Levihan Prompt!

What about Levi as a part-time Uber driver and Hange as a regular passenger?

(I'm on a Uber right now and thinking about levihan, so that's why lol)

Tapping the steering wheel with his fingers, Levi sat waiting for his next customer. It was his last one for the night and he was eager to go home, feeling the dark circles under his eyes growing more prominent with each passing second. He closed his eyes and yawned quietly, only to be startled a second later by a quick knock on the window. Steel blue eyes stared at him from outside, showing his phone to confirm that he was the correct passenger, the username Erwin_Smith lit brightly on his screen. He gave a friendly nod as Levi unlocked the doors.

“Come on, Hange. Are you okay?” the man asked as he assisted someone with him. The two clumsily entered the car, his friend falling on top of him, completely plastered. A mess.

Levi sighed, pushing a couple plastic bags at the blonde man.

“Here, in case your friend pukes or something.”

“Hey! My name’s Hange!!” they yelled, suddenly annoyed at Levi, their words slurring as they spilled from their mouth. They leaned up against his seat and placed their chin on his shoulder, frowning at him.

“Hange! Stop that!” Erwin yelled.

Levi sighed, he was used to getting inebriated passengers, but this one seemed to be quite the handful. He turned around to looked at her, his breath hitching for a second as he stared into their big, brown eyes glaring back at him—they were beautiful.

But Levi quickly came to his senses and returned the frown—“Go lean back on your friend before you throw up all over the place, there’s a fine if you do that yknow?”

And suddenly their expression changed drastically, now a huge smile on their face as they replied, “Okaaayyy Mr. Gloomy Driver, sir!” They did as Levi suggested, and leaned back on Erwin.

“Pfft, what a weirdo,” Levi thought as he faced forward and started the engine.

“Address?”

Erwin replied, “132 Scout Drive.”

Levi froze, causing Erwin to raise an eyebrow. “Is there... a problem?” he asked.

“Not at all. We should be there in 20 minutes.”

Levi yawned as he drove, the clock on the dashboard glowing 2:00 AM. The drive was pretty calm... until he began to hear whining.

“Why don’t you have any food in your fridge?!”

“Awww Erwin I was just so busy for today’s interview that I forgot to buy groceries!”

Erwin sighed. “Don’t worry, I can go back out to get you somethin—“

Erwin paused as Levi pulled up to a small, 24-hour mart. Shocked, Erwin and Hange were at a loss for words.

“No charge, don’t worry. Go get them some food or some shit,” Levi said, waving off both of their confused looks. He looked at the rear view mirror to see Erwin smile ever so slightly at him, and off he went to grab Hange something to eat.

Levi grimaced as he looked back into the mirror to see Hange smiling at him. He averted his eyes.

“Uhh, so interview?” he asked, trying to change the subject, his hands back on the steering wheel, looking forward to keep himself from staring into their eyes again. It made him nervous, and frankly, he didn’t know why.

“Ohhhhhhh!” they slurred. “I had an interview today, got the job!” they explained with a hiccup. “That’s why we were out, celebrating! Why you asking, clean freak?”

Levi spun around. “Who are you calling, clean freak??”

Hange leaned forward basically lying on top of Levi, eliciting a “Hey!” from him. They clearly had no understanding of “personal space”.

Wiping their index finger clumsily across the dash closest to where it met the window, they held their finger right between the both of them.

“Just as I suspected,” they squinted. “Spotless, right here where no one normal cleans at the end of the work week!”

Levi narrowed his eyes. “And am I to assume you’re the normal one around here?”

Hange laughed, “Nope! We’re just two abnormals sitting in a car!” Before he could question them any further, they leaned back into their seat as Erwin opened the door, smiling once again at Levi through the rear view mirror.

Once he heard that Erwin’s seatbelt was zipped and clicked securely, he drove ahead and eventually pulling up to their apartment complex, watching Hange wave back at him brightly as Erwin guided them along.

Levi lingered—what a strangely memorable meeting, he thought to himself. This job was a breeze, and it really was just that: new meetings with new people each day, dropping them off at their various destinations, encounters as fleeting as the occasional breeze on a hot summer day. But this... this was a whirlwind, feelings of annoyance and happiness billowing within him simultaneously as he let this whole experience reel again and again in his head.

And the craziest part was, he lived right here.

In the same apartment complex.

He continued to think about the last hour, Hange’s face ingrained into his mind—you can’t just look directly at the sun and not have spots of light linger in your vision afterwards.

After driving up the parking garage, he backed in neatly into his spot. Opening the back door with a click, he leaned over the spotless leather seats, doing a quick sweep in case any of his customers forgot something. And there sat a small piece of paper, with a message scratched drunkenly onto it.

“Hey Mr. Gloomy Driver, the apartment number is 126 if you ever wanted to give it a knock! I recognized the parking pass around your mirror!!”

Levi stared at the note, his jaw dropped, irritated as he found himself immediately thinking of some excuse to actually go up to their door to knock sometime.

But before he could shake it off and leave this encounter to the breeze just like all the others, there it was—as if fate gave him no choice but to see Hange again... or some shit like that.

Levi nearly smiled as he saw the pair of forgotten glasses left haphazardly on the seat.

If u guys were to adopt a pet what would it be? Something tells me Erwin is a dog person while Levi is more of a cat person, is that right?

it’s quite the opposite though! Levi finds dogs very loyal and well behave, whereas cats are more likely to cause a mess. And I heard somewhere that cat person tend to be intellectually curious so that seems pretty explainable for Erwin (or should I say -  “purr-win” XD)
