The XA Ford Falcon GT was released in March 1972 and ceased production in September 1973, and was the first Falcon GT to be available in a two door coupe. The XA was the first Australian built Falcon not to be based on a American design, and was almost completely designed in Australia. The XA Hardtop became the more preferred option to be used in Australian Touring Car Racing due to it's larger rear wheel arches for wider racing tyres. Nissan Skyline BCNR33 GT-R (Type 2) manufactured in April 1996. JDM non V-Spec vehicle retailed through Osaka Nissan Prince in May/June 1996. Imported to the UK in June 1997. Remained in original JDM spec without speedometer conversion until August 2002. Only the steering wheel & white dial sets were fitted in Japan.

Nevill Johnson  (1911-1999)

Born in Buxton, Derbyshire in 1911, Nevill Johnson was a significant figure in Ireland's art world in the mid-twentieth century. Best known for quasi-abstract still-lives, interiors and landscapes, he was also a talented photographer. After attending Sedbergh School, Johnson went to work for the Ferodo motor parts company, and was soon afterwards transferred to their Belfast office, where he took up painting part-time, and became friends with the writers John Hewitt and Louis MacNeice. 

Influenced by the painter John Luke, Johnson initially produced tempera works that reflected his increasingly Existential world view. In 1936, he and Luke travelled to Paris, where they saw works by Picasso, Yves Tanguy and Salvador Dali, the latter becoming a significant influence on Johnson, who, after his return to Belfast, produced a series of Surrealist paintings.

Luego de dejarla en casa me pidió que le dijera cuando llegase a casa. Eran las 2am y el plan era ir a casa, pero decidí ir hasta Garraf, y luego hasta Vallcarca, luego pensé que ya que estaba ahí podría ir hasta Sitges, que casi nunca hacía ese tramo.

Acabé en Foix haciendo unas pasadas con los locales en sus ruidosos civic con cajas cortas, me quedé en reserva.

Charlé con los locales que iban tan rápido y después de compartir conocimiento decidí volver a casa. Con hambre y sueño el camino se hizo pesado, como si nunca llegase a la gasolinera, paré en la Q8 donde me paré a pensar en las pasadas que hice esa noche, cuando se acaben las pastillas que llevo, montaré Ferodo o algo así, las Brembo de 30e no frenan tan bien como pensaba, todo el feeling de frenado está en el fondo del pedal, a lo que no me acostumbro pues nunca sé si me he quedado sin frenos o simplemente tengo que apretar más.

Las costas me dieron algo de fuelle hasta llegar a casa, no tuve tráfico en toda la pasada :)
