Project: Rise Again From Ashes

Hello ! I’m a new artist here on Tumblr, but I’ve been an artist for a while!

  I’ve always wanted to start a small blog about everything I love to do. Such as, writing fan-fiction, reading fanfics, drawing chaotic art pieces @ 3 a.m, etc.

The Slow-Dance

Here you go @emgmusic1. Sorry this took so long, but hope you’ll enjoy it :)

The Furious Five were in the kitchen.

“Hi guys.” Po came in and sat down on a chair.

“I expect you guys at the party on time, guys.” Po said, as he picked up some dumpling and started eating.

“We’ll come, Po.” Viper replied.

“It’ll be fun!” Monkey added.

“I’ll be there.” Mantis added.

“What about you, Tigress?” Crane asked. Tigress placed her tea cup on table and looked at Crane and nodded.

“Ok, I’ll be there. Though, I don't like parties.” She said. Po cheered happily.

“And there be dances too!” Po said. “I hope you’ll dance with me, Tigress.” Tigress glared at them and stood up.

“You better know this, Po; I won't dance there.”

“Huh?” Po asked, surprised.

“What?” Tigress asked. “I can't dance, Po.”

“But Tigress, if you try you can.”

“I said I can't dance, panda.” She said, getting up and walking out of the room. “You better not expect that from me.”

“What’s the matter with her?” Asked Po.

“She is... not interested in dancing, Po.” Viper told. Po sighed. 

Tigress was in her room, spreading her arms in the air and moving awkwardly.

“This is just...stupid! I can't do this!” she groaned, taking a seat on her bed, covering her face with her paws, upset. “I think I should just give up. Too bad I’ll disappoint Po.” She sighed.

At evening...

Everyone was at the party. There were many other people, mainly the upper-class people.

“Guys, have you seen Tigress?” Po asked his friends, while looking around.

“No, haven't seen her till now.”

Po rubbed the back of his neck. “Donno if she’s coming.”

“She’ll come, Po. She said she’ll come.”

“No. I mean donno if she coming to dance with me or not. She might be disappointed that she can't dance.” Po said, feeling bad for Tigress.

“Yeah, but you...wait! She is here!” Monkey said, pointing.

“Hey Tigress!” Po called out to her. She looked at him with a blank expression. “Why so late? Ah, forget it. Let’s eat something.”

“Um...Sure.” Tigress answered uncertainly. Po sensed Tigress was trying to avoid glances from people. Also to the people who bowed, greeting her; she just nodded and gave a small smile to them. As Po started eating his dumplings, he looked at Tigress who was looking here and there.

“Is something wrong, Tigress?”

“Um...? No.”

“Eat something then.”

“Yeah.” Tigress said blankly, eating a dumpling. She was looking at the couples who were slow-dancing with their partners. Po noticed. He ate his dumplings, placing the plate on the table and stood up.

“Tigress, would you like to dance with me?” He asked, offering her a paw. She looked down.

“Po, as I told you before, I can't dance.”

“Come one, Tigress! It won't be an embarrassment! Just come on.” He encouraged.

“Sorry Po. I may disappoint you, but I can't.” She said, standing up.

“Master Tigress can't dance.” Tigress heard a murmuring noise form the next table. “Yeah, even after she’s a knowledgeable master.”

Tigress shot a glare at Po, who nervously chuckled. “Hehe, people have the habit of talking.”

“That’s why I didn’t wanted to join this party!” she scolded and started walking off.

“Tigress, hold on!”

“No, that’s enough for today, Po!” She replied before slamming the door behind her. Everyone looked at her blankly.

“She got mad.”

Tigress back to the student barracks, into her room. She closed the door before taking a seat on her bed.

“I guess I shouldn’t have yelled at him like that. But, why did he take me to a party where people were teasing me for I can't dance?! Is that so unusual?”

“Tigress.” Po called out from outside.

“Go away.”

Po peeked in. “Tigress, just listen to me.

“I don't want to! I told you I can't dance! Then why did you asked that to me in public?!”

Po came in. “Tigress, build some confidence. You stay so confident in fights, then why not in this dancing?”

“There’s some difference, Po!” She replied back. “You guys may see it as easy, but I just don't want to get embarrassed in public!”

Po placed a hand on her shoulder. “If that’s it, Tigress; then we’ll dance privately.” He said with a smile. Tigress looked at him with widened eyes. She grabbed his hand softly, gently pulling it off her shoulder and holding it.

“I...I can't. I don't know how.”

“Then let me teach you.” Po said, gently pulling her to her feet. She looked at him. “Place you hand here.” Po stretched her left paw and placed it on his shoulder. Then he placed his right arm on her left hip and held her right paw with his left paw, to the shoulder-level. Tigress blushed. She looked down, trying to avoid an eye-contact with the panda. Po smiled at her blushing. Po started moving slightly, Tigress started following his steps. Though, they had to keep bit distance, because Po’s belly was bumping with Tigress a few times, causing him to snicker nervously at it. Po then felt Tigress’s body tightened. “Relax, Tigress. Move lightly. No tightening.”

“O...Ok.” Tigress tried not to get nervous, and loosened her body a bit. Tigress accidently stepped on Po’s foot, making him flinch. “Oh, sorry, Po.”

“It’s okay, Tigress. Just follow the movements and slid your feet instead of lifting them up.” He told, as she nodded. Soon, Tigress managed to get the movements Po led, and she also managed to lead Po. She smiled, as she was having fun in dancing with her panda.

“This is really fun, Po.”

“Of course it is.”

Both were dancing romantically, looking into each other’s eyes and smiling. Po even twirled Tigress, she let out a ‘woah’ before chuckling.

“You’re doing nice, Tigress.”

“And so are you, Po.” She responded. “I never thought dancing can be so enjoyable.”

After sometime, they finally finished dancing, letting go of each other.

“Thank you for dancing with me, Tigress.” Po thanked. She smiled and thanked him back.

As both sat on the bed, staring at each other’s eyes lovingly. Both leaned in to each other, pressing their lips at each other’s. They opened their eyes, breaking the kiss and smiling at each other.

“I love you, Tigress.”

“I love you too, Po.”

“So, how about if we go back to the party? Everyone might be waiting for us.”

“Sure.” As both made their way to the door, they heard some rushing footsteps. Tigress came out of her room to see the four running out of the barracks and closing the doors behind them. “These guys will never stop sneaking up on us.”

Po chuckled. “They just saw the truth.”

“Yeah. Of course.” Tigress replied, smiling at him.

The Messege

AUTHOR’S NOTE: This is the scene when Tigress travelled to the Panda village to warn Po, in Tigress’ POV.

DISCLAIMER: I do not own KFP.

I watched Kai taking the chi of Monkey and Viper and turning them into small, jade amulets. He looked at me and laughed victoriously, which meant that I am his next prey. I growled and stepped forward to face him, but someone stopped me.

“No!” I looked down to see Shifu laying down and grabbing my hand. “You must warn Po!”

Oh come on! This isn’t the time for that! We’re in a fight, how can I just run away to warn my comrade?

“Master, please!” I requested. Kai used my distraction. I saw a jade blade coming toward me and hit me, throwing me and Shifu back. I fell on the ground and bounced up again, and fell on the ground and bounced up again, I fell on the ground on started rolling at the curved ground. I unleashed my claws and stuck them in the ground to prevent myself from rolling. I stood up on my knees and panted. Dirt stuck in my fur and clothes, I spat the dirt out of my mouth. I was hardly able to open my left eye. I felt a sharp pain at my chest. “Ow!” I groaned. I noticed a big rock nearby. I realized that even if I try, I cannot defeat Kai; he can only be defeated by a true master of chi. Without wasting a moment, I stood up and rushed to the rock to hide behind it.  I noticed Kai wrapping his chains around the statue of Great Oogway.

“I will show you true power of chi, brother.” Kai said, passing a wave of chi through his chains to break the legs of the statue. “No.” I whispered shockingly. He pulled the statue out of its stand and spun it in the air, and threw it at the Jade Palace, breaking its lower part. My eyes widened. I saw Oogway’s statue falling down the thousand stairs. I closed my eyes tightly at the horrible scene. I opened my eyes to look at Shifu. I used my super-hearing skills to hear what he was saying.

“Oogway, forgive me.” He said. Oogway, please forgive me too. I swore to protect the Jade Palace and my friends, but I couldn’t. I am sorry, Master Oogway, I am sorry. I heard Kai laughing.

“What do you say, Oogway? Do you forgive him?” He asked.

“You may have destroyed the Jade Palace, but you’ll never succeed. There will always be someone to stop you.” Shifu said.

“Who? The panda? His chi is strong, but it won’t be enough. He will meet the same fate as you. And so will every panda in that village.” Kai said. Kai’s words line for a moment, made me think that what if Po will be unable to stop him. The next sight was even more horrible. I saw Kai taking Shifu’s chi too. All Kung Fu masters in China are gone. This means Po and I are the only two Kung Fu Masters left in whole China. I must warn Po, that’s the only way to save all the masters, to save all those innocent people who’re going to lose their lives for no reason. I looked down to see some sacred scrolls, lying before me. I noticed the jade caged scroll that had the legend of Kai. I picked it up, maybe it’ll help Po know how to defeat Kai.

“Po, I hope you’re ready.” I said to myself, and ran on all fours to carry the message to Po. I was injured, and that’s why I couldn’t run much fast. I rushed down the thousand stairs. When I reached down, I noticed Oogway’s broken statue lying down. “I must hurry up.” I whispered to myself and continued running. When I left the valley, a thought came in my mind. “How am I going to reach the Secret Panda Village? I don't know where it is.” I thought for a moment until noticed two big foot prints on the ground. They were big; no doubt they’re Po and Li’s foot prints. I should follow them to find the Secret Panda Village. I followed the footsteps. The footsteps led me to the rice fields, then the Thread of Hope. I remember the battle with Tai-Lung when I reached there. Looks like Kai is even more ferocious and dangerous than even Tai-Lung. Then came the bamboo forest. I noticed one more small footsteps with the bigger ones. “Looks like Mr. Ping also went there.”

Then came the Rock Mountains. I had a lot trouble in climbing the mountain. Then came the Snow Mountains. My wounds were paining more in the cold, snow storm. I had never felt such pain in my life ever before. And finally, the footsteps led me to a big, ice mountain. I groaned. “A mountain again! How am I gonna get up there?! How actually did Po and Li climbed up?” Then I thought if I call out for Po, maybe he’ll hear.

“PO!” I shouted. No response. “PO!!!” I shouted once more, but he didn’t heard. The mountain was too high for him to hear. I didn’t have much energy to shout more. I was tired and injured, also I was running all the way out here, not resting a moment. Maybe I have no choice but to climb this mountain. “Come on, Tigress! You can do it! This is the last one!” I encouraged myself and jumped as high as I could, using my razor sharp claws to hold the ice. The ice was cold and slippery, it was a big challenge for me to beer that chill. I was afraid that if I slipped, I will have to climb this mountain again. I was glad that I didn’t felt anything in my paws, after all my paws were not going to get numb because of the chill. I was on the half way until... my paw slipped. I fell on the ground, hard. I felt a sharp pain in my wounds. I groaned, why is this happening to me? I don't have much time, I just want to get up there, so I can warn Po. I got up again and started climbing. Slowly, but trying, I got up. I saw Po standing nearby. He gasped when he saw me.

“Tigress!” He rushed to me and helped me up. I saw lots of pandas surrounding us, it was the first time when I saw so many pandas, but this wasn’t the time to wonder. I entered the village with Po supporting me. A small panda cub ran to me and hugged me. “What are you doing here?” Po asked.

“Kai attacked the valley!” I told. Po gasped. “He has taken every master in China, including Shifu and the others, its... it’s all gone, Po! Everything, Everyone.” I finished, lowering my head in regret.

“Everyone?!” Po said, gasping.

“Everyone.” I answered, looking down in regret.

“How’s my restaurant?!” I heard Mr. Ping yelling. I glared at him. I said ‘Everything’, and that means everything. So do I have to give special confirmation to his Noodle Shop? “We’ll talk about if later.” He said, backing away. Better. I nodded.

“And now he’s on his way here, he’s after you, Po! He’s after all pandas.” I said. All pandas gasped.

“How long do we have?” Po asked.

“Not long. Please tell me you’ve mastered chi!” I requested. I just wanted to hear ‘yes’, but he didn’t answered me and rushed to his dad. “Does this means ‘no’?” I sighed.

“Master Tigress, maybe you need some first aid. Then we’ll talk about my noodle shop.” Mr. Ping said. I rolled my eyes and followed him to a hut.

Warrior or Traitor, a KFP Fanfic

It was midnight, 3 felines jumped roof to roof from houses in the Valley of Peace. The three landed on a rooftop, which looked like a museum.

“We reached our destination.” One feline said. The other two nodded. The feline used her sharp claws to remove a small window at the top and get inside. A rhino guard ran toward her, she grabbed his horn and gave him a pressure point, he fell on the ground without letting out any yelp, unconscious. The feline made her way to an artefact placed next to a big column, it was a mask. “Yes. Finally.” She picked up the mask. “I got it! Nobody will be able to stop us now, sisters!”

“But what are you gonna turn into?” Another feline asked.

She chuckled evilly. “Wait and see.” She concentrated and put the mask on her face, a golden light flashed, changing her form into Tigress.

“And now to do something evil in form of Master Tigress!”

In the Jade Palace, Dragon Warrior and the furious Five were training.

“Alright students. I’ll teach you a new technique today. So get ready.” Shifu told.

“Sound bodaciously awesome!!!”Po said, hugging Tigress excitedly. She smiled at him and then pushed him away.

“Panda, focus.” Shifu said. Po stood straight. “Good. So, let’s begin. Tigress, come here.” Tigress was a bit surprised that Shifu called her first and not Po.

“Yeah, right. You’re the lucky one, Tigress.” Po said, annoyed. Tigress stepped forth and bowed.

“Get ready, Tigress. This might be difficult.” Shifu said. He waved his hands in the air for a moment and then, in a blink of an eye, there were 10 forms of Shifu surrounding her. Her eyes widened at the odd scene.

“Huh?”

“Tigress, you must use your hundred-eye orb to figure out the real me.” All Shifus said together. Tigress had to admit this was a difficult task. She looked around and leapt at one Shifu, only to find it was a shadow. “Very sloppy. Try again.” She tried again and again, but only ending up by leaping at a shadow, until she started panting. “Hmm... this is worse than I expected. Look behind, Tigress.”

Tigress looked back see Shifu standing and looking at her sternly. “I am sorry, master.” She said, bowing.

“That’s okay, Tigress. This was your first try. Po, would you like to give it a try?” Shifu asked.

“What?! Me?! If Tigress can't do this, how am I supposed to do this?” Po asked.

“Just try, Dragon Warrior.” Shifu said. Po had no choice but to try, only ending up failing.

“Uh, Master? May I try once again?” Tigress asked. Shifu looked at her. “I think I got how to do this.”

“Yes, sure, Tigress.” Shifu said. Once again, 10 forms of Shifu appeared. Tigress closed her eyes and started concentrating. Shifu smiled. “Concentrate on your chi. Focus on your hundred-eye orb, and the right threat will appear.”

Tigress opened her eyes and leapt at Shifu, tackling him to the ground. He smiled. “Very good, Tigress.” As soon as Tigress got off him, she bowed. “See everyone, that’s how you do it.” Po started clapping and whistling. Tigress rolled her eyes.

“MASTER SHIFU!” lots of voices came together, catching the warriors’ attention. “Master Shifu, we have been robbed! And we know who the robber is!”

“What?” Shifu asked. “Who?”

“It’s Master Tigress!”

“What?!” Tigress exclaimed. “Have lost your minds?! Why would I do something like that?!”

“Tigress, calm down.” Shifu said. “What makes you think Tigress has done it, citizen?”

“Master Shifu, we watched from our own eyes! She even attacked us!” One villager said.

Shifu’s ears twitched, as he said. “You might have mistaken her by someone else, people. I request please stop disrespecting Master Tigress by this false blame, she is my most decent student, as well as an honourable master, this means she deserves resp-”

“Would you just stop showing the reverence of her magnificence?” A villager asked. “She is a thief.”

“Anyway, what has been robbed?” Shifu asked.

“All our gold and money! As well as the Shang-Li mask from the museum!”

“And what makes you think it was Tigress?”

“Master Shifu, it was a full moon night, we clearly saw her face!” a pig said. We even found her footprints!

“Master, I have not done it, I swear!” Tigress said, totally shocked.

“Tigress, I am not blaming you on doing this. Just tell me, do you know anything about all this?” Shifu asked.

“Of course not, master. How could you even think that? You know I have nothing to do with gold or money. This- This is a conspiracy against me!” She said.

“Yes master, I know she can't do anything like this.” Po said, stepping forth.

“Alright, that’s enough.” Shifu said. “I can't just believe blindly that Tigress has done something like this. But we’ll try to figure what’s going on. Please leave.”

“Yes, Master Shifu. But you better tell Master Tigress to stop doing this.” And with that, the villagers left the Jade Palace.

“Tigress, You better be careful.” Shifu said and left the courtyard. Tigress frowned, she had no idea what was going on.

“Don't worry, Ti. We believe in you. We know you can't do anything like that.” Po said, placing a hand on her shoulder, and so did the others.

“I really don't know anything about this, Po.” She said.

“Well, Tigress is the only tiger in here, but she isn’t the only feline in here, right? I think they might have been confused by some other feline.” Mantis suggested.

“I don't know. But I am sure it wasn’t Tigress.” Po said.

“Thanks, Po.” She said.

“That’s okay, Ti. And we’ll proof those villagers that you weren’t the one who did this. I promise.” Po said confidently. Tigress couldn’t help but smile at his response.

“Thanks Po. I think I better go to the bamboo forest to meditate, this blame is really bothering me.”

“Don't ya’ think it’s too late to go out?” Po asked.

“That’s okay, Po. I’ll try to come back soon.” She said.
