listen, i like the idea of a Future Leonardo trying to kill his younger self upon first meeting as much as the next guy, but, and hear me out on this.....
what if he didn't? what if, instead, his first thoughts upon seeing his younger self is; he's just a child. he didn't deserve to have the fate of the world fall upon his shoulders.
what if F!Leo looked at young Leo, saw Casey Jr. in him, and realized he couldn't imagine placing any blame for the apocalypse on this kid?
and what if he reassured his younger self that, no, it wasn't his fault, and he shouldn't have to carry that blame?
