Film Federation of India Commits to Promoting Indian Cinema Worldwide
Mumbai: The executive committee of the Film Federation of India, the apex body of the Indian film industry, convened a powerful meeting where they unanimously resolved to intensify efforts towards promoting Indian cinema on a global scale.
Recognizing the need to showcase the strengths of Indian cinema to the world, the committee emphasized the importance of highlighting the vastness of the Indian film industry. “The whole world should know the magnitude of our cinema business, the multitude of films produced, and the diversity of languages represented. It’s crucial to underline that cinema is one of the largest employers of manpower and artists in our country,” stated Ravi Kottarakara the President of the Federation.
Dr. Sandeep Marwah, the Founder of Noida Film City, President of Marwah Studios, Chancellor of AAFT University, and President of the International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry, offered his extensive network and relationships spanning over 100 countries worldwide.
“We have reached out to three million individuals from 156 countries through film and culture tourism initiatives, with visitors experiencing the offerings of Marwah Studios at Noida Film City. Additionally, we have educated and trained students from 145 countries, and with government support, we have established 74 film and culture forums globally,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah, pledging his support to the Film Federation of India.
The collaboration between the Film Federation of India and Dr. Sandeep Marwah holds promise for further enhancing the international presence and recognition of Indian cinema.

AAFT is the biggest film body of Film Federation of India
New Delhi: We had the honor and privilege to design and start the fourth film city of India but first in North- Noida Film City way back in 1988. It has already been declared as the fastest growing film city of the World with 16 studios, 350 channels being broadcast to 162 countries 24×7, 17000 media professionals working here in 3 sifts of 8 hours each. The cascading effect is that around 150,000 people earn their bread directly and indirectly from this city,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah founder of Noida Film City & President of Marwah Studios while addressing the national executive meet of Film Federation of India-an apex body of Film & TV Business in India.
Marwah Studios is the first professional film studio of North India and we have churned out 4500 television programs, 5000 training films and been associated with 125 feature films in 9 different languages. My production company has made 3300 short films and given opportunity to 10,000 young film makers to come up in limelight,” added Dr. Marwah.
Our film School Asian Academy of Film and Television now has been rated as the first ten best film schools of the World. We have trained and educated 20,000 media professionals hailing from 145 countries of the World,” expressed Marwah.
Marwah Studios has been hub of film & Television activities. We have touched 7500 events so far including large number of film festivals around the year and been able to attract 3 million people from all over the Globe to Noida Film City under Film Tourism,” emphasized Dr. Marwah.
We are case study in 27 countries of the World and have been nominated by 66 different Governments of the World as their Cultural Ambassador to develop and promote relations through art and culture,” Dr. Marwah thanked the Chair for giving opportunity to speak to the house.

MSTV will Highlight Achievements of Film Federation of India
Mumbai: It was decided in the executive council meeting of FFI to project the achievements of members of FFI and the organisation- Film Federation of India, an apex body of Cinema business in the country.
“I propose 52 episodes of television program on MSTV online television station to highlight the achievements of the members of FFI and definitely the mother body Film Federation of India so that people of this country and abroad must realize the growth of Indian cinema. We need not to forget that India is the largest film producing country in the World,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios and member of the executive council of FFI.
President of FFI Firdausul Hasan, Secretary General Supran Sen, Vice President T.P. Agarwal, Vice President Sakshi Mehra, Vice President Hirachand Dand, Vice President Ramesh Tekwani, Hon. General Secretary Ravi Kottarakara, Hon. Treasurer Sangram Shirke and members of the executive council were also present there. Members appreciated the gesture extended by Sandeep Marwah.
The meeting was being attended by the members from Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Chennai, Hyderabad, Trivandrum, Bangalore, Sikkim and other places.

Film Federation of India Will Support 13th Global Film Festival Noida
Mumbai: FFI-Film Federation of India is the Apex body in Cinema and Television business in India, is going to support 13th Edition of Global Film Festival Noida 2020 scheduled for 26th to 28th of November. The festival, this time, is going to be online owing to pandemic.
Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios and AAFT proposed to the members of the governing council of FFI to join hands with this established film festival to make it much bigger with the support of Film Federation of India.
Global Film Festival has planned 12 major events in three days and shall be inviting many foreign filmmakers to share their experience to the film lovers and film students of India and abroad. “I extend my invitation to each and every member of Film Federation of India especially the members of management committee to please be our guests of honor in 13th GFFN. Your presence will enhance the value of the festival,” said Sandeep Marwah during the meeting.
