#Dracula Daily#Every time I see a meticulous well crafted breakdown of the horror of Dracula and why he's such a disturbing villain#I am struck with the realisation over taken a very different experience away from this book#rather than becoming invested in the protagonists and horrified by the villain#my experience was more akin to sitting on the sidelines with popcorn#Watching that freak undead old man do his off-putting freak shit#and yelling THAT'S MY WIFE! every time he did something horrible#and booing every time the protagonists got in a W#Like#I still did the media analysis I was just cheering for the wrong team.#because the 'wrong' team has a freak gross old man on it and he's delightful to me#sorry Jonathan#i see a compelling villian and i am compelled#The wizzard speaks
