Blog No.2
There are a lot of characters in films and tv shows who are good at fighting. There are Avengers who have powers but my favorite ones are Rambo and Cardo. Rambo and Cardo are both strong and brave and cannot die. Who do you think is the stronger? Rambo or Cardo
Rambo is an American media franchise centered on a series of action films. There have been five films released so far in the series: First Blood, Rambo: First Blood Part II, Rambo III, Rambo and Rambo: Last Blood. Rambo. The films follow John Rambo, a United States Army Special Forces veteran played by Sylvester Stallone, whose experience fighting in the Vietnam War traumatized him but also gave him superior military skills, which he has used to fight corrupt police officers, enemy troops and drug cartels. He is very strong and very capable to fight a lot of men. Rambo is not afraid to die. He is not afraid of his enemies. He is willing to risk his life to save others.
Ricardo Borja Dalisayor simply known as Cardo Dalisay is the Main Titulary Protagonist from FPJ's Ang Probinsyano. He was a former SAF Trooper, a former team leader of the CIDG at Camp Crame, the officer-in-charge of PACTF later became team leader in Task Force Agila. He is portrayed by the Filipino actor Coco Martin. Cardo is also very strong and very brave. Cardo is also a helpful man. He always when there are some people who need help. Cardo is also capable to fight a lot of men and he is not afraid.
I think between Cardo and Rambo, Cardo is the stronger. Although Rambo is also strong but Cardo is stronger because the tv show where cardo's in is still going. Rambo only have 5 films but Ang Probinsya where Cardo is the main character is I think more than 1,200 episodes. I think that Ang Probinsyano is will have their 4 years anniversary and still Cardo is alive and he is still the main character. There are a lot of things that happened but Cardo is still alive. Cardo fight a lot of enemies but Cardo is still alive.

Thanks for the request lovely anon! I hope you like it!
Warnings - Mentions of sickness.
Word count - 1.5k.
The dull throb behind her eyes as soon as she'd woken up had Y/N groaning quietly as she rolled over, burying her face in her soft pillow before pulling the sheets up to be over her head. The feeling of sickness wasn't foreign to her at all, so as soon as she came to the realisation that her sinuses were blocked and she was a lot hotter than usual, she put two and two together to form the conclusion that she was sick.
It was so extremely tempting to just drift back off to sleep. Her eyelids felt like they had weights attached to them, keeping them from opening for more than a few seconds at a time. And the sheets were so comforting despite how uncomfortable her body was, if she just relaxed for long enough then maybe she could drift off back to sleep...
"Y/N!" Her mother's voice came from the other side of her bedroom door, followed by a banging on the wood. "You'll be late for school! Hurry up and get dressed and I'll drive you!"
A groan passed the girl's lips before she called out a weak response of agreement, afterwards dragging herself out of bed to get dressed.
It took longer than usual to get ready for the day, and much longer than she'd have liked. Her head felt ten times heavier than usual, making her almost lose her balance countless times as she got dressed. The thumping of her head never stopped, so before leaving her bedroom she took two headache pills and downed some water, hoping to at least feel better once she'd gotten to school.
She didn't.
If anything she felt worse. The bright fluorescent lights of the school corridors made her head hurt even more, the loud noise of the many student voices just adding to the ache it caused behind her eyes and across her head. By the time she'd gotten to her locker, she was just about ready enough to go home. Though she knew she couldn't. Her parents were at work and in a rush to get out of her house, she'd left her key behind.
Y/N's eyebrows were furrowed as she pulled open her locker door. Her fingers fumbled with the zip on her bag as she pulled her books out, too distracted not to see her boyfriend approaching her. Though she looked up when she heard the locker beside hers creak under the weight put on it as he'd leaned against it, her tired eyes meeting a pair of baby blue ones.
"Are you okay?" Jughead asked with a frown, picking up on the fact that something was wrong due to her unusually disheveled look - a pair of leggings and one of his hoodies that she'd managed to steal at some point or another.
"Yeah I'm fine. Just tired." She forced a smile as she shut her locker, not wanting to worry him.
"You're a bad liar, you know?" He informed. His only response was given in her letting out a quiet sigh and a hum as she moved to wrap her arms around his frame, her smaller body leaning into his taller one. Despite his obvious concern he just leaned down to press his slightly-chapped lips against the crown of her head, hugging her back gently.
Despite her discomfort, Y/N smiled once she was encased in her boyfriend’s arms, breathing in his scent and relaxing into the boy’s hold. She wanted nothing more than to just drift off in his arms in either her bedroom or his, it would just make her day a lot better. Though her thoughts and their moment was broken by the sudden ringing of the bell, causing her to silently wince as the noise shot through her head as painfully as a bullet.
“I’ve got math first, but I’ll see you at lunch?” Jughead asked softly after pulling away from the hug, his hand lifting to cup the side of her face.
“Yeah, I’ll see you at lunch.” She smiled as she leaned into his hand a little.
He gently pressed a quick kiss to her lips before another being left against her forehead, the boy reluctantly letting her go before turning to walk down the corridor to his first class. Y/N watched him walk away before sighing and walking in the opposite direction to hers.
Sadly, her day didn’t get much better. She ended up falling asleep through most of her first two classes, and she would’ve slept in the third if it wasn’t for her strict teacher who threatened to send her to Principal Weatherbee’s office if she put her head down on the desk. By the time lunch had rolled around, she was almost on the verge of tears. She could never handle being sick too well, and that paired with the constant throbbing headache and discomfort was almost pushing her over the edge.
Thankfully, the Scooby Gang had chosen to sit outside for lunch. The quieter and cooler atmosphere did make her feel a little easier, though it did nothing to stop how she felt. Her lips were clamped shut as she moved over to the table where everyone else was, knowing if she tried to speak then she’d probably just start crying.
“Y/N are you okay? You look horrible.” Betty frowned in concern, Veronica matching her expression as the two girls watched the third take a seat beside her boyfriend, who immediately put his arm around her.
Instead of answering Betty, Y/N put her tray of food on the table and turned to press her body into Jughead’s. She hid her face in the collar of his burgundy sweater as the uncontrollable tears started falling, causing her to just hold onto him tighter.
“Y/N/N?” The boy asked softly, feeling her grip on him tightened when he’d attempted to lift her head up to look at him. “Hey, love what’s wrong?”
Y/N just shook her head, squeezing her eyes shut in an attempt to quieten the tears. It did nothing, though, as a moment later the silent tears had escalated to proper crying so Jughead felt each small shake of her body as she did so.
“Come on, let’s get you out of here.” He said softly, taking her bag and putting it over his shoulder as well as hers as he gently helped the girl - who was still gripping onto him - out of her seat. He bid a quick and quiet goodbye to the rest of his friends before his arm fell around her again, keeping his girlfriend close to his body as he walked with her.
Y/N wasn’t really paying attention, so she wasn’t sure when exactly he’d managed to speak to Ms. Belle at the front desk, but soon enough he was walking her out of the front doors of the school and towards the parking lot.
“What’s wrong, love?” Jughead asked quietly, his hand gently rubbing her arm as they walked.
“My head really hurts and I feel horrible.” Y/N whimpered, breaking out of the act of being fine.
“Okay, lets get you to bed, okay? You’ll be there before you know it.” Jughead promised, using his spare hand to pull out his keys from his pocket before unlocking his dad’s truck. He thanked his lucky stars he’d decided to take the truck instead of his motorbike; he couldn’t imagine how much worse he’d make her headache if she had to ride on a bike.
Y/N must have drifted off a little in the journey home, because before she knew it she was sat in Jughead’s he’d at his trailer in one of his shirts and some of his sweats, taking some pills that the boy had handed her before curling into his side, her red-rimmed and slightly swollen eyes falling shut.
“Why didn’t you just stay in bed today?” Jughead asked softly, his fingers gently combing through her hair as he spoke, his other arm secured around her waist.
“I took pills this morning, I thought it’d go away.” Y/N mumbled, listening as Jughead sighed before tightening his hold on her subtly.
“Next time stay in bed okay? You really worried me today.” Jughead muttered, pressing a kiss to his girlfriend’s hairline.
Y/N turned in his arm to have her face pressed against his chest, her arms snaked around his waist as she snuggled into him. “Yes boss.” She mumbled quietly, already on the verge of falling asleep.
“You’re exhausted, go to sleep.” Jughead said softly. “I love you.”
Y/N smiled tiredly, nodding a little. “I love you too.” She whispered. “Thank you.” She muttered, letting her body relax against his, before she was out like a light not a moment later.

Bad Batch Spoilers Incoming
Okay, so it's been about a week since the first episode came out, so that's what I'm going to be focusing on. After all, it was over an hour long compared to the thirty minute second episode, so it has the most things that need to be discussed.
Spoilers below!
Okay, so if you're still reading I'm going to assume you've seen it. Now, can we talk about that opening? The animated shots taken directly for Episode III? That made me so happy.
Then we went to Kaller.
I'm not going to lie, my immediate reaction was to say out loud, "No. No, we are not about to see this happen." My little sister, who was watching with me, had a similar reaction, all open mouthed and sad eyed.
Then Caleb showed up. And don't get me wrong, I was glad to hear FPJ again, but... there was a tiny discrepancy with how deep his voice was and how small his body was. Speaking of--it gave me serious Ezra circa Rebels s1 vibes with how tiny he was. Secondly, and most importantly, why the ever-loving kriff would they white-wash him? Rebels was great about including diverse characters--I won't pretend to know what ethnicity Kanan was in that show, but I know he wasn't white. Why couldn't they stick with the character designs from the comics?
Speaking of the comics... Why in the world would they change how things happened? It would have been so simple to keep it canon compliant with the comics. Just make it night time and keep the Bad Batch out of frame, and things could have gone exactly the same.
Also, there were a bunch of cosmetic changes that make literally no sense. For example, Depa's lightsaber should have been green. It wasn't. It was blue. The troopers' paint should have been red, not green. And, of course, even more importantly, they didn't name the clone captain. Why.
Then we have the whole mess with whitewashing the clones themselves. Is it really so hard to add some melanin to their skin? Really? Echo, I get, he was kept from the sun for a year and a half to two years. But he should be regaining his color, and regaining it relatively quickly.
Overall, I liked the episode. The story was good, and I was genuinely distressed when I realized Crossshair's chip was active. And don't get me started on when they intensified its effects. Man, the angst...
Getting back on track, I'm not sure that Omega is a Fett clone. I'm praying she's not a Fett clone. I kinda think it would be cool if she was a modified version of a clone of Palpatine, which would lead into Rey's origin story in the sequel trilogy (even if that trilogy's not canon anymore. I'll do another post eventually about that).
Tl;dr: The episode was good but it would have been better with just a few cosmetic changes.

4x05 Chapter Sixty-Two: Witness for the Prosecution
Be forewarned: Sweater discourse.
(I merely include this moment because Betty is technically in the frame.)
But contemporary Betty begins the episode in a pink-and-white knit top with short sleeves. She’ll end the ep in a pink-and-white knit with short sleeves, too, but standby.
Betty wore this knit top to help Jughead torch the trailer-turned-Fizzle-Rocks-lab. We get a better glimpse this time around (glad to know it survived all that soot and ash and car sex.)
Love the little two button-detail on the rear-sleeves.
Ten Little Boy Scouts.
Well! I guess you gotta dress the part.
Off the top of my head, I can’t recall another instance of Betty in this very true-blue shade. It’s more of an Archie color. But the FBI has a brand, so.
(It’s delicate. But potent.)
We get such extreme and vivid close-ups during Betty’s serial-killer-savant moment that I felt compelled to include them. Love the eyeshadow.
She pairs the Junior FBI polo with a dark skirt (possibly high-waisted shorts, but I’m leaning skirt.)
The Legend of the River Witch. (In red.)
(Bret wears black crew socks, he’s the worst.)
Purple and green! Betty’s all over the range in this episode, fittingly. The ribbing and the scalloping of the pink collar are all motifs we’ve seen before. It reminds me of the scalloped and ribbed top she wore in 219.
Purple pants though, that’s new!
This is the first we’ve seen the bag, but it is a cousin of sorts to the one that appeared during the Stonewall tour in 402.
The existence of a Dr. Patel in the Riverdale universe leads us to conclude, logically, that somewhere out there in the greater Maple State there exists a Raj Patel. (But when was Riverdale ever logical?)
Betty’s the only girl in this Junior FBI Program (so Kevin’s odds of finding a gay guy here are decent-ish?), but she seems to be the only one with a kid size polo.
Girl zooms right outta there in her white tennies.
I love old yearbooks. I cannot tell if he is épée or foil, fencing squad pls come thru (I actually think it might be inconclusive given so much of the diff is in the weight of the weapon, no?)
FPJ I could get it. LOOK at that James Dean curl. That Jones fam furrowed brow. The out-from-under gaze.
(Also, these names.)
Betty’s subconscious! We haven’t really been here since 209? Lots of visual 209 connections in this episode... Betty spent 209 trying to hunt down and stop the Black Hood, and when she and Archie seemingly finally did...she felt like it wasn’t the end of the story (and she was right.)
Anyway—short overalls are a Betty classic at this point, and she’s paired them with a pink t-shirt and her pink low-tops.
405.
209.
I’m not going to engage with the fact that she’s wearing a bra/lette to bed (this is such a network TV thing)—but these two shirts are really similar. Their color difference might just be slightly too disparate to be down to a difference in color grading—but I do think we’ve all noticed a difference in the color and light in season 4 versus season 2. (Oh how I long for the clear tones of season 1, if only for the clarity of screen caps.)
I love this whole party scene, but doesn’t it feel like it might end up being significant beyond this episode?
Anyway, back to Betty the Serial Killer Whisperer.
It’s a good thing she didn’t burn them when Alice suggested it.
Yellow Keds.
Heart earrings 💙 Or triangles, idk.
Little Betty! At one point, pink-and-red seemed to be connected to Betty’s relationship with Archie, but here I’m honestly not drawing those kind of conclusions. This scene has a different purpose.
Little Betty’s wardrobe is consistent between Teenage Betty’s dream and her retelling of the Caramel Incident to Kevin. Of course, it’s simply easier to have a single wardrobe for these things, but Riverdale’s made the decision to mix it up before (albeit on higher budget episodes.)
Let’s interpret this costuming consistency as the narrative giving Betty the benefit of the doubt. She’s able to see some things clearly, even if she’s repressed some deeply upsetting shit her father forced her to do. I’m having Old Yeller flashbacks.
I don’t even know if I’m implying anything, I just really like the visual parallel and that I’m being forced to think about it.
The Haunting of Maple Manor.
👀
Again with the 209 echoes.
The Secret of the Old Windmill.
(only $1.95!)
“Lil Forsythe III”
It perhaps takes a special kind of zeal to take your half-brother’s confidence that he, too, possesses the serial killer genes and decide not that it means you’re gonna be just fine—but that instead, he’s sus.
But I dunno, gotta break some eggs in order to make an omelette, etc.
I’ll just repeat that genes are not destiny.
Stripes, ribbed knit, short sleeves, pinks and blues—all very Betty.
However, not sure we’ve ever seen Betty in a baseball cap before, even in previous investigation modes!
I think this might be her purple non-investigation jacket that we first saw in 213 (and most recently in 314.) It’s the sturdy jacket she wears when she finds herself in...less savory efforts, shall we say.
But! Another flash-forward!
Poor Archie.
“What’s happening?”
“Wait are we getting up?”
“Okay okay I’ll get up too.”
This sweater is, apparently, divisive. I’ve actually already talked about it a bit in response to an ask. It reminds me of something a Sweater Girl would wear, and I find it really interesting to consider Betty in that context. A sweater is ‘wholesome,’ but a Sweater Girl is seen as sexual—and therefore as something dangerous and corrupting. A patriarchal society fears nothing greater than a woman with some agency. FP storms into this classroom and declares Betty—this whole trio—to be under arrest for murdering Jughead.
This sweater is a bit like Archie’s dial television, or his rotary phone. It’s almost so anachronistic as to be noticeable.
To be brief—there’s something about this sweater and the context of this scene that gives this whole flash-forward a very strange vibe.
Everyone is so shifty-eyed, they have no poker-faces. FP barges in here with two goons behind him, shot Wes Anderson-style. There’s a comics vibe to it. Coen-esque.
But also I just think it’s something Betty would wear: it’s pink, it’s got a Peter Pan collar, it’s got some lace trim. It’s Betty Cooper in disguise as Betty Cooper, and it’s not the first time she’s tried that.
Summary: I think I’ve got a count of 9—that includes 3 separate instances of the Junior FBI uniform, Teenage Betty’s dream outfit, and the flash forward—but doesn’t include Little Betty. So let’s make it 10.
Is Betty a River Vixen??: Again, just on Jug’s wall
That backpack?: Yes, multiple appearances of Backpack 2.0.
The floggingink Memorial Peter Pan Collar Count: The Sweater!
Best outfit: u know wut I’m gonna be staunch and say The Sweater. (I also really love V’s floral crop top in that scene.)

No, Mr. 58 Seconds, Betty was NOT at “her happiest” when she planned a quickly headed south party and she and Jug nearly broke up (even if their reconciliation was adorable).....she was happiest when they exchanged their first ILYs, made up and Jug swiped her V-card, Jug proposed, Jug said they were married, now----and maybeeee even while fucking as they watched the meth lab burn down....
And no, the episode was NOT about school shootings....you’re really dumb and your interpretations/extrapolations suck....please stop trying to mansplain shit that isn’t there....
Betty wears her crown sweater because it symbolizes her as Serpent Queen/Mrs. FPJ III....
And also....this stupid:
Why does he continue to ignore that the Serpents (and to a degree, the Poison Pussies) aren’t remotely bad? The Serpents are now deputies, finding drug labs, lost children and taking down the GK....he’s such a piece of utter bourgeois trash...
Also, Bratz Doll is directly responsible for much of that precise other misery, now isn’t she?

FERNANDO POE JR. FILIPINO ACTOR
Occupations: Actor Film director Comedian/ actor
Type: Film, Television, Stage and Radio Humor
Ronald Allan Kelley Poe (August 20, 1939 – December 14, 2004), better known as Fernando Poe Jr. and colloquially known as FPJ and Da King, was a Filipino actor. In 1953, Poe finished his primary education at San Beda College, Lepanto. For high school, he went to San Sebastian College. He continued his education at Mapua Institute of Technology and University of the East.
His father died from rabies at age 35, leaving the young Poe as the family's breadwinner; to support his family, he dropped out of school. Poe dropped out of high school to work in the Philippine film industry as a messenger boy, and was given acting roles in subsequent years. Starting as a stuntman for Everlasting Pictures, he was given a starring role in the movie Anak ni Palaris (Son of Palaris) at the age of 14.
The movie was not a big hit. In 1957 the movie Lo Waist Gang made him popular, and the film was such a big hit that low-waist pants became a fad. Poe won the most best actor awards at the FAMAS. Among the movies that received awards were Mga Alabok ng Lupa (1967), Asedillo (1971), Durugin si Totoy Bato, Umpisahan Mo, Tatapusin Ko (1983), and Muslim Magnum .357 (1987).
Among his roles were Flavio in the mythical Ang Panday series, Kahit Konting Pagtingin, Dito sa Pitong Gatang and Aguila. His last movie was Pakners which also stars 9-ball billiards champion Efren "Bata" Reyes. FPJ or as known as DA King, in the year 2004 he was run for the presidential of the Philippines, and one of his opponent is Gloria Macapagal Arroyo that defeated on him. We witness the dedication of FPJ to won the presidential, but sadly to say that he was lose and after the election he accused Gloria that she cheated the election.
Poe can't accept the fact that he was lose. Two months later, though, Mr. Poe asked the Supreme Court to nullify Mrs. Arroyo's victory and declare him president, accusing her party of committing electoral fraud. Mrs. Arroyo's camp denied any wrongdoing and expressed confidence that the Supreme Court would eventually throw out Mr. Poe's protest. He was a formidable opponent to Mrs. Arroyo even though his campaign suffered from disorganization and questions over his citizenship, which a court later resolved in his favor.
After a few months Poe was admitted to St. Luke's Medical Center in Quezon City in the evening of December 11, 2004 after complaining of dizziness at a gathering in his production studio during a Christmas party. He suffered from a stroke and slipped into a coma while being treated for a brain clot. Doctors described his condition as a cerebral thrombosis with multiple organ failure.
He died at the age of 65 on December 14 at 12:01 am, without regaining consciousness. All the people are so unhappy of what happen to DA KING all the Filipinos are sympathizing because we know that Fernando Poe Jr. Are very known and famous because of his movies. Poe married actress Susan Roces (real name: Jesusa Sonora) in a civil wedding in December 1968.
They later married in a religious service and among their primary sponsors were then-President Ferdinand Marcos and First Lady Imelda. Poe and Roces adopted a daughter, Grace Poe, who became a senator. Poe was also partnered with Anna Marin and had one son, Ronian and with former actress Rowena Moran and had a daughter, Lourdes Virginia.
Poe was very reclusive about his personal life. However, in February 2004, during the presidential campaign, Poe admitted to having fathered two children out of wedlock. FERNANDO POE JR. On December 14, 2012, eight years after his death, a monument to Poe was erected at the corner of Roxas Boulevard and Arquiza Street, with widow Susan Roces and daughter Grace Poe attending the unveiling. FPJ died but his legacy will remain in hearts of those who will remember him for the rest of thier lives. Poe was posthumously declared a National Artist of the Philippines for Film on May 23, 2006 by President Macapagal-Arroyo. The award was confirmed by President Benigno Aquino III on July 20, 2012, and was presented to his family on August 16.

Although he is officially Forsythe Pendleton Jones III, he’s technically the fourth FPJ to exist in his family’s history. His father and his grandfather share his name, of course, but the first FPJ was a decorated war hero who fought for the Union in the American Civil War. He’d initially tried to avoid conscription, attempting to flee to Canada as many did, but was unable to make it over the border before he was caught with a large group of fellow runners. Engraved on his rifle was a serial number, which Jughead gets tattooed on his arm after diving into his family’s history and turning up something to be proud of.

4x06 Chapter Sixty-Three: Hereditary
“Why-for was I summoned, Miss Bell.”
Bless, boy needs his anchor.
Still don’t know what to do with this sequined dino shirt.
Fittingly, she’s got her ice cream letterman thrown over the back of the booth—something else we haven’t see since season 2.
Norman Rockwell fucking wishes.
Another very Betty sweater—floral, short sleeved, paired with a skirt. Yellow and blue, which is not a typical color combo for Elizabeth, but she is in the blue and gold here, not the first time that’s happened.
WELL. We’ve seen this zip-up already in season 4, in flash-forwards set after this scene (402, 404). To reiterate, it first showed up in season 3.
The face of a man who knows his theory is absurd (but this is Riverdale, what isn’t absurd?)
“That book has the same tone as his short story. It has his s y n t a x, it has his VOIce.”
These two spend a lot of time sitting across tables from one another in this episode. I’m not the first to note the visual recall to 205, nor to note the differences.
(Also, Jug’s flannel in 205 is very similar to his flannel coat at the beginning of this ep, but this isn’t FPJ III Outfit Watch, etc. Even tho he has opened the past two posts. Gotta course correct.)
“Charles snapped. It was like some...darkness took over.”
Peep the purse at right, I believe it’s the one we saw last ep.
Chic is inmate number 15 at Mr. Lodge’s prison.
Now, this is an outfit taken verbatim from 320, where we also last saw the dino tee.
Polygraphs are bs.
I don’t even know where to begin with Charles’s story. I was...so ready to believe he was undercover while shacking up with Chic at the Last Resort Youth Hostel. And maybe he was, still is! Maybe he’s on a double case of sorts? One does not go from addict (and covering up a murder ur lover committed) to FBI agent in like, 18 months. One doesn’t go from addict to FBI agent in like, 18 years. For a civilian, non-civil servant, I know an oddly large number of people who have undergone background checks and security clearances in several federal departments. I have participated in those background checks (not as subject). Unless you have a very specific, individual, and unique skill set, and there are very extenuating circumstances (we’re talking Frank Abagnale shit, and even then he was still only a consultant), this does not compute.
I know, I know—it’s Riverdale. It’s fungible/nothing is as it seems.
(This is a very Betty sweater, no? But Cheryl’s worn heart motifs before, this isn’t out of left field.)
(Really could go for some fries rn.)
That sweater is vey croppy, and the skirt is very mini.
These Chucks again.
David Rapaport’s skill for casting is just absurd. The Jones fam hair swoop that most often appears in stressful scenarios? Poetic cinema dot jpeg.
This fckn show. I don’t know, it seems too simple, it almost seems too early for this kind of reveal. The truth will out.
Summary: Four outfit changes
That backpack?: mhm
The floggingink Memorial Peter Pan Collar Count: back to 0
The Season 4 Crop Top Count: Dos.
Best outfit: mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm, I have no strong feelings any-which-way. Can I abstain? Would that break a streak? I like Cheryl’s Betty sweater? You know ‘best outfit’ is just my fav or the one I find most thematically interesting any given episode right? Okay, let’s say striped crop & denim mini bye.

Erap: Poe is my President
youtube
Former President and now Manila mayor Joseph “Erap” Estrada officially declared his support for Presidential candidate Grace Poe on Monday, March 28, in his Proclamation Rally at Liwasang Bonifacio.
“Ang aking, at marahil magiging kandidato niyo rin bilang pangulo ay isang mabuting at mapagkakatiwalaang tao… Tulad ng kanyang ama, siya’y mahal ko rin at bahagi ng aking buhay,” the reelectionist mayor said.
(My candidate, and will probably be your candidate for President too, is a good and trustworthy person… I love her like I do her father and she is also a part of my life.)
Estrada previously admitted that he was torn between Poe and his then running mate in the 2010 elections, Vice President Jejomar Binay (READ).
Ultimately, he said he followed his heart and stood by his “inaanak” (goddaughter) and daughter of his best friend, the late Fernando Poe, Jr. (FPJ).
According to Estrada, he and FPJ had similar fates –while Estrada was “unconstitutionally removed” from his office as President, the King of Filipino Movies was “robbed of his presidency” in 2004.
With that he urged his orange-clad supporters to help the Partido Galing at Puso standard-bearer to continue the legacy of her father.
He also recalled how FPJ never left him in his past battles, political or otherwise, which eventually led him to endorse Grace Poe for the upcoming May elections.
“Hindi ako iniwanan niyan [FPJ], paano ko iiwanan ‘to?” he said. (He didn’t leave me then, how could I leave his daughter now?)
Poe was grateful for her godfather’s endorsement, and joked that he might only be scared of being haunted by FPJ’s ghost. (Watch video)But all jokes aside, she acknowledged that it was a hard decision to make.
“Ninong, maraming maraming salamat po para sa inyong pag-endorso sa akin. Nakakataba po talaga ng puso. Alam ko ito ay isang desisyon na pinag-isipan ninyong mabuti. Alam kong mahal mo ang aking ama, pero alam ko na ang mga desisyon na ganito ay para rin sa bayan,”said the independent candidate.
(Godfather, thank you so much for your endorsement. It fills my heart. I know that you really thought this out. And though I know you love my father, I also know that you made this decision for the good of the country.)
However, Estrada chose Bongbong Marcos to be his Vice Presidential candidate and not Poe’s running mate, Sen. Francis Escudero.
Estrada said it was a sign of gratitude to Bongbong’s mother, Imelda Marcos, for the good she has done as former Manila governor.
Other national candidates who joined the Proclamation Rally were senatorial bets Bayan Muna Rep. Neri Colmenares, Valenzuela Rep. Sherwin Gatchallian, former Metropolitan Manila Development Authority Chairman Francis Tolentino, and incumbent Manila Vice Mayor Isko Moreno.
“Mas ikabubuti ng Maynila kung maipagpapatuloy ni Mayor Estrada ang kanya ng mga nagawa,” said Moreno in support of his partner.
(It will be better if Mayor Estrada can continue with the things he has already done for Manila.)
Also in full support were some of Estrada’s family members: his wife Loi Ejercito, and sons Senator JV Ejercito and Jake Ejercito.

“Erap Pa More!”
Estrada, who is running under the Pwersa ng Masang Pilipino political party, kicked-off his campaign for re-election, along with his vice mayoralty running mate former 4th District Councilor Dr. Maria Sheila “Honey” Lacuna, and their candidates for Congress and the City Council.
The event showed the 3000 people in attendance Estrada’s accomplishments during his three-year term as mayor –from infrastructure projects like hospitals and low-cost housing, to additional streetlights throughout the six districts of Manila.
Liwasang Bonifacio was the same venue where Estrada held his Proclamation Rally in 2013. He said that is where he first presented to the Manileños his urban renewal platform, with the aim of reclaiming the capital city’s lost glory.
Now he vows to build on the successes of his first term, especially in peace and order and social services, ensuring the continued forward march of Manila towards genuine progress.
Estrada is up against Manila 5th District Rep. Amado Bagatsing and former Manila mayor Alfredo Lim who also had his proclamation rally at Plaza Miranda on Monday afternoon, just a bridge away from Estrada’s.
The event was hosted by Eat Bulaga stars Jose Manalo and Ruby Rodriguez, and featured celebrity guests Tirso Cruz III, April Boy Regino, and Andrew E who performed and gave away freebies.
But to the dismay of the environmental advocacy group EcoWaste Coalition (READ), tons of trash like Styrofoam containers and campaign posters were left scattered all over the venue after the crowd dispersed.
