“Oh, I guess I must have switched them at the hospital.” He rubs the back of his head. He really should just get a little accessory to differentiate his phone from the other one that Wymack has gotten.

There’s a slight commotion in the kitchen, “Kevin, stop trying to add vanilla protein powder to Smithy’s soup!” There’s the sound of a smack as Nicky shouts.

“Ow! Stop hitting me with the spoon!” Kevin squawks. “I’d use unflavored, but this is all that’s in the house and I am not going shopping until this weekend is over.”

“Smiths went out shopping on Black Friday and came back unscathed. He even went out into the worst of it just to get groceries for baking and breakfast.” Aaron huffs.

This is his fourth phone, another one that Wymack had gotten him.

All this to say, Neil is now looking at the phone in concern because it is highly likely he swapped his with Smith’s.

“No, it’s not.” Andrew points to a corner of the phone. “You cracked yours up here at the Haunted House.” Andrew proceeds to take the phone and open it to the contacts. Sure enough, Neil doesn’t see his own contacts but the ones that Nicky had programmed into Smith’s phone earlier.
