#BRO THIS IS WILD#SOMEONE WITH A PSYCH DEGREE PLEASE EXPLAIN#Like yes I know it’s the idea of ‘no physical contact’ and all that#But there’s something else#A certain vibe#Every word out of Wade’s mouth post-balloon scene is just…AGH#The scene with the hands#I thought I was gonna throw up#In a good way#And the freaking FIRE STICKS#HIM LIGHTING THEM#It was the ‘lucky’ comment though#That’s the one that did me in#Anyway I could go on for hours about how Ember’s reliance on Wade to physically and literally keep her alive as they pass under waterfalls#And her near nonchalantness toward actually doing so#Is representative of unspeakable levels of trust and protection that people underestimate in their everyday relationships#But this might turn into a little too much personal introspection if we go down that route#Anyway
