So, you always screeched about being right, well you were proven wrong today. Shippers have finally the proof of SC kissing at the Paramore part of the Taylor Swift concert. Right there in public. Like a couple.

Those are screencaps from a video of the Outlander cast at the Taylor Swift concert last week in Edinburgh at Murrayfield. Apparently, the few remaining Extreme Shippers, who are holding on to their barnacle-ridden, long-sunken SamCait ship, have been given a life boat and think the ship is sailing again due to this. First, let me get this out of the way. HAHAHAHAHA 🤣😂. OMG, desperation, thy name is SamCait shippers. Sadly, there is a fairly new account on Tumblr that is led by an OG shipper returned from the bottom of the ocean to galvanize new shippers into thinking Sam and Cait are actually a secret couple. Try to keep up with the times, people, that's SO ten years ago. And, the Taylor Swift concert video is now being used as "proof" that Sam and Cait decided to finally "out" their "secret love" very publicly at a Taylor Swift concert of all places. Again, HAHAHAHAHA 🤣😂. Lord. You can't make this shit up.

Um, this looks like a cheek kiss to me, or even Cait leaning in close to Sam to tell him something, since the concert is obviously very loud.

Regardless, Cait was also kissing Sophie Skelton and John Hunter Bell. Is she in a secret relationship with them as well?

Here's the actual video. 👇 Of the Outlander cast, Sam is the tallest male there, Cait is the tallest female there. It's obvious they would stand behind everyone for most of the concert so that their costars could SEE. If not, they would have been blocking them. Duh.

Sam and Cait have known each other for 10 years. They are good friends and costars. They have a bond via their shared experiences on Outlander. In addition, they've fake f*cked onscreen for 10 years, they are a wee familiar with each other. And as I've said MANY times before, most actors are not like you and me. They are a different breed, they are touch-feely, and flirty. That's just the way it is in showbiz. That DOES NOT mean they are a couple in real life. Why must I have to keep explaining the OBVIOUS over and over again?

When I watch the video, ALL I SEE, is two friends and costars having fun together. But because Extreme Shippers have been waiting for Sam and Cait to "finally reveal their relationship," like it's the Second Coming of Christ or some shit, THIS video will now be used as "proof" that Sam and Cait "came out as a couple at the Taylor Swift concert." And it will become shipper canon forever more. Along with all the other LIES Extreme Shippers leaders have sold to their unsuspecting minions. Soooo, for those who are new to Outlander and stumble into shipper blogs, and get persuaded by the blurry videos, manipulated gifs, and general bullshit, here is my REALITY CHECK for you.

I hate to post a pic from Cait's father's funeral, but it's to prove the point that Cait would obviously attend her father's funeral with her HUSBAND, Tony. And she even took their son. Even Extreme Shippers should have a hard time explaining away Cait's mother and sister standing right next to her in this pic. But, of course in ES' pea-brains the mum and sister are in on the charade. I see Outlander's Extreme Shippers have their own take on those "Who is X husband/wife" blurbs. They think Caitriona and Sam are paying to get those articles published to hide the fact they're together.

Of all tinhaters, those are the ones that crack me up the most. Imagine a studio doing everything they can to prevent the stars of their most popular show from saying they're a couple. How does that make sense? If Cait and Sam really were a couple and parents to multiple kids, we would know by now. There's no way to keep something like this secret for so long.

Luffy not knowing about Zoro promising Sanji to kill him if he ever ends up losing himself makes me go feral because that's something they can only know about. Because Zoro's respect for life and death goes beyond anything, and Sanji knows he understands. Sanji knows that if somebody has to kill him, it's him.

And I don't even think it's because Sanji assumes Zoro's opinion of him is hatred and it would hurt less for him to do this, but because Sanji knows only Zoro would be able to treat the promise as it is. Because he would put Sanji's wishes before any feelings he has for him. It's not that Zoro doesn't care, but I think he respects people's ideals and decisions to the extent of being able to kill Sanji if he so desires.

That being said, he'd do it if there's no other way to fix it. If it's either dying or living as an emotionless machine, which is the same as dying for Sanji, Zoro would fulfill his promise. And there is just... Something about Luffy not knowing. Their captain. The man they're devoted to the most as if he were their God. Luffy doesn't know. It's something only the captain's wings are aware of and the thought of these two keeping this from Luffy until the end is just insane. Not even trying to make it romantic here, but the bond and respect these two have for each other is crazy.

Maybe it's the poetry of it all, too. Somebody like Zoro, who has looked at Death in her face multiple times and said "no", ending Sanji's life, who wants to give in to death to not experience a fate worse than death for him.

Seeing Finnie is such a blast from the past. Who here was around from the very beginning? Remember this?: Both drivers interacting on Twitter with fans and posting pics of picking up Sam and Cait from their respective apartments in Glasgow to drive them to set. SamCait shippers baiting the drivers into giving them info to try to prove Sam and Cait were a real couple. An OG shipper from the US going to Glasgow to try to get on set and Davie getting assigned to keep her away from Sam. I DMed with him back then and he told me the whole story. The drivers finally getting sick of shippers' shenanigans and turning on shippers. Shippers then turning on the drivers and taking it as far as trying to report them to Outlander production. Finnie dating a fan. And shippers getting into a fight with said fan because of shippers' harassment of Finnie when he confirmed Cait wasn't dating Sam. Finnie and the fan broke up and I don't think he's on social media anymore. At least not on his original account. Davie is still around on social media, of course.

What a ride for all of them all these years, no pun intended hahaha.

Outlander promos have started again which can only mean one thing: the Extreme Shippers are at it again. I just saw a long, idiotic post saying that because Sam called Cait an honorary Scot (a McBalfe), this proves they're really married. Another one said Cait can't be married to Tony (her actual, real husband and father of her son) because she's never said his name in public.

I've been seeing a bunch of people adding disclaimers to their billford posts clarifying that they have critical thinking skills about abuse and abusive relationships, and I 100% understand that impulse. When I first made this blog I added disclaimers like that onto nearly everything. But, if it makes the folks adding those disclaimers feel any better: after I stopped writing essays trying to prevent people from taking my billford posts in bad faith, absolutely no one got mad at me in my inbox or on any of my posts, and I've been posting about billford for years now. In my experience the majority of people who are uncomfy with this ship nowadays will simply block and move on. Some folks will disagree no matter how many disclaimers you add, and that's ok

Chapter 92: Just Can't Sleep

I like the 🥺 faces they're making here lol, and Momo teaching Mr. Mantis Shrimp how to do it better. That probably means she's tried it on Seiko enough times to know what works lol. I enjoy seeing Aira in the leader role, she and Okarun got to train with Turbo Granny, so now she needs to help the rest of the team level up.

There's also some love triangle drama in this chapter. I like how honest Jiji is with Momo, he does his best as her friend, but he just can't help falling in love with her. He may have some ulterior motives with his actions, but at the core, he just wants to be there for Momo.

I see people get mad when Jiji is open about his feelings for Momo, but why? That's just who he is, he's not coming in between your ship on purpose, he has his own feelings too. And people worried about Momo's reactions.... She's a teenage girl being touched by someone of a gender she's attracted to, of course she's gonna get shy, but that doesn't diminish her feelings for Okarun. The emotions depicted in these scenes are so real and people need to get over it. Ship your ships, but don't complain if the story doesn't go your way. That's what fanfiction is for lol.

This reductionist view ignores the Suriel's statement that mates are meant to be equals and instead focuses solely on Rhys's theory about producing strong offspring, which has been disproven by various examples such as Feyre and Nesta's inability to carry their mates' children and Thesan's desire for a mating bond with his same-sex partner.

The logical conclusion is that the mating bond serves a broader purpose beyond offspring production.

However, some insist on concluding that there are two kinds of mating bonds. Examining other examples from SJM, every mating bond in the CC series contributed to the downfall of the Asteri. From Theia and Aidas bringing Hel's forces during the rebellion, to Silene and her NC High Lord keeping the legend alive through storytelling that allowed Bryce to find the truth, to Baxian and Danika motivating the search for other worlds, to Bryce and Hunt and Ruhn and Lidia who ultimately killed the Asteri.

Furthermore, in Crescent City, there would have been more mates, yet Aidas emphasized the necessity of Bryce and Hunt being together to stop the Asteri. Despite this, it took the intervention of a higher being to make them mates, highlighting that even in such a complex scenario, fate played a decisive role.

The Asteri's manipulation to force a mating bond was limited to angels, as it served the purpose of producing more angels.

Yet, proponents of the "offspring mating bond" theory continue to insist that Elain and Lucien's bond exists solely for procreation, despite the deeper implications and fate-driven changes evident in other examples.
