most people have absolutely zero understanding of Fe vs Fi (or cognitive functions period) and it's beyond infuriating. Fi is empathy and interpersonal relationships. Fe is social norms and group dynamics.

typology is way too bastardized by the public.

#Fe users have a give-and-take dynamic in interpersonal relationships actually that is my primary gripe with them #they aren't endlessly giving #the Fe-Ti axis makes their view of relationships more transactional #they don't particularly understand people's personal emotions but they're very in tune with the collective #this is why they can be good at reading body language #but lack that personal connection to the person's emotions like a Fi user would have #meanwhile a Fi user might not read body language as well but is able to connect with the person's emotions #baffles me that people say Fe is empathy and Fi is sympathy it is Literally The Opposite #i am rubbing my temples #aaaahhhhgggg #thoughts from faun #rant
