Rising Londoner Dreya Mac has provided us with visuals for her brand-new Fly-produced single, âUse Your Bodyâ. Dreya Mac has steadily been making a name for herself with her direct rap style but on her latest offering, she switches it up and adopts a more melodic approach to create an affectionate feel. Before making waves in the rap scene, Dreya was an established dancer and we get to see some of her moves in the Jean-Sebastien Degni-directed visuals. [via GRM Daily]

The baguette emoji is about to have its time in the spotlight on the back of Vayne's crisp new track 'Brand New Baguettes'. This is the first drop since Vayne's killer call out collaboration with Theia 'CREEP', and follows her 2020 debut EP Gutta Girl. Between the undeniable catchy chorus, 'Brand New Baguettes' features massive bars from Vayne and feature artist Zimbabwe / Auckland wunderkind Kid Rey, expertly tied together thanks to production finesse by LMC and Jai Beats. Vayne and Kid Rey hit the TÄmaki streets in the stunner 'Brand New Baguettes' clip, casually vibing with a Tesla, the sparkling Auckland skyline, and a set of outrageous, diamantĂ© encrusted nails. Angel Haze has shared new single âNever Seen,â the first taste of her upcoming EP, Girl with the Gun. On the track, the rapper unapologetically revels in her ego over a wobbling beat. âI am not the type of bitch/ To be appeased with all the average/ I got lots of codependents/ Ding ding whatâs the tab/ I been known to flip the digits/ Loose change turn to racks/ Put a nigga on the bench/ If he need time to reflect,â she raps before abruptly cutting the song off just past the 90-second mark. âI explore the territories of my voice, both in and outside my mind,â she said of the track in a statement. âI wanted to play with different tones and intertwine certain phrases to create a woozy, dreamlike impression. This song is my daydream of a life bigger than my eyes can hold. Iâm massive. Take it all in.â [via Consequence]
Making one major move after another this year, award-winning, certified artist, entrepreneur and actress Kash Doll serves up her new single âSingle & Happyâ feat. Wale & Eric Bellinger via Republic Records. Over a silky throwback beat produced by Dre Butterz and Sino 313, Kash Doll sets the tone with bold, braggadocious and blunt bars, while Eric Bellinger delivers a soulful refrain and Wale counters with a slick verse. The track instantly sizzles and simmersâlike everything Kash Doll does.
Atlanta rap force Mercury has shared her debut project MERCTAPE in full. Having just sold out her first hometown headline show Mercury is well and truly on the rise, with her expressive, highly creative processes re-framing club tropes in a personal way. An effervescent talent, she's recruited some fantastic underground production talent for her brand new mixtape. Out now, the seven track MERCTAPE is a dynamic, punchy introduction to a rapper who is moving in her own lane. Alongside this, she's shared a full video for her slick 454-producer 'CACTI' - shot by Richard Philip Smith, you can check it out below. [via Clash]

Rico Nastyâs debut album Nightmare Vacation is less than a year old, but lately, it feels as though sheâs already building up to its inevitable follow-up. Within the last two months, sheâs released a pair of polished singles, âMagicâ and âBuss,â and just weeks after releasing the video for the former, sheâs already back with a new video for âBuss.â The video brings plenty of visual flair to its rather plain concept, embellishing Ricoâs frantic performances with sizzling neon lights and sending bright bolts of vibrantly colored electricity shooting across the screen and around Ricoâs body. Whatever it is she happens to be working toward, it would appear to line up with the version of Rico first introduced on her candy-coated Sugar Trap mixtapes, returning to the synth-heavy, SoundCloud-friendly production style and cocky, straightforward raps she used to cross over in the first place â as opposed to the more experimental, hyperpop-laced material on her album. âDIRTY PLAYERâ: Yelich slams Machado after benches clear in Game 4
âDIRTY PLAYERâ: Yelich slams Machado after benches clear in Game 4 https://ift.tt/eA8V8J âDIRTY PLAYERâ: Yelich slams Machado after benches clear in Game 4
LOS ANGELES â Manny Machado has stepped into trouble again, causing at least one opponent to call him âa dirty player.â
Both benches cleared after the Los Angeles Dodgersâ star shortstop clipped the back leg of Milwaukee first baseman Jesus Aguilar while running out his groundout Tuesday night in the 10th inning of Game 4 of the NL Championship Series.
Aguilar left his foot on the base for a moment after Machado was already out, and the star shortstop appeared to show his displeasure by bringing his left foot forward and kicking Aguilar on the back of the leg.
The incident immediately took the top spot on the growing list of Machadoâs debatable decisions in baseball ethics.
VIDEO: @Dodgers SS Manny Machado executes one of the biggest bush league plays in baseball by pretending to trip over @Brewers 1B Jesus Aguilar's foot on a routine ground out. #NLCS pic.twitter.com/SCROQGnzdx
â Billy Krumb (@ClubhouseCancer) October 17, 2018
âHeâs a player that has a history of those types of incidents,â Milwaukee slugger Christian Yelich said. âOne time is an accident. Repeated over and over and over again, youâre just a dirty player. Itâs a dirty play by a dirty player, and thatâs what it is. I have a lot of respect for him as a player, but you canât respect someone who plays the game like that.â
Aguilar wasnât hurt, but he was angry. Dodgers first base coach George Lombard joined the discussion before players spilled onto the field from both benches and bullpens.
âI was trying to get over him and hit his foot,â Machado said. âIf thatâs dirty, thatâs dirty. I donât know. Call it what you want.â
Nothing happened beyond that spirited argument, and the two principals made up after Machado singled in the 13th inning. He briefly hugged Aguilar while they stood together at first base.
âWeâre family. Things happen,â said Machado, who scored the winning run moments later. âEverything that happens on the field stays on the field. Heâs a great guy. We go way back since the minor leagues. So itâs just a friendly game, go out, try and compete here. Weâre trying to win. Heâs trying to do whatever he can to help his team over there, and weâre doing the same over here.â
The rest of the Brewers didnât appear to be quite as forgiving. Infielder Travis Shaw also called it dirty, and Yelich followed up his postgame criticism of Machado by yelling a profane epithet as he walked away from his locker.
âThe play at first today is a pretty dirty play,â Shaw said. âItâs not a mistake. You donât kick somebody like that on accident. You can say it wasnât on purpose, this and that, but itâs a dirty play.
Just a few weeks before the 26-year-old Machado likely hits the open market as one of the most desirable free agents in baseball, the big-hitting shortstop has become the latest star to tread the well-worn line between fierce competitors and dirty players.
The four-time All-Star also caused controversy Monday in Game 3 with two hard slides into second base while shortstop Orlando Arcia attempted to turn double plays. The second one resulted in a double play for the Brewers after video review .
âItâs a beauty pageant,â Alex Rodriguez said on Fox Sportsâ postgame show. âYou have 30 owners (who) all want you right now. The whole world is watching baseball. You donât want four, five owners to sit around and say, âHey, did you see what Manny did? Did you see that? Oh, yeah, yeah, weâre out. We like him, but now weâre out.â Youâre losing tens of millions of dollars by the second if that becomes the narrative.â
Machado already had drawn the ire of ex-players and old-school baseball men from Jim Palmer to Eric Byrnes with his occasional lack of hustle. While Machado has been criticized for not running out grounders and making hustle plays over the years, he also showed heâs got plenty of pep when properly motivated: He sprinted from second to home on Cody Bellingerâs two-out single in the 13th, sticking out his left hand to touch home plate as he beat Yelichâs throw to the plate and slid past Erik Kratzâs tag.
Machado didnât run out a grounder in Game 2 of the NLCS , adding to the negative attention in this series. In an interview with Fox Sports 1 that aired before Game 4 , he acknowledged there was âno excuseâ for not making more effort â but also displayed an attitude that wonât endear him to the old school.
âIâm not the type of player thatâs going to be Johnny Hustle and run down the line and slide to first base,â Machado said. âThatâs just not my personality. Thatâs not my cup of tea. Thatâs not who I am.â
Machado attracted disdain early in the 2017 season with a hard slide into Boston second baseman Dustin Pedroia . Machado got his spikes into Pedroiaâs left ankle and knee as he slid over the base, and his Orioles had a testy relationship with the Red Sox for the rest of the season .
The Dodgers acquired Machado from Baltimore this season for their playoff push, and to replace injured shortstop Corey Seager. Machado had 37 homers and 107 RBIs in the regular season, and he batted .242 in the first eight games of the post-season.
After he got two hits in Game 3, Machadoâs frustration at the plate also probably played a role in his mood in Game 4. His groundout dropped him to 0 for 5 as the Dodgersâ cleanup hitter.

rBeatz Exclusive Interview with Benny Cassette
Benny Cassette signed with Kanyeâs Very G.O.O.D. Beats, a production wing to the Good Music label, back in 2013. The wing serves the label as a group of in-house producers. Benny has worked on Kanyeâs Yeezus album and with notable musicians such as John Legend, Eric Bellinger, Stacy Barthe, Elle Varner, Wynter Gordon, Allen Stone, the Band Perry, Lily Allen, Krewella and Sza. He has also collabed with Miguel and DJ Skee.
Cassette was exposed to a diverse local music scene growing up in Los Angeles, listening to N.W.A and the Beastie Boys. He grew up in a Latino neighborhood hearing the sounds of salsa, ranchero, and oldies. His father listened to jazz, and he rapped in a performance group in high school. He toured in  a veriety of locations while in high-school, including prisons.
We had the special opportunity to interview the producer below. You know the drill, press play on the Soundcloud embed and read the interview below for the FULL Benny Cassette experience. He recently came out with a redo to his first single off his upcoming album, Broken Hearts and Dollar Signs. The single reached #6 on Spotifyâs viral 50. His latest two singles, Maxine and Sunrise Sunset, are also unique. I can see the Latino neighborhood in him with Sunrise Sunset LOVE IT!
INTERVIEW
Where are you from and how has that shaped the musician you are today?
Iâm born and raised in Los Angeles. Itâs definitely shaped my music because I grew up in a multi-cultural neighborhood and was bussed to school, so I heard many types of music. Not only because on the bus I was always going thru different parts of LA, but in my own house, on the block, at school, really everywhere. This city is full of so much diversity that I really had no choice but to take it all in and now itâs part of who I am and my art.Â
What instruments did you play when you were younger?
I played nothing as a kid. I was busy doing graffiti and getting in trouble. I see guys that are crazy musicians and I was always think, man if I had just nerded out on an instrument as a kidâŠBut the fact I was out in the streets being crazy has shaped me in ways that sitting the house playing piano all summer wouldnât have.
Are there an instruments that you currently wish you COULD play?
Drums. I play the basics, but I would love to be a killer drummer.Â
Tell us the story of how you started creating music on your computer?
I was trying to find beats I liked and couldnât, so I sold my car and bought some gear to make music on. I was terrible but I fell in love with it quick and got to work.Â
What was your favorite studio moment when producing your newest two singles, Sunrise Sunset & Maxine?
Playing them for people in the studio as we worked on them and watching them dance around and get excited. Never gets old.
Who is one of your favorite artists to collab with and why?
Miguel. Weâve known each other since basically high school and to see childhood friends be successful and then get to collaborate with them is a blessing!
What is a typical day like as an in-house producer at GOOD Music?
No typical days, unless the bat phone rings or I have to go to the studio with the guys to work then  itâs a little crazy and can be a roller coaster. Iâm working on so many projects right now that everyday is different. But at the moment its about 14 hours in a studio somewhere 7 days a week.
What is your favorite genre to produce right now and why?
I wish I could say but I canât really put any of the music Iâm doing in a genre right now.Â
Who are your musical influences?
This week, itâs the Beatles.Â
Where do you think music (both popular genre and performance) is going next?
Itâs going to a place where there are no genres and no one will categorize music. Streaming is making everything accessible and shows and festivals are following that. Artists that normally donât go together performing next to each other. Itâs a new day!
Are you involved in any extracurricular activities?
Iâm part of the Bahaâi Faith so I spend outside time with that. I love to mentor as well. Getting ready for tour has been all about going to Crossfit every morning.
Do you have a key production tip for our young producers out there?
Find your own sound and voice. If you copy someone that is already doing it I can just go to them. Artists need producers that are specialists at something and can create a new sound with them. To be unique can be scary but in the long term itâs really the only way to have longevity. Trends come and go and with the trends plenty of artists and producers also do, but the ones creating their own lane last forever.
What is next for Benny Cassette?
World domination.
