I know it's weird, but maybe you could put Malcolm Merlyn, Damien Darhk and Eobard Thawne?

Notorious villians all in their own rights who together formed the Legion of Doom. But do you like to see the three together romantically, see their scheming more platonically or rather not see the three together at all?
Thank you for the suggestion Anon and sorry it took so long to post.

Dc x Dp Prompt #20: Wishes of a Secret Romantic
Jason doesn’t really advertise it but he’s a romantic at heart. He craves having his own cliche romance with someone who will actually care about him. Sometimes he indulges in his fantasies by reading romance novels or setting up at-home dinner dates that he takes himself on. He often finds himself sighing and wishing he had someone to relate to, that would give him unconditional care and enjoy going on romantic dates with him.
~~~
Desiree doesn’t quite know how she ended up supervising this beautiful mess but she’s not complaining. If anything she has some sweet gossip to share at girls night and a story for Ghost Writer to obsess over.
~~~ It starts like this:
Ever since Frostbite had taken to teaching the young ghost boy lessons on the Realms Culture and Ghost Biology he’d made great strides in his diplomatic and medical skills. His fighting skills were already impressive but were refined under the tutelage of the warriors of Far Frozen. Personally, she thinks he is grooming the Boy to join the Council of Ancients which have taken a more active role in governance now that Pariah has been defeated for a second time.
The boy has been going around and creating treaties with his enemies in which he finds them another outlet for their obsessions. He has already worked out deals with the likes of Technus, Amorpho, and oddly enough a joint deal between Penelope Spectra and Walker.
Technus was allowed to indulge in his technological creation so long as he was supervised by the Pharoah boy or doing on of the preapproved tasks of mischief, such as causing mild inconvenience to the bastards in white.
He had set up Amorpho with a “Cosplay TikTok” on which he was able to show off his different forms and get recognition for them. He’d amassed a large following thespians and costume artists who greatly admired him.
Due to his position on the Council, the Boy managed to get Spectra and Walker to agree to take part in the new justice system the Council had been setting up. Walker could run his prison so long as he abided by the rules and scentence lengths set by the Council. And Spectra was free to torment those whom the council deemed the worthy of the worst punishments. Many ghosts had grievances against living and non-living menaces, last she heard, there was a whole list for Spectra to go down. Currently, she was in another universe tormenting a man named Eobard Thawne, who went by a ridiculous name called the Reverse Flash. Once she had her fill of torment, they would be taken to Walker’s prison.
The Ghostling continued to do this with many of his former adversaries until he came knocking at the door to her lair. She was well aware of what the GhostBoy would want, and was curious as to what he could offer her.
She granted him the grace of her presence and was charmed by his earnest nature. He genuinely wanted to know her story and obsessions so that he could find the best way to help her. She revealed to him it was not Desire as many people assumed but Fulfillment. She wanted to people to attain their desires in place of how she had been unable too. But there are consequences to wish granting so there’s only so much the Boy could do.
The ghostling had been unbelievable smug when he wished that her wishes wouldn’t have catastrophically negative outcomes. When she granted and skeptically tested this wish she found it had worked. The boy grew even more smug.
Of course balance had to be maintained so her power became not weaker per say, just more indirect. During their trial run, Desiree was granting the wish young boy had wished for a large cookie. Instead of instantly summoning a 50 foot tall cookie as she would have previously done, she simply caused his mother to have the desire to bake cookies and then had two of them fuse together in the oven creating one larger cookie.
A bit more round about than she prefers but it got the job done.
The two brokered a deal that would allow Desiree to travel into the mortal realm and grant the wishes she desired to, so long as the wouldn’t cause catastrophically negative outcomes in the future. Young Phantom had even gone as far as to direct her to the so-called Make-A-Wish foundation in which she could find many deserving children to fulfill the wishes of.
~~~
One night Desiree had been flying through the mortal realm to visit a friend, a city spirit she hadn’t seen in ages. As she flew over the city a strong sense of longing and desire resonated with her core. Where there was desire there was someone with a wish. Invisible, she flew down to the source of these feelings to investigate.
She ended up out side the window of a building that held longer traces of death and her friend’s magic. She peered through to see a young man putting the finishing touches on a lavish dinner. She observed as he created a beautiful meal with an air of melancholy before pouring himself a glass of wine and turning on his television to watch mediocre romantic comedies. Intrigued by this young man, Desiree decided to lurk and observe for a while, perhaps he would soon reveal the wish his heart yearned for?
-
Jason sighed into his Osso Bucco as another romantic comedy began to play. Man he really was bumming himself out wasn’t he. He shook his head and took a sip of his wine. He winced slightly as some cringey kids’ movie called How to Build A Better Boy appeared on screen. How had that even gotten in his queue? However, his laziness won out and he made no move to change it, resigning himself to a hour and a half or so of second-hand embarrassment and semi-decent acting.
As he watched the best friend girl make a virtual boyfriend based on her friend, the main girl’s, preferences and huffed to himself. Oh if only things could be that easy. He hummed to himself adding on his own thoughts to the teen girl’s rambling list.
“ If only, sister. I’d wish for a sensitive and sweet guy too. Someone who wouldn’t mind death jokes, or my odd hours. Someone who I could just relax and nerd out with. Someone who’d go on romantic dates with me so I wouldn’t have to sit here eating this nice dinner on my own. Yeah, I’d wish for my perfect guy too.”
Suddenly, a chill washed over Jason and his hair stood on edge. He whipped his head around in search for an intruder only to see nothing there. He scanned the apartment suspiciously before his eyes landed on an open window. He sighed, reassured it was just a draft and turned back to the movie.
~
Desiree was touched by the earnest desires of the young man who was touched by both death and her friend’s magic. It almost reminded her of her own desires for romance while she was still living. Perhaps she would stick around to see how this wish played out for the young man~?
~
This is so fucking funny actually.
The absolute dissonance between “oh man I can’t believe you guys messed up this bad!! Classic Barry/Hal moment” vs “My entire life was ruined. My family was torn apart. My friends and sister have no future left, and neither do I. My only goal is revenge” like!!!!!! Everyone here is awful it’s great
The JL trying to give Danny the classic “you don’t have to do this! You can change/we can help you!” speech while Danny’s been on his Eobard arc for the past 4 years of his life
The way that I’m brainrotting over a DCxDP crossover with a Danny who’s a vengeful villain rn
Like, let’s just say that the GiW finally get into contact with the JL. They need help neutralizing a threat, you see, and they’re on their last limb trying to keep civilians safe.
They have video evidence! They have studies to back their claims! The JL have to help them!
Unfortunately, the JL believe them. They join a fight against Danny, and defeat him due to being far more experienced than he is. Danny is locked away and experimented on by the GiW.
That would CHANGE a person. Your heroes turning against you and seeing you as a monster, being experimented on for who knows how long, not knowing if your friends and family are safe.
Danny gets out due to a simple mistake on the GiW’s part; having Blüdhaven as part of their transport route.
Of course the trucks were attacked, they’re government property!
So now, whoever decided to raid the government transport trucks (the Penguin or something) has a ton of experimental weapons with no idea how they work, and a heavily traumatized teenager.
Danny knows how they work. Danny can be useful! They won’t throw him out if he’s useful! And so, now Danny is working for the Penguin, altering the ectoplasm weapons to make them work on humans.
It’s a good deal for both parties. Danny gets to neurotically imprint on the Penguin like a small baby animal, and the Penguin gets a brilliant mind who will stop at nothing to achieve his goals.
But eventually, Danny finds out what happened to his family in his absence.
Jazz is in Arkham. Not as a psychologist, but as a “patient.” Apparently, she snapped and completely destroyed the house, leveled a few blocks of Amity Park, and conducted organized attacks on government bases (mostly GiW) for months.
Sam and Tucker helped her, eventually splitting once Jazz was captured. Sam travels to areas of extreme pollution, completely overgrowing them with her plant powers. Currently she’s in the Amazon rainforest, engaging in an ongoing feud with logging companies. Sam is winning.
Tucker faked his death, and Danny has no idea where he is. He only knows that the death wasn’t real because of a code that the three of them made together, just in case.
Ellie’s trapped in the Infinite Realms. Danny had a failsafe in place so that if she was ever cornered by the GiW, she would be sent to her haunt in the GZ. However, with the portal destroyed, she can’t come back. Danny just hopes she’s okay.
His parents are now top GiW scientists. They’re traveling the country giving speeches. They’re working on a battery powered by ectoplasm, but apparently started “having difficulties” around the same time that Danny escaped.
None of it is fair. None of it is right.
The Justice League destroyed his life, the lives of his friends, and they’re doing as good as ever. The GiW is respected, and his parents are happily working away for them.
Danny takes up some of his more experimental weapons and breaks Jazz out of Arkham. She’s a little different now, colder and more quiet, but she still loves him all the same. It’s an unimaginable comfort to him to see his sister again.
He can’t use his powers anymore. He’s so used to associating them with pain that even transforming into his ghost form is enough to take him down for hours.
However, he understands ectoplasm more than anyone else in the world. He knows how to use it in virtually everything; how it can become a weapon, how it can be used as a supplemental ingredient in poisons and nerve agents, how it can twist and distort the mind if applied correctly.
He doesn’t care what happens to him. He’s going to take down the GiW, and destroy the lives of the JL members who helped lock him away, just as they did to him.
No matter the cost.
#spook speaks#Eobard as in Thawne as in reverse flash btw#also the justification I was using was that the capture happened while Jason was still on his beginning Red Hood shit#and had just done that stunt with the tower#so Bruce knew his son was Somehow back but also had come back Wrong somehow#and with that bias + the extreme stress he was under he made the wrong call#but this is. so much fucking funnier I’m losing it#the JL having just another day at the office while Danny is in a power stance Kubrick staring at the Wayne manor
Masterlist
You really needed to stop staring at him.
But how could you, when he kept doing that?
Harrison Wells—or rather, Eobard Thawne, hidden behind that brilliant, calculating façade—sat behind his desk, his electric wheelchair angled slightly as if to put the room beneath his command. His brow furrowed, eyes distant, lips set in that maddening way they always did when he was spinning the web of his next scheme.
And then it happened again.
His hand rose almost absent-mindedly, fingers brushing his lower lip. It was the lightest, most fleeting touch—a thoughtless gesture, like he wasn’t even aware he was doing it. But you were. Oh, you were.
It wasn’t the first time you’d caught him in this unconscious habit. It wasn’t even the second or third time. And yet, every single time, it hit you like a lightning bolt, leaving you breathless, warm, and thoroughly annoyed with yourself.
How could something so simple, so innocent, feel like it had been designed to unravel you?
"Y/N?"
Barry’s voice cut through your spiraling thoughts, snapping you back to reality. You blinked, heat creeping up your neck as you realized you’d been zoning out again—your eyes locked on Harrison like he was the only thing in the room.
“Huh?” you replied, feigning innocence, but Barry’s expression told you he wasn’t buying it. His gaze flicked from you to Harrison and then back again, one eyebrow raised in silent suspicion.
“Are you okay? You’ve been staring at him for like… a while.”
“I have not,” you said quickly, too quickly.
Barry’s mouth twitched, and the corner of his lips curled upward. “You totally were—”
“Nope!” you interrupted, your voice a little too loud. Heat flared in your cheeks, and you quickly turned away, suddenly very interested in the files on your desk. “Just thinking. About… stuff.”
Barry squinted at you, not even pretending to believe your excuse. But, mercifully, he didn’t press further, muttering something under his breath about people being “weird today.”
Unfortunately, the damage was done. Your concentration was shot. Not that it had been much better before Barry interrupted.
You could feel Harrison’s presence like a gravitational pull, your eyes sneaking back to him before you could stop yourself. And there he was again—still deep in thought, still playing absent-mindedly with his lip as though it wasn’t driving you insane.
Your hand clenched into a fist beneath the desk. This was getting ridiculous.
He had to know. Didn’t he? He was too perceptive, too cunning not to notice the way your gaze lingered, the way your breathing hitched every time he did that. Maybe this was just another way he toyed with people—his intellect and his physicality working in tandem to unravel you piece by piece.
Or maybe it was you. Maybe you were the one reading into things, projecting feelings you shouldn’t have onto moments that probably meant nothing to him at all.
Either way, you couldn’t keep going like this. You had to put an end to it before you lost what was left of your sanity.
Before you could talk yourself out of it, you stood, the chair scraping back noisily against the floor. Barry glanced at you, startled, but you didn’t give him a chance to say anything. Your focus was locked on Harrison.
“Harrison,” you said, louder than intended, but your voice didn’t waver.
He looked up, surprised. His brow unfurrowed, and for a moment, he regarded you with that piercing gaze that seemed to strip you bare. “Yes?”
Your heart thundered in your chest as you crossed the room in a few determined strides. You didn’t give yourself time to overthink, didn’t let doubt creep in.
You bent down to his level, your face inches from his, and before he could say another word, your lips were on his.
The kiss was sudden and rough, all heat and desperation. For a moment, he froze—shocked, caught off guard. But then his hands were on you, gripping your waist as he pulled you closer, deepening the kiss until you were practically breathless.
It wasn’t just a kiss; it was a collision, a meeting of two forces that had been simmering for far too long. His lips moved with a deliberate hunger, and the low sound he made in his throat sent shivers down your spine.
When you finally pulled back, gasping for air, you were met with the sight of Harrison Wells—no, Eobard Thawne—looking more human than you’d ever seen him. His lips were slightly parted, his breathing uneven, and his eyes… his eyes burned with something primal, something that made your pulse race all over again.
Barry’s strangled voice from the corner of the room broke the moment.
“Uh, what the hell just happened?” he finally managed, looking between the two of you like he’d stumbled into the wrong room entirely.
You let out a small, breathless laugh, your hand still resting lightly on Harrison’s shoulder, his gaze never leaving yours. “Just something I needed to get out of my system,” you said, voice steady despite the whirlwind inside you.
Harrison’s lips curved into a slow, almost predatory smile. The kind that made your stomach flip and your knees wobble a little more than you’d like to admit. “Is that so?” he murmured, his tone lower now, almost a purr.
Your fingers brushed his shoulder as you stepped back, creating some much-needed space, though you could feel his presence as though he were still holding you. You shrugged, trying to seem casual despite the blush still creeping up your neck. “It was getting hard to focus,” you said simply, a small smirk tugging at your lips.
Barry groaned, loud and dramatic, throwing his hands in the air. “Oh my god, I’m leaving. You two are ridiculous.” He spun on his heel, muttering something about never being able to unsee this as he stormed out of the room.
Once Barry was gone, the room felt electric, charged with something unspoken. Harrison’s gaze never wavered from yours, his lips still faintly parted, as though tasting the remnants of your kiss.
“You’re bold,” he murmured, his voice low and edged with something darker. He rose from the desk, his towering presence making your breath hitch. “But I wonder… is that all you needed to get out of your system?”
His question was a challenge—a dare. And you weren’t about to back down.
You stepped closer, the heat between you nearly suffocating. “Why? Were you hoping for more?”
A flicker of a smirk danced across his lips. “Always.”
Before you could process his words, he extended a hand toward you, palm open, an invitation you couldn’t refuse. Tentatively, you placed your hand in his, only for him to pull you forward with a suddenness that made you gasp. The motion sent you stumbling onto his lap, a surprised laugh slipping from your lips as you caught yourself against his shoulders.
“Well, aren’t you full of surprises,” you teased, breathless and already feeling the warmth of him against you.
“Me?” His smirk widened as his hands found your waist, steadying you in place like you belonged there. “I’m not the one who started this.”
Before you could reply, he leaned in and kissed you again, stealing the words right off your lips. This kiss was deeper, more confident, and it set your pulse racing. His fingers dug into your sides just enough to anchor you as your hands found their way into his hair, tangling in the soft strands. The kiss wasn’t just heat—it was hunger, as though he’d been waiting for this moment as long as you had.
When he finally pulled back, leaving you breathless, he didn’t let go. Instead, his eyes locked onto yours, filled with a mischievous glint. “So,” he drawled, his voice low and teasing, “you’ve been dreaming about my lips, haven’t you?”
Your cheeks burned at the accusation, but you weren’t about to let him win that easily. “Your lips?” you replied, leaning in until your nose brushed his. “I’ve been dreaming about all of you.”
His laugh was soft, a low rumble in his chest that you felt more than heard. “Careful,” he murmured, his lips grazing the shell of your ear. “If you keep saying things like that, I might not let you go.”
“And what makes you think I’d want you to?” you shot back, your confidence emboldened by the way his breath hitched at your words.
The hand on your waist slid higher, tracing the curve of your back as his lips found your neck, pressing soft, deliberate kisses that made you arch against him.
"Okay, that's it," he said, his voice firm with resolve.
Before you could process what he meant, his hand moved to the control of his wheelchair, and in one swift motion, he started driving you both out of the Cortex. Your breath hitched, half from the thrill of not knowing where he was taking you or what he planned to do, and half from the absurdity of the situation. The hum of the motor filled the silence, but your mind raced louder.
You tried, really tried, to stifle your giddy excitement—the thrill of being dragged away by him was intoxicating—but it wasn’t working. The corners of your mouth twitched upward despite your best efforts to keep your composure.
As you rolled down the hallway together, the moment you passed Cisco and Caitlin was the tipping point. Both of them froze mid-step, their eyes going comically wide. Caitlin’s jaw dropped, while Cisco’s face twisted in a mix of disbelief and barely contained amusement. Their reactions were too much to handle, and you burst into laughter, the sound echoing down the corridor.
“Oh my god,” Caitlin whispered, blinking rapidly as if trying to convince herself she wasn’t hallucinating.
“Wait, wait, wait—this is real?” Cisco stammered, pointing between the two of you like he needed a second opinion.
From somewhere in the back of the lab, Barry’s exasperated voice rang out, loud enough to cut through the commotion. “I told you! I told you this was happening, but nooo, you didn’t believe me!”
Your laughter doubled, tears threatening to spill as you caught sight of the sheer disbelief plastered across Cisco and Caitlin’s faces. Harrison didn’t so much as glance their way, his focus resolute as he maneuvered through the hall with you still perched in his lap, a picture of smug determination.
“Where are you taking me?” you finally managed to ask through your laughter, wiping at your eyes.
He glanced up at you, his expression unreadable except for the tiniest quirk of a smirk tugging at his lips. “Somewhere we can finish what you started without an audience.”
Your laughter caught in your throat, replaced by a blush that spread across your cheeks like wildfire. Whatever he had in mind, you had a feeling it was going to be unforgettable.
The wheelchair came to an abrupt stop as he reached the door of a small storage room tucked away in the hallway. Before you could question him, Harrison stood up in one swift, confident motion, pulling you up with him. His secret would be safe here.
He kicked the door shut behind you, locking it with a decisive click that sent a thrill coursing through your veins.
And then he was on you.
His lips crashed against yours with a fiery intensity, his hands cupping your face as though you might slip away if he didn’t hold you steady. The sheer force of his need left you breathless, and you barely noticed him guiding you backward until your back hit the wall. His body pressed against yours, caging you in with a heat that made your head spin.
“The fact is…” he murmured between fervent kisses, his lips brushing yours as he spoke. “I’ve been staring too.”
“Oh?” you managed, your voice barely above a whisper. Your hands clutched at his shirt, desperate for something to hold onto as his lips moved lower, tracing the curve of your jaw and finding the sensitive skin of your neck.
A soft gasp escaped you as he peppered kisses there, his stubble grazing your skin just enough to drive you wild. “I’m not the only one with a maddening habit,” he teased, his breath warm against your neck, sending shivers through your entire body.
“Is that so?” you replied, a small smile tugging at your lips despite the haze clouding your thoughts. Your words mirrored his from earlier, and you could feel his smirk against your skin in response.
His hands slid down to your waist, gripping you firmly as his lips returned to yours, leaving no room for doubt in his kiss. It wasn’t just desire—it was control, frustration, and something deeper, as though he’d been holding himself back for far too long. You melted into him, your fingers slipping into his hair, pulling him closer, your mind reeling at how completely he consumed you.
Harrison’s hands slipped to the hem of your shirt, tugging it upward as his lips hovered just a breath away from yours. His movements were deliberate, each touch filled with purpose, as though he was savoring every moment. You lifted your arms, letting him pull the fabric over your head and toss it aside without a second thought.
His lips quirked into a wicked smirk as his fingers brushed over your bare shoulders, leaving a trail of fire in their wake. “Yes,” he murmured, leaning closer, his breath warm against your ear. “The way you bite your lip when you’re thinking… like you don’t realize how distracting it is.”
Your breath hitched as his hands slid to your waist, his thumbs brushing the bare skin just above your waistband. “I didn’t realize you noticed.”
“Oh, I notice,” he said, his voice a dark promise. He traced his fingers along the curve of your hips, his touch light but possessive. “Just like I notice the way you play with that strand of hair when you’re nervous. Do you have any idea how hard it is to focus when you do that?”
His words sent a thrill through you, your skin heating under his gaze as he reached for the button of your jeans, undoing it with ease. The zipper followed, the sound deafening in the charged silence of the room. He pushed them down slowly, his fingers brushing your thighs as he knelt before you to guide them off.
“And then there’s the way you laugh,” he continued, his voice growing huskier as his eyes trailed up your legs, drinking you in. “It’s like a spark—one that catches and burns until I can’t think about anything else.”
“Harrison…” you breathed, his name barely audible as he rose to his full height again, his hands finding your hips and pulling you flush against him.
“And don’t get me started,” he murmured, his lips brushing the hollow of your throat, “on the way you look at me when you think I’m not paying attention. That look is enough to undo me.”
You shivered under his touch, your head falling back against the wall as his lips left a trail of heat down your neck. His hands reached behind you, deftly unclasping your bra and sliding the straps down your arms with agonizing slowness.
His hands lingered at your shoulders after sliding your bra free, his thumbs brushing your bare skin as if testing your reaction. The air felt heavy, charged with anticipation, and you couldn’t suppress the shiver that ran through you as his lips found the curve of your neck again, pressing hot, open-mouthed kisses that left you breathless.
“You’re incredible,” he murmured against your skin, his voice a low rumble that sent heat pooling deep within you. His hands slid down, fingertips ghosting over the curve of your waist before finding your breasts. His palms were warm, firm yet gentle, as he cupped them, his thumbs brushing over your sensitive peaks. The soft gasp that escaped you made him chuckle darkly, his lips curling into a smile against your collarbone.
“You’re so responsive,” he said, almost to himself, his lips traveling lower. He took his time, savoring every reaction he pulled from you as he kissed a slow path down the center of your chest. When his mouth finally closed over one peak, his tongue flicking over the sensitive skin, a moan slipped past your lips, your hands tangling in his hair to hold him closer.
He teased you relentlessly, alternating between gentle caresses and the scrape of his teeth, while his free hand traced lazy circles along your ribs and abdomen. Each touch felt calculated, deliberate, as though he wanted to drive you to the edge of madness. His lips moved lower, his tongue tracing patterns over your skin, leaving a trail of heat in his wake.
When his hand finally slid down to the waistband of your panties, your breath caught. His fingers toyed with the delicate fabric, skimming the edge in a maddeningly slow tease. His lips were at your hip now, planting kisses just above where you ached for him most.
“Tell me,” he murmured, his voice rough, his breath hot against your skin. “Tell me how much you want this.”
Your head tilted back against the wall, a soft whimper escaping you. “Harrison, please…”
He smirked against your skin, clearly pleased with the desperation in your voice. His fingers slipped beneath the waistband, brushing over your most sensitive spot in a feather-light touch that made your knees go weak.
“Good,” he said, his voice dark with satisfaction as he continued his slow, torturous exploration. “Because I’m just getting started.”
Harrison—or rather, Eobard—continued his slow, deliberate teasing, his touch leaving you trembling with need. But the unfairness of it, the imbalance, made you stir against him, your hands moving to the hem of his tee-shirt.
Eobard continued his relentless teasing, driving you to the brink of madness with each deliberate touch. You clung to him, desperate for more, but the sight of him still fully dressed only amplified your frustration.
“This isn’t fair,” you murmured, breathless as your hands fisted in the fabric of his dark tee shirt. “You’re wearing too much.”
He smirked, his eyes glinting with amusement. “Then do something about it.”
You didn’t need to be told twice. Your fingers curled around the hem of his shirt, and you tugged it upward, revealing the taut muscles of his abdomen and chest. He lifted his arms to help you pull it over his head, and the moment it was discarded to the floor, your hands were on him.
Your palms explored every inch of his exposed skin, tracing the hard planes of his chest, the soft curve of his collarbone, and the ripple of muscles beneath his smooth, warm skin. He shivered beneath your touch, his breath hitching as you ran your fingers down his stomach, teasing the line that disappeared into the waistband of his pants.
“You’re so perfect,” you whispered, your voice barely audible over the sound of your heart pounding in your chest. Your lips followed your hands, pressing soft kisses along his neck and down his chest, reveling in the way his body responded to your every touch.
When you reached his waistband, you tugged at the button of his pants, undoing it slowly, savoring the moment. He let out a soft groan, his patience clearly wearing thin, but he didn’t stop you. You slid the zipper down and pushed the fabric over his hips, letting it fall to the floor. He stepped out of his pants, now left in just his briefs, the sight of him stealing your breath.
You reached out, your hand brushing over the hardness straining against the fabric. He groaned, his hands tightening on your hips as you palmed him, the friction making him tremble beneath your touch.
“You’re testing my limits,” he rasped, his voice rough and heavy with need.
“Good,” you teased, slipping your fingers beneath the waistband and tugging his briefs down. He stood bare before you, and the sheer power and vulnerability in that moment left you aching for him.
But he didn’t let you linger for long. In an instant, he lifted you, pressing your back firmly against the wall. Your panties were gone in a heartbeat, his hands steadying your thighs as he positioned himself at your entrance. He gripped himself, dragging the head of his arousal along your wetness, teasing you in a way that made you moan softly, your head falling back against the wall.
“Say my name,” he commanded, his voice low and filled with authority.
“Harrison,” you breathed, your body trembling with anticipation as he pressed the tip against you but didn’t push in.
A growl rumbled deep in his chest, his eyes blazing. “My real name.”
You opened your eyes, meeting his intense gaze, your breath catching as you whispered the name that felt forbidden yet so right. “Eobard,” you moaned, your voice trembling with desire and surrender.
At that, he thrust into you in one smooth, deliberate motion, burying himself completely. The stretch was perfect, a delicious mix of fullness and fire that left you gasping for air. He groaned, his head falling to the crook of your neck as he held still for a moment, letting you adjust, savoring the way you fit around him.
“Good girl,” he murmured against your skin before pulling back and driving into you again, each thrust deliberate, each movement sending waves of pleasure coursing through you. His name fell from your lips like a prayer, and in that moment, there was nothing else but the two of you.
Eobard’s hands gripped your thighs tightly, his fingers pressing into your skin as he held you against the cold, unforgiving wall of the storage room. The contrast of his warmth and the cool surface behind you only heightened the sensations coursing through your body. His thrusts were slow at first, deliberate, as if he wanted to savor every second, every reaction he pulled from you.
Your legs wrapped around his waist instinctively, your heels digging into the small of his back, urging him deeper. His breath came hot and ragged against your neck, each exhale brushing over the sensitive skin there, sending shivers down your spine. The sound of your bodies moving together—the wetness, the rhythm of his hips meeting yours—echoed in the small room, mingling with the soft creak of a nearby shelf.
The stretch of him inside you was exquisite, every thrust brushing against a spot that made your toes curl and your nails dig into his shoulders. You clung to him, your hands roaming over the hard muscles of his back, feeling them flex with each movement. The raw strength in the way he held you, lifting and pinning you so effortlessly, left you breathless.
“Eobard,” you moaned again, his name falling from your lips like a mantra, each syllable laced with desire.
“Say it again,” he growled, his teeth grazing your earlobe as he drove into you harder, his pace quickening. His voice was rough, commanding, yet there was a desperation to it—a need for you to give yourself to him completely.
“Eobard,” you whimpered, your head falling back against the wall, exposing your neck to him. He took advantage, his lips and tongue trailing down to the hollow of your throat, tasting the salt of your skin. His teeth scraped lightly, and the sharp sensation made you cry out, your walls clenching around him.
“You feel incredible,” he murmured, his voice thick with pleasure as his hands shifted, one sliding up to cup your breast, his thumb brushing over the hardened peak. The other remained at your hip, gripping you tightly to guide your movements, grinding you against him in a way that made you see stars.
The shelves behind him rattled slightly with each thrust, the vibrations sending supplies clattering against each other. A box tipped over and spilled its contents onto the floor, but neither of you cared. The chaos of the room only added to the urgency, the primal need consuming you both.
Your hands tangled in his hair, tugging just enough to make him groan, the sound deep and guttural. His hips snapped against yours with more force now, each movement precise and unrelenting. You could feel every inch of him sliding in and out of you, the pressure building with each thrust, coiling tight in your core.
“Look at me,” he demanded, his voice low but insistent. You forced your eyes open, meeting his gaze. His pupils were blown wide, his expression a mix of raw hunger and unspoken emotion that made your breath catch.
The intensity of his gaze paired with the way his body moved against yours sent you over the edge. Your walls clenched around him as a wave of pleasure crashed through you, your cries echoing in the cramped space. He groaned loudly, his hips faltering for a moment as your release rippled around him.
“Good girl,” he murmured, his voice strained as he buried himself deep inside you.
As the waves of your climax began to subside, your body trembled in his arms, your breathing ragged. Eobard held you close for a moment, his hands firm on your thighs, grounding you as you came down from the high. Slowly, he eased out of you, his movements careful, though the smoldering hunger in his eyes told you he wasn’t done.
Before you could steady yourself, he gently set you back onto your feet, his strong hands holding your waist to make sure you didn’t falter.
“Turn around,” he said, his voice low and commanding.
You obeyed without hesitation, your legs still weak as you faced away from him. His hands gripped your hips, guiding you forward until you were pressed against a sturdy wooden shelf, its surface cluttered with storage containers and loose tools. The edge of the shelf bit into your thighs as he leaned into you, his breath hot against your ear.
“I’m not finished with you yet,” he murmured, his hands sliding over your back, pressing you down until your chest rested against the shelf.
The position left you exposed, vulnerable, and it sent a thrill coursing through you. His hands moved to your hips, gripping firmly as he positioned himself behind you. You felt the hardness of him brush against your entrance again, teasing, sending a jolt of anticipation through your already-sensitive body.
“Eobard…” you whispered, the sound of his name a soft plea.
He chuckled darkly, his hands sliding over your hips and lower back in a possessive caress. “You’re impatient,” he teased, his voice dripping with amusement, though the tension in his touch betrayed his own urgency.
Without another word, he slid into you again, the angle and depth making you gasp as he filled you completely. He stilled for just a moment, letting you adjust, before pulling back and thrusting into you again. The sound of his body meeting yours echoed in the small room, each movement sending the clutter on the shelf rattling.
His pace was relentless this time, each thrust harder and deeper than the last, his hands gripping your hips tightly as he pulled you back to meet him. The rough wood of the shelf pressed into your skin, but the pleasure overwhelmed everything else, leaving you breathless and desperate for more.
“You’re perfect like this,” he groaned, his voice thick with desire as he leaned over you, his chest brushing your back. One hand slid up your spine, tangling in your hair, tugging gently to arch your neck back. His lips found the curve of your shoulder, biting lightly before soothing the spot with his tongue.
You moaned his name, the sound broken and raw, and he growled in response, the vibrations sending shivers down your spine. “Say it again,” he demanded, his voice rough and possessive.
“Eobard,” you whimpered, your body tightening around him as he drove you closer to the edge again.
“That’s my girl,” he rasped, his pace quickening, his grip on you unrelenting as he chased both of your releases. The sound of your moans, his groans, and the rhythmic slap of skin against skin filled the air, driving you both higher.
Your hands clutched at the edge of the shelf, desperate for something to hold onto as the pressure built again, your body trembling under his relentless pace. When you finally tumbled over the edge, his name tore from your lips in a cry, your body shaking as your climax consumed you once more.
The way you clenched around him sent him spiraling, his movements becoming erratic as he groaned your name, burying himself deep inside you one last time. His body tensed, his release spilling into you as he pressed his forehead to your shoulder, both of you panting and utterly spent.
For a moment, the room was silent save for your ragged breaths, the tension between you now replaced by a shared, sated warmth. His hands softened on your hips, stroking your skin tenderly as he straightened, pulling you gently against his chest.
The warmth of his breath tickled your ear as he leaned closer, his lips brushing the shell softly.
“If I knew you’d react like that,” you said, breaking the silence with a breathy laugh, “I would’ve kissed you a long time ago.”
Eobard chuckled low in his throat, the sound vibrating against your skin. “Careful,” he murmured, his voice teasing but still rough from exertion. “You might tempt me into forgetting we have to go back.”
You turned in his arms, a playful smile on your lips as your fingers traced his jaw. “You’re the one who pulled me in here.”
“And I don’t regret it for a second,” he said, his gaze softening, the intensity from earlier now replaced with something more intimate. He kissed you one last time, slow and deep, as if trying to make the moment last a little longer.
But eventually, reality crept back in. With a reluctant sigh, the two of you began dressing, the storage room now littered with discarded clothes and scattered supplies that you were too sated to care about. Eobard pulled on his dark t-shirt, the fabric stretching over his still-heated skin, while you fixed your own disheveled appearance, smoothing your hair and adjusting your clothes.
As he sat back into his wheelchair, the transformation was almost seamless. His shoulders hunched slightly, his movements carefully calculated as he adjusted the controls, once again slipping into the façade of Harrison Wells. You watched him, marveling at how effortlessly he stepped back into his role, though the heat in his gaze when he looked at you told you the truth.
“You ready?” he asked, his tone casual, but the corner of his mouth twitched upward in a private smirk that made your cheeks flush all over again.
“Not really,” you admitted with a small laugh. “But let’s do this.”
The two of you left the storage room, the door closing behind you with a soft click. As you walked beside him down the hallway, the sound of your heels and the hum of the wheelchair filled the air. Your pulse quickened slightly when you neared the Cortex, the reality of facing the team hitting you.
When you stepped into the room, all movement seemed to stop. Barry, Cisco, and Caitlin were frozen in place, their eyes flicking between you and Eobard. It was impossible to miss the signs: your flushed cheeks, his slightly tousled hair, and the lingering heat that practically radiated between you.
Cisco’s eyebrows shot up, his mouth opening slightly as if to say something, but a sharp glance from Caitlin stopped him in his tracks. Barry’s expression was somewhere between knowing and awkward, his lips pressed tightly together as if physically restraining himself from commenting.
The silence hung heavy for a moment, the team’s expressions screaming what they wouldn’t dare say out loud.
Eobard, ever composed, cleared his throat, his voice as smooth and controlled as ever. “Shall we get back to work?” he said, his tone betraying no hint of what had just happened. His hands moved deftly on the controls of his wheelchair, rolling toward the center of the room as though nothing had occurred.
You followed, your heart pounding but your expression steady. You could feel the team’s eyes on you, burning with unspoken questions, but no one dared to voice them. You took your seat, pointedly avoiding Barry’s gaze as he shook his head slightly, muttering something under his breath that you chose to ignore.
The Cortex buzzed with awkward silence for a moment longer before Cisco finally turned back to his workstation with an exaggerated cough, muttering, “Well, this is… normal. Totally normal.”
Despite the heat still lingering in your cheeks, you couldn’t help the small, satisfied smile that tugged at your lips as you exchanged a subtle glance with Eobard. Whatever suspicions the team had, they wouldn’t dare confront the man they believed to be Harrison Wells—not directly.
And that was perfectly fine by you.
Do you really think reverse flash is in love with Barry? I don't mean for this to sound snarky I'm just confused. Thawne killed Barry's mom how can you say he's in love with him? I like all the things you post and rb about them I really enjoy the ship. I just don't get it can you explain?
The question "how can Eobard be in love with Barry if he hurt him" has both a short answer and a long answer. The short answer is that people are very much capable of hurting the ones they love, on purpose or by accident.
The long answer is that Eobard is a deeply disturbed individual who has never been the recipient of love, and because of that and of many extremely traumatic events (including but not limited to being brainwashed in prison, being trapped in a timeless limbo alone for years, being tortured and treated like cattle and put in sensory deprivation for ludicrous amounts of time, dying at the hands of the only person who had ever shown compassion towards him), he has a skewed perception of a lot of things and is extremely bad at emotional regulation.
Moreover, and this is something which is easy to overlook but it's actually very important, Eobard is not human. His actions are informed by his traumas, but the way he approaches pretty much everything (including his "problems" with Barry) isn't done the way a human would.
Eobard is a timeless, deathless creature which embodies one of the driving forces of reality itself (the Negative Speed Force). He lived probably more than a few hundred years considering how he keeps running around through time doing stuff, and how he keeps going back to watch past events and adjust the way he will interact with the timeline next.
He knows the huge impact that killing Nora will have on Barry, but from a moral and ethical standpoint it's not a big deal for him. Nora is less than a speck in time, an NPC who served her role for that briefest moment in which she existed. She is a big deal because she is a big deal for Barry, not because she's meaningful in any other way.
"But then he did want to hurt Barry when he killed her" Yes, absolutely he wanted to. Eobard didn't "just" kill Nora Allen - he went back in time and changed everything about Barry's life, made it so he had no friends, made him grow isolated and insecure and shy, lacking confident in his abilities. And he did it because he is very, VERY angry with Barry for one, and also because isolating Barry makes it easier for them to grow closer.
And it worked! Back in the Silver Age, when Nora and Henry were alive and not in prison, Barry couldn't be bothered with Eobard. For him Eo was just a random criminal with superspeed, and sure he was threatening because speedsters always are, but not that much of a big deal.
Now? Now Eobard is a primary element in Barry's life, a constant he's had to deal with basically since birth, someone who rewritten his entire life to make himself part of it in an indelible manner.
It worked because now Barry is more likely to fall for Eobard's manipulation, to listen to him, to just accept that he's THERE because he's always been. Near the end of Running Scared, Eobard tells him "run away with me", and Barry says yes.
Back in the Silver Age there would have been no way.
It's worth mentioning that to understand Eobard, you need to understand that everything he does, every single thing, has the end goal of being with Barry. Whether he's trying to protect him or trying to hurt him or trying to manipulate him, whether they manage to work together against a common enemy or they're on opposite sides of the fight, every single one of Eobard's actions is motivated by love (his personal, inhuman version of love).
"But if that is the case, then why doesn't he just tell Barry 'I love you'?"
Two reasons, and one is meta.
The in-story reason is that every time Eobard tried to do something good without masking it as horrible, it went sideways and backfired spectacularly - mix that with poor emotional regulation, and you have someone who's not going to be able to handle rejection and is outright scared of doing good things openly. I think if he told Barry "I love you" and Barry reacted badly it would hurt too much. Also he wants Barry to understand, and thanks to a couple of competent writers who sadly don't work on Flash anymore, we were getting there.
The meta reason is because DC is homophobic, plain and simple. Eobard DID SAY I love you many times except with words, because DC editorials won't let him. That's it. It's the same reason why Joker can't tell Batman "I love you" and has to do weird ass word plays and even more weird ass attention seeking maneuvers. They're stunted by reasons which no one but DC itself can control.
So in short. How can Eobard be in love with Barry and hurt him so much at the same time? Because he doesn't have many ways of express love, he has a hard time being caring, and every time he allows himself to be soft it backfires. Because he wants Barry to belong to him and will isolate him and make him suffer to get there. Because he's angry with Barry -- Barry hurt him too, rejected him and left him alone and refused to accept that Eobard is his lightning rod for a long time.
Eobard easily lashes out when he's hurt, and the less grounded he is the more vicious and violent he turns.
"But Zero, how can Eobard think that Barry will ever forgive him for having killed his mom?"
I don't believe Eobard was ever looking for forgiveness, but fun fact. Barry did forgive him already. Barry is not human either, and at this point I think he'd forgive Eobard just about anything, and despite how difficult everything is between them, he really wants to get to a place where they don't need to hurt each other.
The problem with this, and it's one of the reasons why they have so many issues communicating, is that Barry is in denial about many things - about being the Speed Force, about Eobard being in love with him, about how they're two constants through time and two sides of the same coin and basically can't exist without each other, about how they're each other's lightning rod.
Their relationship is very complex, absolutely not what it looks like at first glance, and it's colored by all the hurt there is between them. But again, ultimately understanding Eobard is understanding that love is what motivates him, even when he does the most horrible unhinged things.
In conclusion, have this panel from The Flash Age which is one of my favorite Flash comics, in which you can see the way these two manage to trust each other and fall into the right rhythm, despite the oceans of misunderstandings and suffering between them.
Pages from The Flash Age, by Joshua Williamson. In which Barry tells Eobard to "do the right thing", and Eobard just does it.
#thanks for asking anon#you didn't sound snarky at all no worries#I tried to be as exhaustive as possible without writing a wall of text#idk how well I managed#I just know I could talk about these two forever#my asks#eobarry#barry allen#eobard thawne#my meta
Celebrating the work being done for @bunnysuitzine with a sketch of my favorite Reverse Flash in a Reverse Bunnysuit.
This might also be inspired by @keanurye ‘s much more wholesome art.
Go follow them! The zine doesn’t contain Eobard, but it does contain a variety of fun characters and insanely good art and writing, so you should want to get it in your hot little hands.
This man looks illegally good in yellow.
do you have any headcannons about meloni thawne?
yes! in no particular order:
- deeply mentally ill but good at hiding it
- has rage problems and a violent streak but good at hiding it
- is actually so hateful of herself that she could never take care of bart like a proper mom
- had owen with boomerang during one of her manic periods, which is why boomerang left with owen
- would kill thad on sight for what he’s done to bart
- would have killed max a long time ago for his treatment of her son if bart didn’t love him so much
- took care of carol with all her heart bc bart loved her so much, and whatever bart loves, meloni will learn to love
- is incredibly lonely and cannot form lasting romantic relationships with anyone due to don allen’s demise, hence why she and boomerang didn’t work out
- is not at all a “i love all my children equally” kind of woman. loves only bart, even tho she had owen later
- actually did love don allen deeply. goes back and forth in her head abt assuming a relationship with him bc without him, no bart and no short-lived happiness. with him, it’s tragedy after tragedy, even tho there is love
- her hatred for her father is eobard-to-barry level unhinged
Hey. Shakes you by the shoulders. DCxDP where Eobard Thawne is Danny’s cool distant “uncle” that he never sees but always sends in the coolest gifts for the holidays.
~
Danny had grown used to seeing people injured at a surprisingly young age.
He wasn’t injured on the regular, or witness to some sort of extraordinary amount of violence; his parents’ lab was just… very volatile, and they were unprofessionally lax on safety measures on the best of days.
As such, when he saw an unconscious, incredibly injured man wearing some sort of superhero suit in their backyard in the early hours of the morning (he had gotten up to get a glass of water when he heard a thump outside), he didn’t panic, as any young child should have in his situation.
No. Instead, Danny dragged the man inside (with considerable difficulty; despite how thin he was, he was heavy), treated his wounds as best he could (it’s difficult for a child younger than 10 to do stitches, you understand), put a blanket over the man, and went back to bed.
After losing a fight to the Flash and passing out in a random suburban lawn, the last thing Eobard was expecting to wake up to was a small child sitting on the floor in front of him, noisily eating a bowl of cereal.
(He had thought, maybe he would have been found by the Flash and brought to some Justice League holding cell. Or, found by a civilian, and brought to the police. Perhaps, in his feverish state, he had remembered the prison he ended up in from his time, with their brands and chemicals and torturous therapies.)
For some unknown reason, this child had found him, not recognized him as the monster he is (perhaps due to the boy’s age), and helped him—even if his healing factor would have fixed him eventually, having all his parts in the right order certainly sped up the process.
Usually he wouldn’t care for civilians. He’d killed enough that he’d lost count what felt like an eternity ago—and yet, somehow, he felt indebted to this boy. This boy, who had helped him so selflessly, who was so entirely clueless to the evil right in front of him.
This boy, who was all alone in an empty house, whose sister was away, whose parents had gone on a trip and left him behind.
(It didn’t matter the explanation the boy gave for it, Eobard’s mind whispered to itself regardless. Kin. Like calling to like.)
And so, he worked hard to free himself from this debt he had incurred.
He traveled through time, working his way into the family whilst posing as a distant relative. It was remarkably easy; the Fentons didn’t have an incredible memory of their relatives; all he had to do was forge a few papers and mention a few people and he was now “Uncle Eo”.
It was, however, taxing on the mind. These people were absurdly friendly, not to mention talkative. The effort had become a multi-year operation, popping in every now and then for large family gatherings and home visits.
It felt… nice, to be wanted for once. To be noticed in his absence for more than just his status.
To be liked.
He made sure to send the boy a gift on the right holidays, as well as on his birthdays. With his skillset, it wasn’t too difficult to follow him around and see what he liked and wanted. It also wasn’t difficult to spy in when he opened them, to ensure that he had done an acceptable job.
Of course, he couldn’t let this sort of thing cut into his time spent fighting the Flash, so he wasn’t too present. The last thing he wanted was to drag trouble into the boy’s life from his presence.
But then, it happened.
He found out that this boy, and the one known in his time as Phantom, were one and the same.
It was, as a historian, thrilling.
It was, as a villain, horrifying.
In all his travels, he had never intended to involve himself with that mysterious being which shadowed the Justice League. That ghost with the power, in some timelines, to bring about the end of all things.
Of course, he was also capable of doing that, but it isn’t exactly fun to meet someone who’s powers are a match for your own.
Especially if you couldn’t find it in yourself to end him, should he make himself your enemy.
Still, he had a debt to repay, and a boy to look after.
He delivered things to the boy’s room to help him; tactical gloves, a lightweight protective suit, weapons and equipment. All uncredited, since the boy seemed to value the idea of a secret identity.
He took it upon himself to shift the odds in his favor a few times, even; making faster-than-light adjustments to the boy and his combatants during fights to shift the odds in his favor.
Somewhere along the years, he had formed some sort of odd affection for the boy, if he was capable of doing so at all.
And so, when that ghost-boy sought his Uncle Eo out all the way in Central City, carved open and scarred, a distant look in his eyes, he took him in without a second thought.
He would protect this boy, who once had protected him.
#dcxdp#dpxdc#dcxdp crossover#yeah I know Eo probably comes off as creepy and that’s because he is. sorry#he does genuinely care! he’s just actually unwell and has an unnerving way of showing it#this is what affection looks like to him. extreme stalking followed up by kindness related to said stalking#the flash finding out eo has essentially domesticated himself by caring for a child: hey. what#‘very happy you’re doing this! but. um. what’#I think eobard would find out about Dani and take it very normally#and not be insane about the genetically altered child who was cast aside for being imperfect#I think he would take that situation very well#flash and eo fighting before an alarm goes off on Eo’s suit and he just goes ‘hey I have to pick up the kid from school.’#‘we can finish this later’ and speeds off while flash malfunctions because HUH WHUH#WHAT FUCKING KID. YOU HAVE A KID?? ITS YOURS???? DID YOU STEAL IT#anyways dani and eobard duo should be called planned obsolescence#idk what danny and eobard duo would be called sorry
My critique of CW’S The Flash
The Flash is one of my absolute favourite shows, and I think it deserves one of these. Yes my favourite shows deserve critiques because there are changes I would’ve liked to see instead. This is all just my opinion on the show, not exactly hating it. Plus.. I saw someone else doing something similar to here goes.
Imma be clear at the start. I don’t hate WestAllen, just really really disappointed with how they were written in the latter seasons sometimes.
Props to every actor in the Flash who put all their effort into the show whether the script was cringe or not.
Season 1-2 was FIRE. No complaints. Loved the WestAllen.
Season 3 was good,
but I think they could’ve done Savitar better. Still liked him as the big bad being depressed/emo!Barry. I’ll say that I got really attached to Harry in S2 which made me wonder why they have HR there at all? The dude grew on me, and he added humour to the team, but honestly between him and Harry, it could’ve easily been Harry. Though it means he would die at the end.. so I’m glad Season 3 had HR Wells instead sorry not sorry.
The relationship between Julian Albert and Barry was so fun to watch. Which reminds me, LOVED Eobard’s appearance as Matt Letscher in 3x01. I have no idea why they continue to use Wells’ face like bruh. Your pretending as Wells is over so like why. GIMME MORE MATT!EOBARD.
I loved Frost???
Season 4 was also great.
I’d say more quality than season 3 because it was their first time against a big bad that WASN’T a speedster yet posed a more than adequate challenge to the team. The plot was nice and unique (I really loved Hazard!). I’ll say that DEVOE was kinda showing some red flags before becoming the Thinker in his relationship with Marlize, like he seemed kinda overly possessive of her. Glad that she switched to helping Team Flash after seeing what her husband had become. Loved her “Thinker’s first victim” line.
I felt like they started focusing on Cecile too much? Her role was vital to the plot at the end with helping Barry hop into Devoe’s mind to retrieve Ralph. And speaking of Ralph, I was neutral towards the character at first, but he grew on me. Also why fire him for sometning he did like 10yrs ago. That made no sense. I’d rather Ralph than more Cecile or Allegra.
LOVED ALL THE BANTER BETWEEN HARRY AND CISCO. And FROST FROST FROST!!! I liked her S4 outfit. I also think Barry’s supersuit was the best in this season.
One of my favourite episodes was “Flashtime”. Awesome awesome filler episode.
Season 5 was also great.
Barry’s supersuit was trash tho imo. He just looks like a weird deformed strawberry.
Above average but not quite as good as S4. LOVED NORA WORKING WITH THAWNE then Barry finding out and tossing her into the pipeline cell lol. Just the betrayal, and then dumping her in the middle of a random street in the future. Loved all the father-daughter moments she had with Barry. Cool to see the writers creativity in “meta-tech”.
However Iris.. bro in 5x19 she has some issues bringing up the fact Barry NEEDED to go into the Speedforce TWICE. And then her telling Barry to his face that she didn’t care that Nora was working with Thawne. Like bro, he murdered your husband’s mother and caused sm problems. And you don’t care about that?? Good to see that Barry called her out in the end.
Imma complain about freaking Sherloque again. Why not Harry? Even after what happened to him in S4, I think he could’ve figured out that Nora is secretly working with Thawne. Like dude’s still smart af.
Nora getting erased from existence at the very end.. sad :( I miss S5 Nora
Season 6.
I feel like this is when everything started going downhill. I didn’t care for Mirror Monarch. The mirror!Iris storyline was interesting to see. Idk what happened the rest of the season. That’s how much I didn’t care for this season lol. I think the other half was about Ramsey and how he wanted to make everyone zombies. Man I HATED Sue Dearborn or however you spell her name. She just took up too much screentime. This is when it started feeling like “Iris & Friends” instead of “The Flash”.
Liked to see how Barry dealt with slowly losing his speed bc he was killing the speedforce lol. Liked how the Caitlin/Frost duo became separate people. It was cool. At least we got that lol.
I think this is when Allegra comes in. I honestly can’t stand her. Like the whole her and her sister trope? Why.
The one thing I did like was Barry’s artificial speedforce gave him speed thinking. Awesome episode to watch. EXCEPT NASH. WHY. His sacrifice is useless in the end because of the whole “Iris is Barry’s lightning rod” thing. Have nothing about a speedster’s lightning rods in the comics, just didn’t like how that was written into the show. It eventually got really annoying.
Season 7.
Where do I even begin. This is when Barry’s “children” became a thing, and then suddenly speedforce!Nora wanting to kill all of them? Like what??? Where did that come from? Dion’s storyline was interesting. The rest were just.. Meh. And the CGI was so cringe.
I loved Abra Kadabra??? Why they gotta kill him off in one episode.
Does Chillblaine start coming in this season? I dislike him in general.
Season 8.
THIS IS WHEN BARRY’S ACTUAL CHILDREN COME BACK.
Now with Nora getting erased in S5, I really would’ve preferred if they gave us Tornado Twins instead. Like you can even use the same actors, but I honestly don’t really like the new Nora. I did like seeing her interaction between her and her family.
Also. Bart. I. Have. Major. Problems. I LOVE Bart but he is supposed to be Barry’s GRANDSON. Give us Don Allen instead. I did like the episode where they messed up the timeline, went back to 2013 and then accidentally reset Jay into the timeline. Also loved the episode with the whole Barry and the gamma radiation making him age hella fast. Bro was basically a zombie at the end and still overloaded the machine with the speedforce.
The. Stupid. Power Rangers godspeed arc was shit and them being Bart’s Thawne-like arch nemesis. Like boy, don’t compare Thawne with your godspeed problems. Don’t even start. Also what is with the “Negative Forces” and “Positive Forces” Power Rangers thing and then Iris’ time sickness? At this point, The Flash just started to feel like a soap opera.
I liked Chester even though he was a “replacement” for Cisco. He was unique. But the whole Allegra/Chester budding relationship where did that come from?? It just seemed very cringe and didn’t do much for the plot besides drama I guess. Khione was meh. Like just give us Caitlin with Frost in some way. I don’t care about Khione and her arc. Pls give us more Barry and not so much Cecile and Allegra.
Season 9
The show should just be renamed “Power Rangers: Iris & Friends” at this point. They made an entire episode without Barry?? Like if I pick up a Flash comic book, I expect it to be about THE FLASH. Not his random friends. Like yes, his friends can make appearances but don’t give me a whole dang episode without Barry THE MAIN CHARACTER. Also how the hell did Cecile become that OP, where is the character development.
Idk where Chillblaine comes in but I just don’t like him, not to mention that I don’t like the relationship between him and Frost. Like what.
Eddie’s Cobalt Blue arc and Red Death arc could’ve been done WAY better. I didn’t see any plot relevance in any way. It was written so poorly. Red Death was just like evil speedster!Batman or something. Please don’t bring our beloved Eddie back if you gonna write him all just jealous of Barry and him somehow becoming the new avatar of the Negative Speedforce. And what does Batwoman have anything to do with this (I believe she appears in the finale villains arc)l
There is legit only one episode I like in S9. The one that comes “full circle”. The one where Barry gets stuck in 2000, gets to chill with his parents for one day, and then comes full circle with Matt!Eobard killing Nora. SEASON 1 QUALITY. They even use the same bg music which awwww. And the “If I can spend one more day with my parents, then what would I say to them?” Line? Chef’s kiss.
Did not like the finale. His final run speech was okay about sharing his gift. Definitely would’ve preferred if Barry became the lightning bolt that struck him in S1 like in the comics.
Idk which episodes: Loved all the Amunet & Frost storyline, and then Goldface time to time appearances. Especially “Officer Chemist” lol.
