my fake blood experiments were a success! (kept pigment vibrant while diluting the syrup enough that it doesn't dry sticky)

i did a lot more sewing yesterday than i anticipated because i decided to let out my palamedes cosply pants (very amateurly, but he's supposed to look super roughed up so it lends itself to the look) so i didn't get to apply blood to the suit, but i did most of my artful tearing / burning
