Alrighty post-show headcanons let's goooooo

Shipping-wise: Fabian x Mara: They date for the remainder of their time at school, parting amicably because they're going to different schools. They remain friends. Fabian helps Mara realize the importance of dating someone who values her smarts. He also helps her be a better person. Mara helps Fabian become more confident in his intelligence.

Fabian x Nina: Okay here me out. Nina drops off the face of the planet, but Fabian doesn't forget her. Not really. Nina ends up getting invited to a 10-year reunion and goes (because that whole Osirian and Chosen One not being able to see each other thing is dumb and we all know it). At the reunion, they rekindle the flamesssss and then they're married like a year later because they can actually focus on themselves.

Patricia x Eddie: They date forever and get married a few years into Uni. They have great adventures because Eddie IS still the Osirian. Once Nina and Fabian reunite they have double save the world dates. This imagined reunion that exists in my brain also has it's own adventure idk if I'll ever flesh it out w/e. Alfie x Willow: They date for a while, but also part amicably. I do like tthem together, but don't really have further comments.

Alfie x Piper: They coincidentally end up at the same uni. They start dating a couple of semesters in and then end up getting married after graduating. They mostly stay out of the world-saving-shennanigans, but Patricia and Eddie, and Nina and Fabian, have used their house as a place to crash multiple times.

Joy x Jerome: They part ways after high school amicably, but they keep in touch. After a few years, they decide to pick up where they left off, date another year or so, then end up getting married.

Plus a couple individual headcanons: Amber: She does become successful in the fashion business. She ends up studying fashion history as well. No one can quite keep up with her genius and she always keeps the fashion world on its toes. She's also very kind to everyone who works for her. She sends her world-saving besties great pieces all the time because it is IMPORTANT to look good while saving the world. Her conveniently designed pockets have probably helped them more times than they can count.

KT: Finishes up school in the UK, and eventually returns to the US for college. She is given Nina's contact information, and they become good friends. She ends up becoming a high school history teacher in the US and her students know her for the glint she gets in her eye when she talks about ancient Egypt. She inspires kids to care about their pasts and where they come from - both family-wise and culturally.

Alright now let’s talk. This episode was so great! Like, damn!! I had to really soak in this episode!

The episode starts out with a flashback of them showing us that Pink was abused. Which is all rooted in them being abused by White. It’s just like an abused person to try and appease their parent, because they know exactly what to do to make them happy, to make her happy, and honestly I relate it.. I won’t get into it it too much. There was some serious things to take away from this episode. We need to move into a generation where kids can talk to their parents and come to an understanding, and move away from this fear-instilling society!

Theeeeeen! Bismuth comes with a newly reformed Lapis and Peridot! OMFG!! Peridot’s new form is everything I’ve wanted! The CUTE GLASSES!! Lapis HAS PANTS, A GOLDEN BELT AND SANDALS!! Just TAKE ME!!!

THEN THEN THENNNNN!!! When he’s falling to their deaths, he literally fused with them IN THEIR GEMS??? SMOKY QUARTZ, RAINBOW QUARTZ AAAANNNDDDD SUNSTONE!!!! Absolutely love these new forms of the gems! Amethyst and these SHORTS!!!! Pearl and this 80′s OUTFIT!! GARNET EMBRACING HER COMPONENTS WITH THIS SPLIT POCKETS!!!

Smoky Quartz having Amethyst’s shirt on the outside means something! I just know it!! Rainbow Quartz and their almost british accent! MARY POPPINS! We have waited SOOOO long for them to fuse and we got it!! and SUNSTONE! Even better than I imagined! THEY ENGULFING HAIR!!! The lecturing!!!! PLEASE PUNCH ME IN THE FACE!!!!

It, somewhat, struck a nerve because my parents are a little piece of that. Then we get back to Earth, to Sadie and the Cool Kids, LARS AND THE OFF COLORS! Lars and Sadie finally saw each other!! They both have scars on the same eye!! The Off Colors will finally live with the rest of the CG’s on Earth!!!

THE CORRUPTED GEMS HAVE ALL BEEN HEALED!!!! ETZSKM:L BJDXYIHPNJO{N LBVKHCJDZSRWETDRIM!!!!!!!!!! How rewarding is that?!?!?! We have spent the entire series with these monsters of gems, and to finally have them be actual gems again?? To be normal?? JASPER with HORNS?!?!?! The Crystal Gems, have SOME of their friends back!! (I say some because some of them are in the Cluster which is also a Crystal Gem) It’s sooooo rewarding!

Y’all we have so much to talk away from this and I’m just like.... WHERE DO WE GO FROM HERE???!?! We just resolved so many things and I’m scared to see where we go from here?? What’s our next conflict? SNEEPLE??

To conclude, I didn’t know how they were going to top Reunited, but they did it!! This was hands down, the best episode of the series and It’s going to go done in history! This could have been the series finale but it isn’t!!! LET‘S GOOOO SEASON 6!!!!!
