He has bad sensory issues. This is why he doesn't wear shoes. It's also why he doesn't wear a lot of clothes, honestly. He hates the way that fabric feels. He feels trapped. So, he wears the bare minimum that is "socially acceptable."

Autistic. Special interest in, you guessed it, TCG. They also love studying old unsolved cases that the Akademiya has on file, and then trying to solve them.

I feel like he'd love FNAF if he were real.

They constantly call Collei "Collei Flower." They started doing it at Windblume and haven't stopped since then.

Speaking of Collei, she's one of the few people that he lets borrow his TCG cards. He taught her how to play, built her a deck, he even gave her some of his duplicates so she'd have a better chance at winning. He also watches over every time she plays. It's like a dad at his son's football game.

Hates the rainforest. They always get eaten up by mosquitos :(

He uses Tighnari's tail and ears as fidgets sometimes. They'll just be sitting on the couch reading or something and Cyno will just start messing with his ears or combing his fingers through his tail.

Tighnari's in game color palette hurts me so I darkened everything a bit.

He's definitely autistic, but we already knew that. His special interests are botany and mycology.

They also have an auditory processing disorder. Their ears let them hear a lot, so it's hard for them to focus on one thing at a time. They're also very sensitive to sound; Alhaitham lent them some of his noise cancelling headphones [adjusted by Kaveh to fit Tighnari's head (and style) of course] to help.

Kit has a huge lighting scar on kits back. Kit's also scared of storms, but kit tries to pretend that kits not. Cyno can tell something's up, though.

Speaking of being scared of storms, Tighnari is scared of electro in general. Stem gets very nervous when stem sees Cyno's vision activate, but stem pretends stem doesn't.

He's a vegan. He absolutely hates the meat industry and how it treats animals. He grows all of his food by himself in Ghandarva Ville. Collei's asked him if he'd like her to become vegan, too, but he always says "You're still growing, you need all the nutrients you can get," and tells her about all the supplements he needs to take.

She has a lot of pet lizards! A leopard gecko named Fatin, a panther chameleon named Ziad, a bearded dragon named Kirvi, a frilled dragon named Nayja, a blue tailed skink named Ghaith, and a rosy boa named Anisa. They're all random lizards that Tighnari gave her to help her feel more comfy being alone. She likes them because "they have scales like me!"

In addition to all of these lizards, they also have a service dog. His name is Jabir, and he's an amstaff terrier. He warns her when her Eleazar is about to flare up and gets help.

After Eleazar disappeared, Jabir became Collei's emotional support dog.

Collei has scale-shaped scars on his body from having Eleazar for so long. He also often uses elbow crutches and a wheelchair, since Eleazar had him in bed so often that he's struck with bouts of weakness.

She's Cyno's older sister. She taught him how to use a polearm when they were younger. She's super proud of him now! Supportive sister :D

She doesn't really like makeup or jewelry, but Dehya does. She lets Dehya give her fun little accessories and lets her do her makeup.

Candace is buff. I don't care. She's built.

She hates the cold with a passion.

She does pottery as a hobby! Her vision helps her keep the clay wet when it needs to be, and it gives her something to do with her hands when she's not busy. She can't focus when she's not doing something physical (she just like me fr)

She gifts small pottery to Collei! She used to make them as hard for her to hold her medication, but Collei doesn't really need it anymore so she just gives her cute ones. She made a clay vase shaped like Baron Bunny once.

Very light sleeper. She's always on alert to protect Aaru Village. She also has Insomnia.

1. It's very sensitive to sound and uses its headphones to block them out (this one's pretty much canon)

2. It's deaf and the headphones act as hearing aids. In this scenario, Kaveh learned sign so that he could talk to it when it doesn't have its headphones on.

In both scenarios, Alhaitham knows sign.

Xe wears braces on xyr arms to help with arthritis. Xe writes constantly, so xyr arms are under a lot of stress 24/7.

He LOVES grammar and language. Can and will go on rants to Kaveh about interjections and participles and prepositions. He loves editing essays. He loves fixing them. So. Much.

That gem in its chest glows to determine how drained its social battery is. If the gem isn't glowing, it does NOT wanna be there.

Xe has pica and dermatillomania. Kaveh makes xem little toys to pick at so xe doesn't pick at xyr skin. Kaveh also constantly bandages xyr hands so xe doesn't pick at xyr fingernails and hangnails.

He has a pet fish in his office at the Akademiya. It's a tiger barb named Cod-veh. Cyno named it because Alhaitham couldn't think of a name. Kaveh doesn't know that's its name. Don't tell him.

It has tons of succulents. It's a literal god at caring for them. It's actually bizarre.

I named my wanderer Kunimitsu. It has the opposite meaning of Kunikuzushi, and I can still call him Kuni :3

And I gave him a Goetian name, too. Beleth. I chose Beleth because he looks like a cat and plays music (according to Wikipedia idk). This way it ties into Scarameow and his signature weapon.

Best friends with Nilou!! She's teaching them how to dance (secretly ofc). Nahida convinced them to do it, said it would be like physical therapy. Kuni didn't like her at first, but has since grown attached to her and gets sad when they have to miss classes.

Since aer ball-jointed, ae often have aer joints lock up. When this happens, ae uses aer vision to move around. It's not easy, but ae manage. This is why Nahida told aer that Nilou's dance classes would be physical therapy, to stop aer joints from locking up. If Kuni was a human, it'd be arthritis. Ae wears braces on aer arms.

Kuni has a crack in enis face from where eni fell from the Shouki no Kami.

I uncovered rems beauty mark. Honestly just because I think it's pretty. But for an actual reason rem would stop hiding it is...honestly, since Ei doesn't remember rem. Plus, Nahida helped rem become more confident in remself and rems own skin.

He sees Collei as a little sister. He remembers seeing her around Dottore's lab when she was a kid, so seeing her in Sumeru made him weirdly happy. He'd die for her fr.

They visit Xiao occasionally and spar. Kuni found out that he was Morax's kid and was like !!! He like me fr !!!

Feeds the stray cats around Sumeru city. It's gotten to the point that they see him and all come running hoping for snacks and affection.

Media: Deadpool x Spiderman

What drew me to the media:

I have NO IDEA. The moment in time I was interested in spideypool must've been like a single month. It was the summer. I watched the Deadpool movies and somehow gravitated in the direction of his relationship to Spiderman. I read the quintissential comic book for them (Spider-Man/Deadpool #4 specifically).

What made me a fan:

I guess after being glutted on Reylo I wanted some anal, LOLS. They are also big goof balls, which at the time, was refreshing.

I didn't actually read any fanfiction for it. I was just diddling around in the canon stuff. Sometimes I find fandom pretty distracting from my "vision" (of anal).

Strangely this is the only time I've been interested writing stories in the Marvel universe. I think it's because Deadpool is considered "gross" and "raunchy". Those words intrigue me.

In college, I was an editorial intern for Marvel, but afterward I decided comics weren't for me. Something deeply irritates me about the Marvel universe. My biggest takeaway from my time there was that the writers are paid fanfiction writers, and knowing that fanfiction artists are mostly queer, nonbinary, trans or women, I got pretty frustrated that the majority of comic writers are straight, cis men.

Like even as a 21 year old, I knew it wasn't a place for me.

Have I written fanfiction for it? Why or why not?

My first ever fanfiction! I went on this insane rock climbing trip with two friends where we spent very little time rock climbing and a lot of time driving. I spaced out a lot and built this absurd porn without plot, like too completion, in the car.

For a time it was published on fanfiction.net because I didn't know I needed an invite to get on Ao3. In the last 6 months, I deleted my ff account because of an AI rumor, so it's published anonymously on ao3.

Why anonymously? Well, I didn't want to ping my subscribe folks with something both old, of poor quality, and completely outside the realm of what I've been working on. But if anyone is curious, I'll link it at the end. Maybe you can see some scraps of my eventual style in it.

Anyway! It's funny! It's stupid! It involves suspension in chains! It references a classic 1970s horror movie that features a rape scene.

God, I'm really weird, you guys. I'm so fucking weird.

I also posted it anonymously, because I was worried someone was going to get up in there and think I'm talking about kid Spiderman! (I'm not.)

Opinion on the fandom:

Well, it's Marvel. It's huge. I find it really intimidating and scary. Also the lore for Marvel is SO ENORMOUS. I don't know how you write in the universe and cover everything. I guess you either focus on the movies (no thanks) or the comics (the games? the books? the AUs?) or take what you want and leave the rest. But I don't interact with it. It ain't my bag.

Would I read it again?

1. In primul rind copiii (ca si parintii lor) trebuie invatati sa se compare numai cu ei insusi. Orice referire la colegi si premiile lor meritate sau nu sint din punctul meu de vedere complet nepotrivite.

2. Asa cum parintii au servicii si obligatii si copiii au ‘servicii’ = scoala si obligatii = lectii. Unii profesori sint mai exigenti, altii nu; un an scolar e mai lejer, altul nu. Asa e si in viata prin urmare nu le mai plingeti de mila ca supravietuiesc.

3. Gasesc ca modul in care se preda in tara si rigiditatea profesorilor sint in parte motivele pentru care unor copii le e frica sa participe in clasa. Jena de a fi facuti de ris infrineaza curgerea de idei.

4. Scoala romaneasca oferea si probabil inca ofera o pregatire academica si cunostinte generale bune. Nu ne pregatea insa pentru realitatile vremii. Noi cei formati pe vremea ‘veche’ nici ca ne trebuia sa ne descurcam in viata ca doar aveam toti joburi si salarii asigurate.

5. Sistemul de invatamint American merge bine, ba chiar foarte bine zic eu. Trebuie insa sa-l intelegi. Cu permisiunea voastra uite cum am inteles eu ca sta treaba asta:

· In linii mari scolile americane (inclusiv liceul) au o reputatie proasta in lume (adevarat).

· Fiecare zona are un Board of Education responsabil pentru alegerea cursurilor, etc. care este platit de taxele locale ale zonei. Zonele cu scoli bune-foarte bune sint si cele cu parinti exigenti si taxe mai mari.

· Se considera o zona buna cea unde numarul de cursuri AP oferite la liceu este mare. Advanced Placement cursuri sint la nivel de college predate de profesori cu o pregatire superioara. Sint licee care ofera 1 AP curs in toti cei 4 ani de liceu si licee cu 24 AP cursuri in 4 ani de liceu.

· De la clasa a 3-a copiii talentati sint pusi intr-un program numit ‘gifted and talented’ (denumirile difera de la stat la stat ca si anul in care sint oferite). Astea sint clasele special de matematica, engleza…Motivul pentru care nu sint formate clase numai cu copii talentati este pentru ca au incercat si a iesit prost. Intentia scolii americane este sa pregateasca copiii pentru viata si viata este mixa de la culori si rase la nivele intelectuale. In concluzie cei care pot mai mult sint scosi din clasele lor la orele de matematica, etc dar restul de clase generale le fac la gramada.

· In liceu esti obligat sa iei numai un numar X de clase peste care tu alegi ce alte cursuri vrei sa iei. Deci poti sa iei AP clase cite poti si vrei sau de loc.

In concluzie: scoala Americana este formata pe principiul sa TE ajute sa te dezvolti la potentialul dorit de TINE. Cine vrea sa invete, invata. Profesorii abia asteapta sa aibe studenti doritori sa fie challenged.

Rezultatul sint univeristatile americane. Consultati ‘Shanghai ranking’ sa vedeti ce rezultate produce sistemul de invatamint American. Din primele 50 de univeristati 33 sint americane.

Daca as fi in locul parintilor cu copii inca in scoala as mai introduce o materie: sinceritatea. Nu as incerca sa scuz sau sa justific de ce X a luat 10 si al meu 8 ci as spune-o pe nume. Da, profesorul a gresit si nu stiu de ce a facut asta dar tu nu te duci la scoala sa iei note; tu te duci la scoala sa capeti cunostinte intelectuale sa poti ulterior sa faci ce meserie vrei. Vrei si tu 10? Ia-l pentru tine si nu pentru ca X l-a luat. --- Absolut adevarat ca aici procesul de admitere universitara are o complexitate ce il determina pe student la responsabilitate si efort sustinut. Am asa daug doar un detaliu, aici in Canada (presupun ca in US este la fel), pentru a graduate high-school, adica pentru a primi diploma si deci a fi apt sa aplice la university, studentul are nevoie sa dovedeasca cu documente, cateva zeci de ore de voluntariat in servicii comunitare acreditate. Probabil ca multi romani ar zice ca este o prostie....dar in realitate este un program de consolidare a responsabilitatii si spiritului civic. Este ca un part time job, unde studentul invata ce inseamna sa fii angajat, sa lucrezi in echipa ca subordonat si intelege prin experienta personala, ca daca vrei sa fii mai sus in societate, atunci trebuie sa mergi mai departe sa studiezi in University. ---

am uitat sa mentionez de voluntariat ca aici parca face parte din curriculum asa de practicat este. Ba chiar multi liceeni se duc in excursii organizate in Africa, America de sud, etc cu misiuni umanitare pentru care ei/parintii platesc.

In legatura cu ‘student lown-urile’este adevarat ca multi termina facultatea cu sume mari de platit inapoi si cu toate astea tot se duc la facultati. Daca nu ar putea fi platite intr-un interval decent nimeni nu s-ar mai indatora. Faptul ca tinerii americani inca se duc la facultati cu bani imprumutati este dovada ca imprumuturile sint platite inapoi intr-un interval de timp mult mai mic zic eu.

O curiozitate este ca de dupa 1990 Princeton University aduce anual in jur de 10 studenti romani majoritatea olimpici la matematica care apoi sfirsesc a lua master la Harvard University (cei mai multi). Nici unul din acesti studenti nu are toti banii de platit si este tinut de facultate. Nota: facultatile foarte bune sint private si au bani de la donori.

Accesul la studii superioare este la dispozitia oricui vrea. Ca numai 20% se duc la facultati nu are nimic de-a face cu capitalismul inteles gresit. Fiecare are oportunitatea sa intre la cele mai bune scoli nu toti insa aleg sa faca asta. Ce nu se stie este ca un numar destul de mare de tineri americani isi deschid business-uri particulare la scurta vreme de la graduarea liceului, ca intr-o societate capitalista sanatoasa. Mai mult chiar, multi se duc 2-4 ani la Community College si apoi deschid business. Baietii mai nou fac landscape si sint cei care iti taie iarba vara si curata zapada iarna. Cum necum e loc pentru toti.

Cind se spune sa ‘shop local’ aici asta se face. Fermele locale sint preferate in particular pentru gradinarit vis a vis de magazinele mari. Restaurantele sint in vasta majoritate locale ca si coaforurile si cam tot ce iti trece prin cap. America a prosperat prin micile busniness-uri prin urmare nu vad nimic gresit ca numai 20% aleg studiile superioare.

Hello! I've recently gotten into Fantastic Four comics and have fallen in love with this blog. I was wondering if you have any comic recommendations for Sue Storm specifically? I love her and she's such an underrated Marvel lady! Thanks for your time.

Aw, thank you! You’re so kind! And, yes, Sue IS very underrated and fandom always misses how much of a badass she is. I tend to prefer stories where she is depicted as the badass she is, as a a mentor to younger women, and…well, I ship BenReedSue, so I love the shippy comics too.

So if you haven’t read many FF comics, it might be a good idea to start out with the Marvel Adventures Universe (Earth-20051), since in that universe Sue is a founding member and the leader of both the Fantastic Four and the Avengers. It’s pretty great! She appears in all of Marvel Adventures Fantastic Four, and she’s in Marvel Adventures Super Heroes v1 #17-21 and v2 #1-11 and #23. If I had to pick out specific issues though, I’d go with:

Marvel Adventures Fantastic Four v1 #9: “The Master of Sound”: Klaw decides to take down the Fantastic Four one-by-one, in what he determines is strongest to weakest…and makes the mistake of leaving Sue for last.

Marvel Adventures: Fantastic Four v1 18: “The Spy I Couldn’t See": Nick Fury recruits Sue to moonlight as a SHIELD agent.

Marvel Adventures: Fantastic Four Vol 1 47: “Grimm Smash!”: A universe where Sue has Reed’s intelligence and Johnny’s powers and is best friends with Natasha Romanoff.

Marvel Adventures Super Heroes v2 #2: When Galactus apparently puts an ad on Craigslist searching for a new herald, Sue and her Avengers investigate.

I also love Tales of the Thing v1 #3: “Invisible Things,” where Sue and Ben take on the Wrecking Crew alone, which takes place in the Marvel Age Universe (Earth-50302). She’s cool in Fantastic Four: Season One and in Mythos: Fantastic Four, although that centers less on her.

As for the Prime Marvel Universe (Earth-616)…I tried to stick to comics that more-or-less focus on Sue and also are more or less understandable (I hope!) as stand-alones.

Marvel Team-Up v1 #88: “A Child Is Waiting”: Sue’s son Franklin is kidnapped by some overly ambitious mobsters, so she teams up with Spider-Man to rescue him. Read if you love high speed car chases and also watching Sue beat the shit out of mobsters who dared to abduct her baby.

Fantastic Four Vol 3 2: Be It Ever So Humble: The FF adjust to their new home on Pier 4…until they are attacked by a mysterious new foe that only Sue can see.

Fantastic Four v3 22: “Lost Hope!”: An AU Sue’s teenage daughter, Valeria Von Doom, materializes out of the blue. Sue rejects her.

X-Men / Fantastic Four Vol 1 1-5: Sue joins the X-Men to investigate a NASA space station that abruptly went silent.

Fantastic Four v1 #501-502: “5th Wheel, Parts 1-2”: Sue tries desperately to help her traumatized son recover from Doom’s most recent vicious attack, which involved throwing Franklin into Hell.

Marvel Knights 4 v1 #5-7: “The Pine Barrens, Pts. 1-3”: Ben, Reed, and Sue take their son Franklin and his friends on a camping trip that is more eventful than they’d anticipated.

Captain Universe: Invisible Woman Vol 1 1: “Empowered”: Sue temporarily absorbs uni-power, Gladiator wants it back.

Fantastic Four v1 #547-549: “Reconstruction, Chapters 4-7”: Sue is captured and tortured by the Frightful Four…and then she gets her revenge.

Fantastic Four v1 #558-562: “Death of the Invisible Woman, Parts 1-5”: A mysterious team of supervillains arrives from the future and abducts Victor Von Doom.

Top 3 fictional universes I wanna join: Doctor Who! My long-standing favorite show/universe. 

Uh, I guess Pitch because even though its set in our time and everything Id love for women and WoC in particular to be rising stars and that show was real and good.

Then probably like HP, or TWW, or OUAT or someplace with magic because I'm a sucker for them types of shows. I have to know that magic is real so like if you've got proof pls hit me up.
