Tight 3-part vocal harmonies over noisy punk tunes. Tense, scratchy guitar riffs and melodic bass intertwine and push and pull odd rhythms along with just the right balance of formless grime and bright pop sensibility.

Emmanuelle Parrenin & Detlef Weinrich - Jours De Grève (avant-folk, exp. electronic)

A vast sonic array both eerie and groovy. Looped rhythms on electronics and an army of acoustic percussion, odd electronic drones, warbly melismas and bendy, squealing melodies.

Jazmine Sullivan - Heaux Tales (r&b, neo-soul)

Heaux Tales trades off spoken word passages and catchy r&b songs to explore topics of feminism, sex and reclaiming female bodies. Jazmine’s voice dances and harmonizes over crisp drums and a bed of woozy synth chords flowing over one another.

Navy Blue - Song of Sage: Post Panic! (abstract hip-hop)

Musically calm with just a touch of lyrical despair. Navy Blue and a handful of guest features delve into topics of depression, gentrification and trauma, swimming in hazy, psychedelic beats made up of jazzy loops and downplayed, soft percussion.

Upbeat summery indie power pop! Sunny, lush guitars chords dance along with punchy basslines and break into uplifting choruses with catchy upfront vocal melodies and soft, subtle backup vocals.

3D flow from London. Crooned autotune hooks layered with harmonies break into playful bars and adlibs, clicks and clacks, hi-hats and subtle arpeggios unfurl over stomping, bassy kicks.

Madeline Kenney - Summer Quarter (indie, dream pop)

4 downplayed, subtle dream pop cuts. Guitars wave and wobble in a sea of reverb, with Kenney’s voice sitting in the middle, up close and personal, switching off with playful, detuned synth melodies.
