it's certainly a choice to have Nergal be out of commission for a while, but I like the Black Fang plotline so I'm not too salty. I liked the scene of Ninian summoning the dragon, even with GBA limitations it was very impressive. Ephidel is dead yay! Lyn memeing on Hector when introducing him to Nils was pretty funny. massive character moment for Eliwood here, both in his reaction to Elbert's death and his resolve when told that there are enemies nearby (also him flirting with Ninian was cute). good stuff overall

my only gripe is that we don't get to use Nils in ch 20. sending the noncombatant to protect the other noncombatant has already ended poorly. does no one remember chapter 7?? I have multiple people who aren't doing anything and one of them is Marcus. just stick them in the house.

also, Legault exists. more on him when he's actually plot relevant but he's neat and I like his design. he'll probably be the requisite assassin if I don't want to just use Jaffar
