I'm just... I realize Alan Grant had good intentions creating Anarky and writing Rite of Passage, but the road to hell is paved in those and Rite of Passage is HELL

It's horrible and racist and borderline fascist and I hate it so much.

I deserve financial compensation for this.

No one should be subjected to Rite of Passage.

#Allow me to give you a quick summary of why I hate it:#Every black person is either a criminal or incredibly naive and superstitious #Anarky (Lonnie Machin) is one of the villains and he spends his time stealing from rich people to #set up bank accounts for struggling farmers in poor nations #All while he's in Juvie for *checks notes* Leading a protest against the destruction of homeless people's tent city to make way for a bank #Grant I understand you were trying to make a sympathetic supervillain but oh my god how do you fuck it up that bad????#argothia's being weird again #(like narratively Lonnie is acknowledged as idealistically in the right. It's just his methods that are supposed to be wrong)#(his methods aren't even bad. Because Alan Grant didn't know how to write good social commentary)#(if Alan Grant were better at social commentary Lonnie would've been Robin not arrested)#And now I gotta rip out all the shit I hate and make an actually good story out of it
