Within one day of the October 7 massacre, the National Students for Justice in Palestine issued a call for a "National Day of Resistance" to be held on October 12. Along with that announcement they issued a "Day of Resistance Toolkit" where give talking points to their members nationwide.
The document says \that every single Israeli Jewish community is considered an "ilegal settlement' And every single Israeli Jew is a "settler,"no matter where in Israel they live.
On the 50th anniversary of the 1973 war, the resistance in Gaza launched a surprise operation against the Zionist enemy which disrupted the very foundation of Zionist settler society....Referred to as Operation Towfan Al-Aqsa (Al-Aqsa Flood), the resistance has taken occupation soldiers hostage, fired thousands of rockets, taken over Israeli military vehicles, and gained control over illegal Israeli settlements....What we are witnessing now is a heightened stage of the Palestinian struggle–through tearing down colonial infrastructure and liberating our colonized land from illegal settlements.
Among those points, in the "Messaging and Framing" section, they say this:
Settlers are not “civilians” in the sense of international law, because they are military assets used to ensure continued control over stolen Palestinian land.
Arab Israelis are never referred to as settlers. Only Israeli Jews are.
The most visible organization behind the campus protests call for the murder of every single Jew in Israel as legitimate "resistance." They make no distinctions: women and children are "settlers" as well and as such they are considered military targets.
All the students who think they are calling fo ran end to genocide are literally calling for the genocide of seven million Jews.
Here is the genocidal call to murder virtually every Jew in the Middle East:
Tumblr media
When students are asked why they are protesting, they usually refer the person to the organizers. These are the organizers.
While most student protesters are unaware of this genocidal desire by the organizers, some of them must know a little. "By Any Means Necessary" is not ambiguous. Yet how many people who sincerely care about Palestinians for human rights would quit the campus protests if they knew the truth about what was being demanded and how they justify October 7?
SJP is not using euphemisms here - it says that the worst forms of terrorism are justified. Would the ignorant students at the protests change their minds if they knew this?

Occupation, curfew, settlements, closed military zone, administrative detention, siege, preventive strike, terrorist infrastructure, transfer.
Their WAR destroys language.
Speaks with genocide the words of a quiet technician.
Occupation means that you cannot trust the OPEN SKY or any open street near to the gates of the snipers' tower.
It means that you cannot trust the future or have faith that the past will always be there.
Occupation means you live out your life under military rule, and the constant threat of death,
a quick death from a sniper's bullet, or a rocket attack from an M16.
A crushing, suffocating death, a slow bleeding death in an ambulance stopped for hours at a checkpoint.
A dark death, at a torture table in an Israeli prison: just a random, arbitrary death.
A cold, calculated death: from a curable disease. A thousand small deaths while you watch your family dying around you.
Occupation means that every day you die, and the world watches in silence.
As if your death was nothing,
as if you were a stone falling in the earth, water falling over water.
And if you face all of this death and indifference and keep your humanity, and your love and your dignity and YOU refuse to surrender to their terror,
then you know something of the courage that is Palestine.

For Immediate Release
On Tuesday, February 16, human rights and environmental activists, members of the Indonesian-American community and others will gather in San Francisco, California, to urge Indonesia’s President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo to make justice a priority of his administration.
Demonstrators will gather in silence from 5:30 to 7:30 pm in front of the Palace of Fine Arts Theatre, 3301 Lyon St, San Francisco, CA 94123, where the President is scheduled to speak, They will call for greater efforts to bring to justice those responsible for past and ongoing human rights violations.
“President Widodo took office pledging to break with the past. Instead, we see too many echoes of Indonesia’s lawless past,” said John M. Miller, National Coordinator of ETAN. Peter Phwan of ICANET, a Bay Area Indonesia-American group, said “Jokowi should keep his campaign promise for commitment of human rights. So far, he has disappointed us.”
“The persecution of religious minorities continues. Churches still burn and minority faiths still have trouble getting permits to build houses of worship. This was the pattern of the past administration.”
Recently Jokowi’s own officials made hateful remarks against gays and lesbian, even banning gay emoji (sticker) in apps such as Whats App, Facebook and Twitter. Jokowi must address this minority rights,” he added.
“Repression of West Papuans demanding their rights is ongoing, despite Widodo’s promises of change. Security officials recently censored efforts to discuss the brutal killings that began in 1965 and brought the U.S.-backed dictator Suharto to power, Miller added. “Suppressing discussion is characteristic of authoritarian governments.”
“Victims and survivors of human rights crimes from the 1965 mass killings to the illegal invasion and occupation of East Timor (Timor-Leste) and the war in Aceh still await justice,” said Miller. “The lack of accountability for the past contributes to lawlessness in the present.”Other issues of concern to the demonstrators include the continued cutting and burning of Indonesia’ forests to establish palm oil and other plantation agriculture. The rate of deforestation is among the worst in the world. Much of this logging is illegal, often facilitated by lax enforcement and corrupt military and police. Haze from the burning of forests in Indonesia affects the health and well-being of millions in several Southeast Asian countries
Development projects such as the land reclamation such in Benoa Bay in Bali threaten Indonesia’s coasts to build hotels and golf courses.
Groups organizing the protest include the East Timor and Indonesia Action Network (etan.org), ICANET, and California against Reclamation in Benoa Bay, Bali.

BACKGROUND 1. Indonesia must reveal the truth and provide justice for past human rights violations from the mass killings in 1965 on to the illegal invasion and occupation of East Timor It is 50 years since Suharto’s 1965 seizure of power and 40 years after Indonesia’s illegal invasion of East Timor (Timor-Leste). During Suharto’s decades in power, Indonesian security forces and their proxies killed hundreds of thousands. Indonesia has taken only halting steps to acknowledge these crimes against humanity and has yet to take serious steps to hold those responsible for the crimes committed throughout the archipelago from Aceh to Timor-Leste (East Timor) to West Papua. Many of those responsible maintain powerful positions, including in Widodo’s own political party and administration. Refusing to acknowledge the past, the Indonesian military is increasingly re-inserting itself into domestic affairs. 2. End the Persecution of Religious Minorities Religious minorities in Indonesia remain under threat. The recent burning of churches in Aceh and bans on Ahmadi worship are among the most recent examples. Followers of minority religions continue to face persecution and to have trouble opening houses of worship, including GKI Yasmin and HKBP Philadelphia churches. Many localities enforce discriminatory regulations in violation of national law. 3. End the Persecution of Lesbian Gay Bisexual Transgender people Public officials have made a series of troubling anti-gay statements, urging barring LGBT people from universities and other institutions. Recently, the Communication and Information Ministry threatened to ban gay and lesbian emoji or stickers in WhatsApp, Facebook and Twitter. 4. Stop Human Right Violations in West Papua
While Jokowi has promised a new deal for Papua, many of those promises remain unfulfilled. About 40 political prisoners remain in jail and the rules governing media access remain murky. West Papuans advocating for freedom face harassment, arrest or worse. Expanded “development” projects threaten indigenous rights and livelihoods. Indonesia continues to rebuff appeals for direct dialogue with the independence movement.
5. Protect the Environment, Stop Deforestation Indonesia’s forests continue to be stripped to establish palm oil and other plantation agriculture. The rate of deforestation is among the worst in the world. Illegal logging is often facilitated by lax enforcement and corrupt military and police. Haze from the seasonal burning of forests in Indonesia affects the health and well-being of millions in several Southeast Asian countries. Plans to add additional coal-fired electric plants also pose health hazards and will contribute to climate change that already threatens Indonesia’s coral and coasts. The massive Benoa Bay Reclamation Project would destroy a large conservation area in Bali for hotels and tourism. MEDIA ADVISORY
Sebegitu jauh, rekam jejak HAM pemerintahan Jokowi masih mengecewakan.
Muhamad Amin, aktivis San Francisco lainnya berkata, “Belakangan sejumlah fraksi DPR semakin mendukung Jokowi. Agar terjadi check and balance, Presiden Jokowi perlu diingatkan soal isu HAM ini.”
Kelompok peserta aksi diam:
East Timor and Indonesia Action Network (etan.org), ICANET, and California against Reclamation in Benoa Bay, Bali.

Sumber:metrotv
