Random art I wanted to make of my character, Zvjezdan. It's kind of a whee valentine's art, considering it's there with flowers! Jezzy was told that giving flowers is a human custom and as a demon, it was unaware. Therefore, there are flowers given for all dates! I really just wanted to draw it in this outfit, not entirely sure why. And give Jez an actual picture I guess. Art and Zvjezdan belong to me! All done in photoshop

So in ELS is it that her friend is just trusting her gut feeling or is she getting fleeting glimpses of someone who looks like her in her dreams? And on that note does the dream world connect with people in that way? Does it inspire people into making creations real as in on paper?

Jamie is her friends name. Jamie says she saw a flash at the accident, and swears there wasn't a body there. Like she just vanished. I can't spoil too much. She has never dreamed of Ellie though, no!

This world is created from people's dreams (and nightmares). There are different categories for both sections.

For Dreams, you have actual dreams a person has. For example, in the city there is a train that is ran by a conductor. That conductor was created from the dreams of a little boy who loved trains (and bugs and cars and stuff). So he is a little bug like and runs the train station there, called Starlight Express. There is also a dog who is a policeman, from a boy who loved his dog and has dreams of being a policeman. There are also collective wishes, for example, a caretaker named Fleur runs a home for new creations just getting on their feet. She is the collective wish of having a loving mother, and she has deer traits, like a mother deer. Then you have Imaginary Friends. These are of course, from children who make up a friend and their connection and love for that friend is so strong it creates them in that world. There is a jester named Kit who is sorta robotic, she is from a toy/doll a child had that they loved very much that also was mixed with an imaginary creation.

And then you have Nightmares. Things created from actual sleep nightmares, to collective phobias and fears. There is a sea creature named Philo who is from the fear of drowning. There is also a harpy lady named Ruby who is from the fear of heights. Many others too!

And then you have the Vials. (Which are sorta spoilerish and will be explained another time!)

Their cities are separated for reasons but are connected with the train.

In ELS can the imaginary friends/creations die?

Yes, but by... well, y'know, killing them. They are sturdier and live longer than humans by a LOT, but they can be killed. And at some point, their version of aging and dying is their colors start to gray before the day they go to sleep and not wake up, and they are completely grayed out. Their spark gone. Depression can also take them out like that as well. One of the imaginary friends who is one of the main characters that help Ellie is slowly graying out due to sadness.

Does Ellie come across her old imaginary friend or nightmare in the world she found herself in?

Ellie never had any. Or did she? Dundundun.

Nah tho, she never had one, for either. Dreams and Nightmares are only manifested into an entity if something is so intense, whether a dream that really sticks, or a nightmare or fear is so intense it really swallows that person. Imaginary friends are like that, as a child and sometimes rarely an adult create something so thoroughly with belief of reality that this being manifests.

Imaginary friends have the grasp of being somewhat visible to their creators, albeit only the time till they move on and are sent to Luminia. This can happen naturally or prematurely.

Now Elise does have something in that world but thats spoilers hush hush

Ellie probably wishes she had a vacuum cleaner on her to deal with Dust.

If only it were so easy. The two townships are Luminia and Noxvare (dreams and nightmares) and Noxvare wants to pop Dust in a grave so quick and Luminia barely tolerate him, Ellie isn't the only one battling the annoyance.
