Unexpected truth: Dave York

Story description: After the accident happened you didn’t know what else to do but fear over your safety and life you decided to just leave the city you Iove and escape.

Warnings: mentions of death, kidnapping,years of not seeing the love of your life,

But there is no way it could possibly be him but some other people got on the elevator with you as you are going through the footage.

There was an unknown person last on the elevator. He had braided hair and was wearing an black suit as the video went on. You didn't know if that was your attacker. You zoomed the video to see what floor number he went on and he clicked the 8 floor, the one you were just on.

Looking at the video scared and panicked finally realizing what's going to happen, shutting the laptop and going to your closet and grabbing your suitcases and quickly adding all your stuff in there.

With everything packed and quickly jogging down the stairs and opening the front door running out of your apartment and then you wave your hand and yell for a taxi which then stops opening the taxi door and you see an older man.

“Hello, I need to go to the closest airport.” You say as he nods, and starts to drive looking through the window. It started to rain,

Still scared and nervous after that video you saw and just needed someone to keep you safe. You had to fake your own death. Someone you truly love Dave doesn't know you're actually alive. You have been so scared to see him, Dave saw his only true love be buried.

It's been a few years since you last saw him you had to do this for the both of you so the unknown guy couldn't find you but know he did, he is back looking for me

Then you hear, “miss we arrived at the airport.” You then quickly give him some money and say thank you grabbing your suitcase quickly getting out of the cab and you start to run towards the front entrance walking inside the airport doors calming yourself down for a second while looking around to find what border you're going to go on.

You need to see him, your lover Dave needs to know everything and the real truth and to tell him what's going on. You then looked around to see if you could find the closest flight tonight. You walked up to the desk and saw a lady there.

Talking on the phone You quickly walk over to the desk and say “I need the fastest flight to new york” You say to her “Alright just give a moment” she says, you then nod while looking around to see if anyone was around there wasn't much people around that was a relief spacing out while checking again,

“Miss?” you hear someone say and it was the lady at the desk “i have your ticket ready.” She said as she held it out. “Oh thank you” You gave her the money and took the ticket. After going through the TSA. You board the plane and begin looking for your seat which turns out to be row 8 on the right side of the plane. After making it to your seat, you open the storage above to put your suitcase in. After closing it you sat in your seat which was a window seat.

Well you were waiting for the plane to take off. You then start to think about your love, you miss him. You miss him dearly, and tried to not cry. You felt the butterflies in your stomach and tried to relax thinking about your love before hearing someone getting on the intercom.

“We are now leaving for new york city” The lady says on the intercom.

The plane is lifting up watching out the window thinking about what's about to happen. You slowly close your eyes to rest them for a little bit. You then fell asleep but after a while you woke up hearing the lady on the entercom again. “You have arrived in New York City, please put on your seatbelt while we land. Thank you for flying with us and enjoy your trip.”

As your eyes adjust to the light you look at the window and see all the buildings. “I'm really here, finally I can see him.” you thought while smiling with a sigh of relief. You already had your seatbelt on so you were good. Slowly the plane comes to a stop and then you undo the belt quickly standing up and see everyone else getting their bags.

You walk out of the seats and open the top. You grab your suitcase and walk off the plane into a different airport. As you looked around looking for the entrance to leave, you saw that it was right ahead.

Heading outside you decided to walk to central park. As you walked, you were fascinated by everything from the building to the lights.You made it to the park and saw some people sitting on the bench.

You then sat down with your luggage on an empty bench just watching everything. You then saw someone jogging and as he got closer past you gasped. Iit was him, the love of your life. You then see him start to slow down. “I bet you can do better than that.” you say to him

He turns towards you looking at you for a minute before saying “what are you doing here how are you here” You walk in front of him. He still looks the same as the last time you saw him.

You then felt him come up to you and then pulled you into a hug. You wrap your arms around him just holding the both of you. Looking up at him you felt him lean in to kiss you. Missing his touch for so long. It Made you want to not let go of him.

“There's a lot I need to tell you about what happened to me and why.”

“Tell me the truth, no more secrets or lies” Dave said

“Alright, let's go sit down” you say looking at him as you guys head back to the bench in the middle of the park. Where your luggage is at.

“I watched you be buried, " he says.

“I know it was the only way I had to do it.” I sighed

“Why did you have to fake your own death?” he says, raising his voice a little.

“Someone is after me. They've been stalking me and even attacking me at work… I'm still in danger because he is after me. My life is now in danger. I don't know what to do anymore. I can't sleep everywhere I look. I think he will find me.”

You say to him,you felt tears flowing down your face as you began to cry. You feel his hand in yours as Dave tries to comfort you.

“I'm sorry babe, I just can't get over that you faked your death. Why didn't you call me sooner if it was this worse?” He asked you, you saw the sorrow in his eyes.

“I didn’t want to put the man I love in a dangerous situation.” You said

“Baby I have a plan. you will be staying with me for now on. is that clear?” he asked you as you nod quietly.

“Okay but what if he finds me here?” you asked him, feeling him watching you. He grabs your face and you look up at him.

“Baby trust me, I will keep you safe, now let's head back to my place.”

“Alright, but do you still live in the same place?” you ask him.

“Yeah but I haven't had much contact with anyone right after you disappeared” He said before looking at you.

“Dave, why should you have stayed in contact with at least someone.”

Kira K Takes Afternoons Warm 98.5 in Cincinnati

Kira K is appointed afternoons host for Heritage AC WRRM-FM (Warm 98.5) in Cincinnati, weekdays from 2-7pm beginning Tuesday, September 3. She moves to WRRM from Cumulus co-owned WCTO-FM (Cat Country 96) in Allentown, PA where she co-hosted mornings since 2022. Prior to that, Kira K was heard on-air in Las Vegas for Audacy/Entercom and was a sales assistant and producer for Lotus Broadcasting in Las Vegas. She's also a Camp Broadcast alumnus, where aspiring broadcasters interview celebrities and learn from current broadcasters. WRRM-FM Program Director Josh Wolff said, "It's always terrific when we can promote from within Cumulus. For $2.5 Million You Can Own Radio.com. AUDACY retired the RADIO.COM platform on MARCH 30, 2021 when it abandoned the former ENTERCOM brand with a redirect to AUDACY.COM.
