She obliged, albeit reluctantly. Her body was positioned in a way as if she was trying to avoid you. Hesitating, you rest a hand on Robin's knee which seems to trigger some sort of reaction. Her face turned two more shades of pink and her big, doe eyes filled with unshed tears.

“Robin?” You ask softly, thumb tracing gentle circles over her knee, “W-what happened? Is it Bailey again?” Suddenly she whips around, pushing your hand off her body. Her brown mascara starts running down her cheeks as the tears break through. Her tone is sharp albeit still trembling, 

“A-are you serious? You… you really think this is just about Bailey?” she snaps. Your body recoils, the rejection and anger making your face run hot.
