#Cw food#My relationship with food has been not great lately (aka eating constantly as a form of procrastination/ avoidance)#So I started calorie tracking just as a way to make me stop and think and TRY#And so far (aka like 5 days) it's been super helpful#Previously when I did this I felt myself like low-key developing bad relationships to food but like#It's a good reset right now#And I decided I just track when it will be helpful and ignore other stuff#I went to a wedding yesterday and was like. The goal is not to count all of my calories. The goal is to check in with myself and make sure#Feel good about my decisions so I paced myself on apps and my entree and got the desserts I wanted most (aka#A dairy free and a dairy full cookie. For science.)#And only weighing myself when I feel like it will be helpful#Anyways that got long winded. I came here to say this because I feel so much lighter and better#And it's not the literal weight because I weigh basically the same. It's just that I'm not on my second ice cream of the day lol
