Hi! I've been really enjoying your FEC stuff and I'm sorry if I just missed this (if you've already explained it) but I have a question. I was writing just a little bit about it (sorry if you don't want that, and if that's the case I'll just not post it!) but I couldn't quite figure out how the educating goes? Is it like classes or more just - if you walk into the animatronic's area, they will talk your ear off about x and answer any questions you have? I can see pros and cons for each, which is why I ask. And of course you may have thought of something completely different, too!

Either way, it's really an interesting concept! And I hope you don't mind me writing a little bit about it!

I haven’t said anything about it yet, actually! I was waffling a little on what to do, but the initial idea was a mix of the two.

Zones like Freddy’s and Chica’s, where they’re more about open concepts/areas, are more of a wander around and sometimes get jumped by an animatronic that knows too much!

For Sun and Moon’s zone, as well as Monty’s, they’re definitely more class-like (although Monty’s “class” roams his zone because he’s like that).

Roxy? She gets a mix: there’s classes scheduled for more involved things like building simple machines to take home (for a price, obviously), but she also roams to answer questions and correct parents who think they know everything.

Foxy’s zone was a lot more free roam than anyone else’s, but he still popped in to help clarify what was written on displays and direct activities when needed.

Bonnie’s zone was super structured (Business!!!) and had rotating classes with Bonnie. He didn’t do much roaming during active hours, when he was active.

I HAVE MORE FEC LORE BEFORE BED that I keep forgetting to write literally anywhere

FAZBEAR ADVENTURES is a fun, educational, animated TV show in the vein of the Wild Kratts (or Zoboomafoo, whichever Kratts strike your fancy better) where Freddy (and his friends, from the OGs to the Trash Gang) teach children about animals and the environment. Also science, sometimes, depending on the episode, subject matter, and Friend making a guest appearance.

Sun and Moon made their first public appearance on Fazbear adventures before they were actually finalized because you gotta make money out of those marketable plushies ASAP! Their designs in their early episodes are markedly different than the actual Sun and Moon that end up in the FEC.

They have plushes of their "alpha" designs displayed in their maintenance room :)

Sometimes they like to hang out and look at the stars from the massive windows in Freddy’s zone together. They might even help the fish boys get there so they aren’t stamp-stomping all the way. Wholesome :) also potential for angst :) but comfort! Have at it! (I like to think the stars are actually projected from inside the Center because of light pollution.)

Every zone has little introductory plaques for the animatronics. Most of them are at the start of zones in order to be read before getting jumped by one of them (hopefully) but the Oceanic Opportunities and Foxy’s Fishing Float plaques are placed deeper inside the zones because 1) the fish boys can’t get out to jump guests (so they think) and 2) Foxy… he like his ship and is only the worst to be jumped by after hours.

Fazbear Exploration Centers routinely swap out several of their displays. The only permanent fixtures in the main complex are: Freddy’s Forest Foray, Chica’s Culinary Cruise, Bonnie’s Business Booth, Foxy’s Fishing Float, and Oceanic Opportunities.

With two of the five permanent displays currently without animatronics backing the “interactive teaching-learning” aspect Fazbear’s prides itself on, Roxy’s Racing Revolution and Monty’s Mesozoic Maze are in the running for replacing the aforementioned two as permanent displays. Roxy and Monty have both proven to be well-liked and well-received enough to be trusted as new faces for the main FEC. Due to the up-to-date nature of Roxy’s industrial technologies on display and Monty’s fossilized timelessness, the two were determined to be of more interest than Bonnie and Foxy’s zones once the possibility of meeting Bonnie and Foxy is definitively removed.

Everyone knows what happened to Foxy. Nobody knows what happened to Bonnie.

Made some character FEC tags so you can peruse by character. “Explorer!(character)” for all of them except the Music men, who are DJMM, MM, and MMM for DJ, Music Man, and Mini Music Men respectively. Group posts should have “Explorer!Fazcrew” as a tag. Human/staff are under “FECfolk.”
