From left to right: the Russian kokoshnik, the Kazakh saukele, and the Mongol boqtaq.

BTW boqtaqs and kokoshniks could be worn by both married women and brides, while saukeles are normally only worn by brides in their weddings.

Mongolian fashion brand Michel&Amazonka has unveiled their Lunar New Year collection. The brand is led by three siblings, with two sisters known as Michel and Amazonka (their government names are Янджиндулам and Ньямханд Чойгаалаа) being the designers and their brother (I think) being the company founder.

Молодожены Анатолий и Галина пришли на регистрацию брака в необычных нарядах. Их костюмы были сшиты в старорусском стиле.

Молодые супруги поделились с сотрудниками Департамента ЗАГС, что никакой цели не преследовали, и на формат свадьбы выбор внешнего вида никак не повлиял.
