She didn’t waste anytime. After doing her rounds and checking on the people she cared most about, she knew that she had to go see the most important one. Running to Ethan’s place, she disregarded keeping a low profile by pushing random people out of the way. And before long she was at his place. She felt so damn guilty for starting that fire, just knowing that people were in the hospital because of her was just another stone on her conscious scale, leaning more towards bad than good. And Alex was obviously more distant than ever and all she had to blame was herself. Running up the stairs she banged on Ethan’s door, praying that he was home and he was safe. But as he opened it, she couldn’t even let him get a word in before she wrapped her arms around him. “I’m so fucking glad you’re okay.”

Bellamy eyed the room, searching for the boy who she was partnered with. Not sparing the time for introductions, she spun him around. “Listen, you seem like a nice guy...really. But I’m getting fucking tired of these games. I would love to sit and chit chat about my darkest feelings, but I’m sure you don’t want to do that either.” She began to take off her dress, “So, I’m gonna go streak now. Are you joining or do I have to keep your secret too?”

As soon as Alex left for work, she kissed Maybelle goodbye and rushed out the door. She didn’t want to be there for another second. Her mind was rushing with horrible thoughts and her first instinct was to cry, but she couldn’t, she didn’t want to. But that didn’t stop them from prickling around her eyes. She ran down the streets of Brooklyn, down to Cains. And as much as she didn’t want to be there. As much as she HATED Cain. She needed to talk to him. She had to. Not Cain of course, but Ethan. She had fucked up her best friend’s relationship and she needed him. She was certain that he’d just slam the door on her face. Forgetting her coat at home, the cold wind blew harshly against her pale skin. “How could I be so stupid,” she muttered to herself, looking up at Cain’s apartment building. Her feet tracked her up the stairs and to his door, banging against it till Cain opened up. “Evie, I ––” she held up her hand, waving off the scottish man in front of her. “I need to talk to Ethan. Where’s Ethan. He’s the only one I will talk to,” she said, her red eyes painfully keeping back tears, not willing to look at this man for another second. “Go get him,” she told him, and Cain left with a nod, going to his door and knocking. “Ethan? Ethan, someone is here to see you,” he said against the wood paneling.
