Harvard by Treflyn Lloyd-Roberts Via Flickr: Built in 1942 by Noorduyn for the Royal Canadian Air Force, FE511 takes to the air for a pleasure flight from White Waltham Airfield. An hour or so later, this was my photoship for an air-to-air sortie with Hurricane R4118. Aircraft: Noorduyn AT-16 Harvard IIb G-CIUW/FE511. NA Harvard IIb 'SE-BII' by Alan Wilson Via Flickr: Originally allocated US serial 42-708, this Harvard served with the RAF as FE511 before moving post-war to Sweden as Fv16128. It is still based in Sweden, but is now civil registered and painted in a pseudo US military scheme with invasion stripes. c/n 14-245. Russian Air Force 100th Anniversary Airshow. North American Harvard IIb 'FE511' (G-CIUW) by Alan Wilson Via Flickr: c/n 14-245. Built 1942 by Noorduyn Aviation as an AT-16-ND and allocated the US military serial 42-708. Delivered directly to the RAF with the British military serial FE511. Sold postwar to the Swedish Air Force where it served from 1947 to 1969 with the serial Fv16128. Now privately owned and restored in its’ original wartime RAF colour scheme. Seen supporting the Shuttleworth Collections’ 2019 Military Airshow Old Warden, Bedfordshire, UK 7th July 2019
