English gardens are like stepping into a living masterpiece.

Deep in the Lake District is Gresgarth Hall Gardens - which is open just one day a month (on the second Sunday of the month between February and November) The way the flowers cascade around the lake is truly breathtaking. It's a reminder that some beauty is worth patiently waiting for.

Fawsley Hall and Tyntesfield Park, with their grand estates and meticulously cultivated grounds, offer a glimpse into centuries of horticultural tradition. Wandering through these gardens, you feel the weight of history and the delicate beauty of nature intertwined.

Amidst the Strangeness of a Year, Finding Comfort in Nature's Embrace and the Melody of Books and Music

A nostalgic revisit to the summer of 2020. It might have been an unusual and peculiar year, but I maximised its essence by appreciating and relishing nature, immersing myself in books, and savouring music - the modest and uncomplicated joys of life transformed it into a truly fulfilling year for me. There's an indescribable allure in being outside, harmonising with nature, and indulging in the melodious symphony of birdsong that profoundly calms the spirit.
