I'll never get over episode 5, as heartbreaking as it is, it remains one of my favourites. For example, how protective Rio was of Agatha, especially when she stood up to her mom. Or how, when Evanora rushed at Rio, Agatha came down the stairs. And then when Evanora straight-up told Agatha she wished she’d killed her at birth—total opposite of what Agatha wanted with Nicky. It was something not even Death herself wanted to do. Still, she allowed their destined-to-be stillborn son, to live.. I'll never move on from them.

Episode 5 is Really Good. Like, idk if anyone's really complaining about it being filler but cmon, every show should get a beach episode and this is the Beach Episode of DDBA. We get so much golden moments

Matt and his normal guy blind shtick

Matt being a decent solicitor guy, who's also really good at dealing with people who's panicking. He's just so nice. We don't get to really see this when he's stressed in the main plot, ofc he's always nice, but it's the main thing to notice when it's not under the main plot of the show which is gritty dark vigilante bad politician stuff

CC overall has a nice voice that is very soothing and reassuring when he morphs into Matt Murdock

He's just so nice. That's why shit keeps happening to him

Not to mention the head tilt. My favorite thing. Very smort. Very clever handling of the not so smort robbers

This episode is like my dream filler episode for a vigilante/superhero story honestly. We need something without the pressure of the main plot. How the mc acts in a more relaxed situation (robbery in the vigilante world is normal, bet). Filler is not an insult idt

Plus who knows maybe we'll get Kamala and Yusuf relevant to the main plot. I don't have high hopes but who knows
