Me: almost done with this Werewolf Shad'zel piece. It'll be a nice Christmas 'gift' to all the folks who enjoy and encouraged this series on this particular brand of brainrot...
also Me: what if we did a Crossover piece?
Me: Go on...
Also Me: Rewrite Baldur's Gate 3 to the plot beats of the Underworld series.

To expand on this, it would hybridize stuff from Underworlds into Baldur's Gate 3 but still, very loosely, follow a mash-up of the plot-lines from both game and movies (though taking place in Faerun, not a modern AU)...
[BE WARNED!! Spoilers ahead, especially for Baldur's Gate 3]
Werewolf Shadowheart = Death Dealer Selene; Starts as a full-blown Dark Justiciar tasked with stealing the Astral Prism. Gets tadpoled by the Emperor
Lae'zel = Michael Corvin / Sonja; Is treated as a fledgling 'duthka'gith' (half-githyanki, half-red dragon spawn) recruited in the pursuit of the Astral Prism thieves. Gets tadpoled by the Emperor
The Emperor [Balduran] = Alexander Corvinus / Andreas Tanis; the main 'villain' of this AU, as all the threads from other antagonists, such as the Dead Three, lead back to him. He plucks at machinations and events, manipulating them in his favor. Yes, I'm aware Alexander is, technically, a good guy in the Underworlds series but he's the only character that really 'mirrors' the Emperor in some manner.
Voss & Orpheus = Lucian & Raze; Interested in only liberating the Githyanki from Vlaakith's mad tyranny. Voss is absolutely loyal to Orpheus.
The Dead Three = Marcus (Archduke Gortash), Amelia (Orin the Red) and Viktor (Kethric Thorm); Given they are Chosen of their respective gods and their unity only held together by a somewhat common interest, makes sense to have them, loosely, fulfil the role of the 3 vampyre clans in the Underworld universe for this. They're still bad guys though.
The Dark Urge = William Corvinus; Think it is pretty self explanatory but also seemed like a fun idea to have a 'wild' element running around in Baldur's Gate to mix stuff up on occasion.
Will do more, if folks are interested.

And adding even more, cause I can't get out of theory boards (and have started writing the intro)... Shadowheart believes she is stealing the Astral Prism under the Mother Superior/Shar's orders but in reality, the orders/plan came from The Emperor feeding Sharran spies while simultaneously moving The Dead Three into the positions he needs them in for this plan to work as well as, eventually, take the Netherstones.
Much like Sonja/Michael in the Underworlds universe, Lae'zel becomes an outside player thrown into the middle of the scheme and her entanglement with Shadowheart, both duty-bound and intimate, starts unraveling the web of plans woven by The Emperor, The Dark Urge/Sarevok/Bhaalists and Queen Vlaakith
