Oh my god hi!!! I saw that you saw midsommar and I'd love to hear your thoughts and opinions! Did you enjoy it? I know there was some pretty interesting parts but I thought it was pretty like yeah there was a people being burned alive but you know haha pretty flowers on people's head 😍 also I'm greatful for midsommar for casting Florence Pugh for the lead because she's BEAUTIFUL AND AMAZING 😳😳 sorry I'm rambling I just love talking about this movie with people, but yeah I'd love to hear from you! You know what?

I enjoyed it.

I love loveee the movie! On my first attempt of watching it (way baaack prior to your suggestion) I was like damn this kinda trippy with the fisheye trees in the background or some shit. I kinda felt dizzy????? 😂😂😂 But then since you suggested it, and I did read some reviews about this being a very good horror movie, I was like you know what fuck it. People say it's good, YOU (especially c;) say it's good, so I'll give it another go.

I'm honestly very happy that I did.

Idk but most horror movies today rely way too much on special effects, heavy amounts of gore, cheap jumpscares just to be scary. I love that Midsommar doesn't go that kind of route. It is a little long, yes, but tbh it was worth it. I'm a sucker for buildup so the length was not a problem at all!

The plot points themselves are what makes the whole idea terrifying. Death, abandonment, isolation; those kind of fears that most people feel. It's REAL. Like shit like that could happen, shit like that happens. Dani's fears felt so real and how Florence Pugh acted the fuuuuuuck outta herself is what sells it H A R D. Like holy shit the way she tries to stop herself from crying (the choked sniffle, the way she tries to calm herself down) bruh I FELT that. I felt like I was seeing myself cry because that is kinda how I am when I'm on the verge of crying too.

I felt sorry for Simon, Connie and Christian. (Some people hate Christian for cheating on Dani with Maja, but I kinda' feel like they were all being drugged from the get go so Christian was not in the right head to know what he was doing. Thoughts on this babe?)

I hated Mark. I swear I know it's fictitious but the whole time I was screaming through my cereal like how could someone be so oblivious to themselves being a huge asshole? Lmao.

Josh was kinda okay I guess, at least he's not worse than Mark. Him knowing about Attestupa but not telling Christian or Dani about it as a warning was kinda selfish and messed up on his part y know :(

Pelle is creepy as hell. Just him welcoming and smiling to his friends bragging about his eastern europe picnic knowing damn well they were bound to not leave that place alive was fucked up sheesh. I kinda think he has been having the hard on for Dani for a long time and it was his plan all along to bring her there.

The set of the film was beautiful to be honest!! I love the architectural style of the houses and the buildings there! The music was beautiful too! My senses were on a feast! ❤

You're damn right with those scenes though. That one with the cliff and that scene with Christian messed up my eyes. 😂😂😂😭😂😭😂
