell us about them!
EEEEEE I currently have one OC for a re-write of my series called “Keeping Up With The Starks”. Her name is Camila Santos Stark, a Filipina-American who is the only daughter of Tony Stark. She’s a spoiled heiress but is definitely a no-nonsense woman who you do not want to underestimate. She’s described by others around her as the rational version of Tony–the snark is there, but so are a bunch of other characteristics that Tony doesn’t possess. Steve Rogers is her love interest. He thought she was a spoiled brat, but look who fell in love!
21. If you could enter the universe of any one of your fics, which would it be and why?
Definitely “Take Me Into Your Arms, Siren’s Call” – it’s pure fantasy which sounds amazing. Plus, Namor!
22. Is there anything you wish your audience knew about your writing or writing process?
Eh, there’s nothing really interesting going on behind the scenes–I just write at night with a candle lit.
23. Copy and paste an excerpt you’re particularly fond of.
“I’m a beauty, I’m a beast, it defends on the feast” – “So Cool” by Dounia
24. Ramble about any fic-related thing you want!
If writing frustrates you, that’s a sign for you to step away and take a break. If you initially started writing because you love it, continue to lead with love–don’t kill the joy.

a long list of current interests
just to preface what you will be seeing here, i'm currently into these (and that's counting what were fervent hyperfixations before but have since dialed down and become more of ocassional interests to return to):
K-pop girl groups (ults for now are NewJeans and Red Velvet)
Graphic design in general
Pop music - currently hooked on Charli XCX, Chappell Roan, maybe Sabrina Carpenter... so many to mention rn
Music from the 1950s to 2000s (generally rock music, disco, dance-pop, and other genres popular those times as long as i can click with them)
Autistic (and generally neurodivergent) relatable content
Saturday Night Live (more on the mid to late 90s era with the likes of Will Ferrell, Molly Shannon, Ana Gasteyer, and so on)
Costume design (and how they relate to character arcs)
Matcha lattes and related non-coffee drinks
Going out to places just to explore
Public transportation
Vintage things (especially the mid-century aesthetics that truly fascinate me)
Muji stationery with getting paper stuff that is more than what I need
The Mickey Mouse Club, particularly the original version
Kinderen voor Kinderen - that Dutch children's choir of which I tend to prefer their earlier years but there are still some bops from their current era
Gymnastics, of which i really love the 1970s-1980s era for its creativity and innovation (but today is also fantastic)
Collages (and it's a primary aesthetic to what I do for art)
Disability advocacy and justice, especially in contextualizing things within the Filipino context I live in
Emu's Pink Windmill Shows - the one with the Catrina meme and something I wholeheartedly appreciate
New York Herald Tribune World Youth Forum - remember those viral videos where 1950s foreign exchange students talk about prejudice and other topics? I've been so fascinated with that program to the point of researching it a lot
Newspaper clippings (and extracting them for personal research)
Okay that's a lot but yeah I will go wild with those topics and whatever creative means I go about them...

Steve Lacy is an American singer-songwriter, guitarist, and record producer who has made a name for himself as a member of the alternative R&B band The Internet and as a solo artist. Born in Compton, California, in 1998, Lacy grew up in a musical environment, influenced by his mother's gospel singing and his father's Filipino heritage. He developed an interest in the guitar at the age of seven, inspired by the video game Guitar Hero. He later joined the jazz band at his high school, where he met Jameel Bruner, the keyboardist of The Internet. Bruner invited Lacy to join the band as a guitarist and producer, and Lacy made his debut on their third studio album, Ego Death, in 2015.
His involvement with the Internet opened up many opportunities for him to collaborate with other artists and showcase his talents. He co-produced and was featured on songs by J. Cole, Kendrick Lamar, Tyler, the Creator, Kali Uchis, Solange, Vampire Weekend, and more. He also released his own solo projects, starting with a six-track EP titled Steve Lacy's Demo in 2017. The EP was recorded entirely on his iPhone using a plug-in for his guitar called an iRig. It received critical acclaim for its lo-fi aesthetic and eclectic blend of R&B, funk, rock, and soul.
He followed up his EP with his first full-length album, Apollo XXI, in 2019. The album was more ambitious and personal than his previous work, exploring themes of sexuality, identity, and self-discovery. Lacy came out as bisexual on the song "Like Me," featuring DAISY. He also experimented with different genres and sounds, incorporating elements of jazz, psychedelic, pop, and ambient music. The album was nominated for Best Urban Contemporary Album at the 62nd Annual Grammy Awards.
Lacy's most recent album, Gemini Rights, was released in 2022. The album was a commercial and critical success, peaking at number seven on the Billboard 200 chart. It featured the hit single "Bad Habit," which became Lacy's first song to reach number one on the Billboard Hot 100 after going viral on TikTok. The song was also nominated for Record of the Year and Song of the Year at the 64th Annual Grammy Awards, while the album won Best Progressive R&B Album.
One of Lacy's most notable collaborators is Tyler, the Creator, who has been a fan and friend of Lacy since they met through Odd Future. Lacy co-produced and was featured on Tyler's songs "911 / Mr. Lonely" and "Running Out of Time." They also performed together at several festivals and events. Lacy has praised Tyler for his creativity and innovation, saying that he is "one of my favorite artists ever." Tyler has also expressed his admiration for Lacy's music and style, calling him "a genius" and "a legend."
Steve Lacy is one of the most influential and versatile artists of his generation. He has proven himself as a guitarist, singer, songwriter, and producer who can create music across genres and platforms. He has also been a trailblazer for queer representation and expression in mainstream music. He continues to evolve and experiment with his sound and vision, inspiring fans and peers alike. Steve Lacy is not only a star of The Internet, but also a star of the future.

Hinam-is can focus on promoting and celebrating traditional Filipino culture by offering regional products, handicrafts, and hosting cultural events. By collaborating with local artisans, the company could feature handcrafted items such as woven fabrics, ceramics, and traditional treats, appealing to both local customers and tourists interested in preserving cultural heritage. Virtual Sketchbook 1
Writing and Research -
Hello, my name is Michael. One little fact about me is I was on the cover of a Ronald McDonald house magazine when I was 1. My assigned artwork was Notre Dame de Chartes.
The Notre Dame de Chartes is among the main examples of French gothic architecture.
Its name means Our Lady of Chartes, as it was a Cathedral built to commemorate the Virgin Mary.
The Cathedral was the destination of Medieval pilgrims, many of whom sought a cure for their illnesses.
The Notre Dame de Chartes is still a popular site of pilgrimage of many Roman Catholics, even centuries after its initial construction.
No direct light ever enters the Cathedral, as all light is filtered through its renowned stained-glass windows.
The way I thought of the artwork did change from when I had first viewed it. The fact that Notre Dame de Chartes’ many arches and architectural innovations remain, having outlasted many conflicts throughout the centuries, makes me appreciate even more the efforts of all in assistance of the Cathedral’s establishment. For the Cathedral’s architecture to be praised 800 years after it was built shows just how well planned it was. After researching more about the artwork and how celebrated its features are, I now notice just how many arches there are on it.
2. Art and Writing -
This art piece is a project I put together after my first communion to commemorate the event. The medium used to create the artwork was felt assemblage. It symbolizes the first of the steps I have taken in the path of my Catholic faith. I find this artwork to be beautiful because of the simplicity with which it expresses aspects of my beliefs. The cross of course represents Jesus and his sacrifice, the wine and Eucharist represent his body and blood, and the bread and grapes represent his generosity.
3. Writing a Self-Portrait -
I am of 16 years of age, a mere 3 months separating me from 17, and align with the male gender. My ethnicity is Filipino, and my parents both immigrated here from the Philippines. I was born in Sarasota, and have lived in South Venice, Florida my whole life. I have always enjoyed reading works of fiction and now I am currently immersed in reading Manga (Japanese comics) and Manhwa (Korean comics). I also enjoy watching anime and have recently gotten into rewatching the cartoons of my early childhood in the 2010's. I really enjoy listening to a vast majority of music genres, my favorite artists including Bruno Mars and The Beatles. I am a member of the National Honor Society for the SCF Venice Collegiate School and hold the position of Treasurer for the Collegiate School's Key Club. I currently am not employed, although I may be interested in undertaking a job in the near future. A trait of myself which defines my uniqueness is how at times, I like to be quiet and reserved, and other times I like to be more outgoing. I am never one who desires to be under the spotlight at all moments, although I do enjoy a little attention at times. Three words which may partially encompass what it is that allows me to enjoy life are Family, Friendship, and Fiction. All the above qualities are meager fragments of who I truly am, as one could never fully put into writing what makes themselves.
4. Art Project (Self-Portrait) -

Globalization is how countries integrate its economy with other countries for capitalization, trading (import and export of products), and movement of people (travel or diplomatic purposes) to ensure good relation from one country to another. As globalization gets modernize as time goes by, we have to think what could possibly affect or the possible players in evolving the globalization.
One of the things that I’ve learned that could affect is the globalization is culture, why? Because in doing business, sometimes you have to know what is the nature of the specific person or the country. For example, your country exports rice and your country are offering it to non – Asian country and as we all know some of the countries here in Asia are rice eaters compared to Europeans who eat breads more. One of the things that I’ve learned why when I hear or read globalization, the first thing that pops in my mind is culture is because, being Filipino, being colonized by other countries had a huge impact on our culture. We are good at speaking English, some of our words has Spanish in it, the younger generation listens to other countries’ music than Filipino pop (PPOP), even the food choices have wide impact on us.
Secondly, our education. Not only education hones a person’s knowledge and skill, the skill and education would be an advantage for that person who have been trained mentally (education/theoretical) and physically(skill/practical). The culture also helps the education system of the countries, for example, if you would look India and Japan, both countries are good in engineering and technology because in Japan, they have a lot of earthquakes compared to other countries. In the Philippines, Filipinos are good in hospitality and management, that’s why Filipinos gets easily hired in the middle east and in cruises.
Of course, if you would include education, you also have to include the technology. As globalization gets modernized, the things we use in everyday life gets modernized too. And as we cope up with fast modernization, we have to learn how to operate modern technology and innovate how technologies could make human’s life easier. For example, in aircrafts, aeronautical engineers change the designs of an aircraft depending on number 1, the crashes that happened, and number 2, needs of people fly more often. The engineers would think if they needed make larger aircrafts or faster aircrafts. For a businessman or diplomat, they would want to travel faster, so they had to fly rather than riding ships since their time is important. And also, ships are important for the import and export of the goods.
As I mentioned, import and export of goods are one of the countries’ way to earn and pay debts to the International Monetary Fund (MIF). The import and export of goods is an example of business. As globalization gets modernized, businessmans also have to think on how they could evolve businesses, thus e – commerce and e – wallets were born.
