“C’mon, don’t look at me like that, Baby”
JAM REPUBLIC! KIRSTEN DODGEN
X
FEM! IDOL READER
A wild heartstealer idol named Yang Y/N and a globally famous dancer named Kirsten Dodgen is a pretty good duo for a power couple, don’t you think? One can only wonder how the korean public will take the news that a dancer from New Zealand can tame the all-famous idol Yang Y/n. Will life let them have their way or will the public eye force another idol between the two who they think will fit Y/n better?
The sound of keys clanging down on a desk could be heard throughout the cold, quiet apartment soon after Y/n had turned on the light in the dim hallway. It was pitch black, maybe 1 am? Y/n wasn’t sure…How much had she drunk at that party? She wondered if her girlfriend was still up.
Oh shit.
Her girlfriend. Y/n had sent her a text earlier promising that she would get home early. Her friends got her too drunk, that promise completely slipped out of her head. Now here she was stumbling around the apartment, trying not to make any noise just in case Kirsten woke up.
She downed a glass of water and went into the bathroom to wash up for bed. Oh god, she looked terrible, when did her cheeks go that red? It almost looked like someone’s lipstick….
“No, don’t think that..oh fuck” Y/n’s head pulsed, she could barely remember the wild night at her brother’s house.
She hurried up and brushed her teeth, took off her make up, and got into her pajamas. “I wonder what time Kirsten went to sleep…I’m so fucked tomorrow morning” Y/n muttered to herself as she climbed the stairs towards her and her girlfriend’s shared bedroom.
She slowly pushed the door open to find Kirsten completely covered, almost drowning in the sheets. Y/n chuckled to herself, finding her girlfriend adorable. She wouldn’t be so adorable tomorrow though, as soon as she found out what time Y/n got home. Ugh, it scares Y/n just thinking about it. Well, there’s nothing she could do about it now.
Y/n didn’t even bother checking her friends’ messages at that point, she just placed her phone down on the bedside table, without another thought. There were only two things on her dizzy mind at that point, the warm bed and her warm, cozy girlfriend.
The next morning
…8:37 am…
Y/n woke with a start, finding her peaceful sleep interrupted by a pillow to her face…
“Ugh…” she groaned as a hangover headache made its presence known. She opened her eyes to her girlfriend who wore Y/n’s old grey shirt and little black shorts. “…Hi, Kirs” she smiled meekly at her girlfriend who just glared at her.
After a few awkward seconds of silence Kirsten finally voiced out, “I’m just disappointed”. Y/n sat up from the comfy duvet and rubbed her sleepy eyes, “I’m sorry, baby, my friends got me too drunk and I couldn’t think straight.” She just rolled her eyes at you and stormed out the room. Y/n could hear Kirsten’s thundering footsteps down the stairs and groaned.
She fucked up.
Big time.
Y/n quickly got up from the bed and made the covers and pillows tidy. She stepped down the staircase quietly in order to not set her girlfriend off even more. She looked around the apartment and found the bathroom locked, she could hear the sink running and…crying? Oh fuck, “No, no, no” Y/n thought, panicking, “what the fuck happened last night?” She remembered her phone in the bedroom and ran up to go get it.
She unlocked her phone and immediately opened instagram to a horde of messages from her friends last night. She viewed some stories, including two from one of her close friends, Ishiriki Yangxi, an idol who the public thinks should be with Y/n as their visuals fit with each other. The first part of the story was a group picture with Y/n and their circle of friends, The second picture was..
“Oh my fucking god” Y/n’s eyes widened at the image. It was a picture of her and Yangxi, the girl was placing a kiss on Y/n’s cheek, leaving red lipstick marks all over Y/n’s face, as sweaty bodies jumped and danced around them.
“No fucking way she posted this.” Y/n immediately sent a message to Yangxi,
“ISHIRIKI LIAN YANGXI, WHY THE FUCK WOULD YOU POST THAT ON YOUR STORY? KIRSTEN FUCKING SAW IT AND NOW SHE’S CRYING. WHAT’S WRONG WITH YOU. YOU KNEW I WAS TOTALLY WASTED AND TOOK ADVANTAGE OF ME.“
After sending the message with her head pulsing even harder than last night, she left her phone on the bed and ran down the stairs.
Kirsten was nowhere to be found. “Oh fuck me” Y/n gritted her teeth together. Where was she? Oh god, she had to apologize, right this instant. She needed to explain that it wasn’t what she thought.
Y/n sent a few messages to Kirsten apologizing for the story and explaining the situation. She called her girlfriend’s number, no answer…Shit. “God where is she?” Y/n thought, stressed over this. Y/n asked around Kirsten’s friends, Ling, Latrice, Emma, and Audrey.
Ling, Emma, and Audrey all answered pretty quick, all responding with replies like they didn’t know or Kirsten hasn’t talked to them.
Latrice answered last, “She’s with me in the studio, we’re working on a choreo piece” Y/n read her reply quickly as she saw Latrice’s chat bubble typing again.
“Kirs told me that she wanted some space for a couple hours to cool down and think about things” she added
Y/n replied to Latrice, “Oh…okay, could you please tell her I’m incredibly sorry and if she’ll let me I’ll explain to her what happened, please.”
Latrice replied instantly, “Okay sure, don’t worry about it, I’m sure she’ll feel better after a few hours of dancing to cool off”
Y/n decided to leave her alone, deciding it would be better for her to think about that
for a while before Y/n explains herself. She figured Kirsten would come back somewhere near lunch time, she usually takes a nap at noon…
It was now 9:15 and Y/n decided to get some stuff to make up for last night. She went out and got a bouquet of yellow and white tulips, yellow was Kirsten’s favorite, because she loves the sun. She hurried home and made lunch for the two of them.
…10:04 am…
Y/n cleaned her self up and put on something comfy to not look like a mess. She went up to the bedroom and opened her phone.
There was a message from Yangxi.
“Oh. I thought you were in your right mind…Everyone told me I should go for it, I’m sorry.” Her reply said.
“Well, Sorry doesn’t cut it. I was completely drunk last night, that should’ve never happened, I’m sorry but this friendship cannot go on if it hurts my girlfriend” Y/n replied back coldly, still fuming from Yangxi’s actions. She blocked her, just to make sure it never happened again, she didn’t care if the public wanted them to date, Y/n wanted Kirsten, and Kirsten only.
Y/n cleaned up the house a bit more before Kirsten came back to take her mind of Yangxi for a bit. She went up to the bedroom again to touch up her makeup, after a few minutes she heard the door unlocking and a few light footsteps.
She grabbed the bouquet from the bed and listened for a few minutes. Once she heard the bathroom door opening and closing shut, she crept down the stairs quietly and hid in the living room for a bit.
After the bathroom door opens once more, Y/n peeked through the living room door to see Kirsten looking for something in her bag with her back to Y/n. Slowly and quietly, Y/n made her way to her girlfriend and gently slid her arms around Kirsten’s waist.
With the bouquet in one hand and the other going lower to hook her fingers through the belt loops of Kirsten’s pants, Y/n gently laid her chin on Kirsten’s shoulder as Kirsten let out a soft sigh.
“Kirsten please…I’m sorry, let me explain what happened” Y/n begged her quietly, hugging her tightly as if afraid if she let go, it’d be the last time. Kirsten let a few seconds of silence slip as she felt Y/n’s hot breath on her neck and her warm hands on her waist.
“Fine…what the hell did I see on Yangxi’s story this morning?” Kirsten muttered quietly as she placed her hands gently on the kitchen counter, the item in her bag completely forgotten.
Y/n heaved a sigh, “It was my fault, I’m so sorry, my love. My brother gave me too much to drink but I never thought Yangxi would’ve taken advantage of that. Trust me, Kirsten, I would never willingly let her do that.” Y/n quietly let out.
“Please believe me on this, Kirsten, I’ve already asked my company and Yangxi to separate us, I never want to work with her anymore now that she hurt you.” Y/n begged her, her eyes shined with tears because seeing Kirsten hurt broke her heart into a million pieces.
Kirsten stayed silent for a bit, Y/n could feel her breathing more heavily now. “it's okay... you go on ahead and cry. I've got you...” Y/n let out worriedly as tears slid down Kirsten’s cheeks. Y/n let go of her and set the bouquet on the table quickly, she turned back to Kirsten who was looking down at the floor, her tears steadily flowing.
Y/n wiped her tears gently, “You know you’re mine right?” Kirsten let out quietly as she let Y/n wipe her tears away. “Of course, my love” Y/n breathed out, clearly relieved, “I’m all yours, Kirs” Y/n grabbed her hand gently and placed a gentle kiss on her palm.
Y/n giggled lightly at the shorter woman, "What are you laughing at? i don't see anything funny." Kirsten questioned her, Y/n giggled in response “You’re cute when you’re jealous”
“Sorry how am I not supposed to be jealous when you’re supposed to be fucking mine, Y/n?” Kirsten rolled her eyes, Y/n grinned at her as she wrapped her arms around Kirsten’s waist again, finally letting out a breath she didn’t even know she was holding.
“You're so fucking hot when you're mad." Y/n muttered in Kirsten’s ear as she giggled finally relieving the tension that hung in the air for the past couple of minutes. Kirsten broke the hug as she held both of Y/n’s hands in her own,
“Yeah, yeah. You're cute. Just stop smiling at me like that." She giggled back in response.
Kirsten took Y/n’s hand and led her into the living room, “Oh?, you just can't help yourself, can you?" Y/n giggled at the shorter woman, loving this side of Kirsten she rarely got to see. They stumbled into the room, as Kirsten pulled Y/n’s collar to bring her into a heated kiss, Y/n didn’t resist, she’ll let Kirsten have her fun this one time.
Y/n just let it happen as Kirsten pushed her onto the couch, “Don’t you have to go back to the studio later?” Y/n questioned her girlfriend as she sat in her lap. “That doesn’t really matter to me right now, I’m sure Latrice can finish the piece by herself” Kirsten mumbled as she pulled Y/n into a slow, sweet kiss which morphed into a rough, eager make out session that left Y/n whimpering for more.
As Kirsten let Y/n catch her breath, she said “You look good like this, with my lipstick all smeared around your face and your neck marked by me.” Kirsten grinned smugly at the woman below her. She pushed Y/n so that the taller woman was lying down with Kirsten still comfortably seated in her lap.
Y/n was panting achingly at Kirsten, completely overwhelmed by her dominating behavior. She was all over you. She looked at you with those beautiful, captivating eyes of hers and you just found her irresistible. That was a look Y/n could never get tired of.
“C’mon, don’t look at me like that, Baby”
Let’s just say Y/n’s bouquet and the lunch she prepared were long forgotten after that.

Burn it down | Emma Huch x Fem reader | Fluff
Summary: when your one sided love turn out to not be one sided after all.
Warnings: small make out, cheating, sitting on lap.
Word count: 2.8k
A/N: here is the jam ff that I promised. I might write part 2 smut on this one too but I’m not too sure yet. Anyways, enjoy this one. It’s not my best work but I thought it was pretty wholesome 🤭
─── ⋆⋅☼⋅⋆ ───
It was no secret to anyone that you were madly in love with Emma. Ever since you saw her sitting there on the set of Street Woman Fighter 2 you felt your heart race when she shot you that cute smile.
Your attraction to this girl went above and beyond. You craved her touch every minute and your smile would never fall when she was around. You felt hopelessly devoted to this woman.
One day, your leader encouraged you to talk to her. She told you that you had nothing to lose and even though she was right, you didn't want to end up heartbroken. To you, it was better to stay delusional than to end up hurt.
"Y/N, you can't just look at her from a distance forever. What's going to happen when the show and promotions end and she has to go back home?" Halo said.
You thought about it and she was right. If you were going to spend the whole season with her, you might as well try to get close to her.
What surprised you is that you had the support of the majority of the girls, including the girls from Jam Republic. So they encouraged you. They invited you to their hideout and one by one they started leaving until it was only you and Emma in the room.
"Where did they all go?" Emma said as she came out of the bathroom.
"I think they said something about getting food. The staff bought lunch today," you replied.
"Oh, great! I'm starving!" She said as she sat next to you.
"It's so pink in here... What's your favorite color?" She questioned as she played with the bunny plush in her hands.
"Umm... purple. It's just a pretty color and the different shades are all beautiful. That color can represent goodness or evil. That's why I like it so much," you said as you played with your bracelet which was a habit you developed when you were nervous.
"I've never thought of it that way. It's truly a beautiful color just like you," she said as she placed the bunny on your lap.
"W-what do you mean?" you asked as your cheeks were flustered and you tried your best to hide it.
"Well, you are beautiful. I really hope you believe it," she said as she patted your head and you melted under her touch.
"Thanks. So are you. What's your favorite color?" you said with a small smile.
"Oh! Mine is definitely dark red. Wine or blood sort of... although my boyfriend said that color isn't a good color to like. He's always questioning my choices in everything. He said sometimes he wishes I was more girly but I love him so I just try to comply," she said and you felt your heart breaking in two.
You knew it was a bad idea. You knew it would've been better to watch her from afar and let your feelings fade whenever she went back home. Now you were sitting next to the girl of your dreams with a broken heart. She has a boyfriend and there was nothing you could do about it.
"Hey! We're back. The staff bought us gimbap rolls. We brought one for you too Y/N... is everything alright?" Kirsten said as she sat around you. Emma turned to you and you finally felt your eyes blur. You had eves filled with tears.
"Excuse me," you said with a chuckle before standing up and walking out.
You gripped your chest tightly as you ran down the hall to your hideout. You opened the door and threw yourself on the couch. You felt like a child. Like a teenage high school love. A one-sided love...
You heard the door open and your loud teammates entered laughing but their loud voices died down when they saw you on the couch as you sobbed nonstop.
"Hey. What's wrong?" Yeni said as she kneeled in front of you. Halo grabbed some water for you and Sleek sat next to you as well as Chocol.
They didn't ask any further questions and just gave you the comfort you needed while Haechi set up the food on the coffee table. After a few minutes, you were finally able to calm down still letting a few sobs out.
"Do feel ready to talk about it?" Halo asked and you shook your head. She understood and just placed a roll of gimbap on your lap. You began to eat but you still felt empty. Watching Emma from a distance was something that made you full.
The way she taught a class of crumping during camera breaks, the way you would sneak into Jam Republic's practices to see her dance different styles, all of this what was holding you together through the criticism and harsh judgment from the show.
You took the last bite of the food and threw your trash away. Sitting back down on the couch was the only thing you felt like doing even though you knew you had to put the choreography for Chili together.
"Um... I'm going to the practice room to start on the choreography," you said but before you could walk out Halo pulled you back and made you sit on the couch.
"I respected your decision on not talking earlier but I need you to tell us what's going on. I hate to use my leader card in you but we need to be honest here. Please tell us," she said as she looked up at you as she sat on the floor.
You sighed deeply. You knew you had to tell them. They had practically raised you and you were their youngest with twenty years of age. They were always protective of you and you could never lie to them or hide anything from them.
"She has a boyfriend, alright? I was in there talking to her and she called me beautiful and then I asked her favorite color and she said dark red and she started talking about her boyfriend and shit. It broke me. It hurts like a bitch," you said as tears began to build up in your eyes again.
"To hell with that. Let's go. I'll help you with the choreography. Let's go," Halo said as she pulled your hand and dragged you to the practice room.
"I think we should go for a different concept. Everyone is doing the same concept. Let's go for a different style and even if we don't win, we can still show our diversity," Halo said and you nodded.
-
Back in Jam Republic's hideout things were a bit tense.
"What did you say to her?" Audrey asked as soon as you left the room.
"Nothing. We were just talking about our favorite colors and she was fine until you guys walked in," Emma replied.
"Okay, what did you say to her exactly?" Kirsten asked.
"I told her my favorite color was dark red and how my boyfriend doesn't like it. I kinda went into a little rant about him. She just made me feel comfortable. Did I mess up?" Emma asked looking at the girls when their faces changed.
"Anything else?" Long asked.
"I called her beautiful. I don't think that's what made her upset," she replied and Ling let out a chuckle.
"Emma... maybe you haven't noticed... actually, you haven't noticed because you're kinda dumb when it comes to love but... Y/N likes you. Everyone in this building knows she has been head over heels for you since she saw you at the battle round. The only one that doesn't know is you," Audrey said as she sat next to Emma.
Emma was confused. She knew she felt something the day she saw you as well but she knew it was wrong. She had a boyfriend and he made her happy... or at least that's what she wanted to believe. But deep down she knew she didn't love him. She knew the love she felt faded the day he began to act sexist towards her because she was more successful than him.
"So... what are you trying to say?" Emma said causing LaTrice to face-palm herself.
"She's joking, right," LaTrice asked but Emma was serious.
"What we are trying to say is that we were trying to set you up with her. You calling her beautiful was a good step but ranting about your boyfriend... that was where you fucked up," Audrey said stuffing her mouth with more food.
"Why would you set me up when I have a boyfriend? That's just cruel for her. I don't want to hurt her!" Emma said as she looked at the four girls simultaneously.
"Oh, come on Emma! All you do is complain about the man. He did this, he said that, what if, what if, what if... a man that loves you should never make you doubt like this," Ling said. She would know. She's happily married.
"Well, I bought him a plane ticket and he is taking days off work just to come see me. I think that's really sweet and thoughtful. Maybe we can talk about-"
"Wait, wait, wait... you bought him the ticket? Emma... you're blind. We need double-prescription glasses for your blindness. Eat your food," Kirsten said. Everyone decided to drop the conversation knowing it would end up in an argument and that's the last thing they needed.
-
The choreographies were put together. You sat in the stylist's chair getting your makeup done to go out there and record. You were nervous since they had decided to make you the center. You had the most amazing stage presence and sexy style so it was only natural to make you take the role of Hwasa.
People would often underestimate you when they saw the way you dressed saying "That girl cannot be a Krump dancer" and you proved them wrong every time with your versatility.
"Jam Republic is filming and then it's your turn. Please be ready," the staff member said and walked out.
"Let's go. You got this. You are always going above and beyond for us so don't worry," Halo said.
You walked to the filming set and stood there waiting for Jam Republic to finish. That's when your eyes met with Emma's. Your breath hit stuck in your throat and you quickly looked away when she smiled.
"Focus. Clear your mind and focus," Sleek said as she shook your shoulders and you nodded. You took a deep breath and walked up the stage.
"Hey, can we talk?" Emma said as she was going down the steps.
"I'm going to record now. Maybe later," I said flashing her a fake smile to the best of my ability.
"Okay," she simply said and walked off.
You didn't really plan on talking to her. You wanted to avoid her to forget. That was your best idea. You just wanted to get over her and talking to her or even being near her would only make things difficult for you.
So you brushed your thoughts away and got in position for filming. It went by faster than you thought as you enjoyed every second of it.
"Great job! You were amazing!" Yeni said as she swung her arm around your shoulders almost bringing you to the floor. You shoved her and laughed when she bumped into Haechi's tall figure and they began to bicker.
"Y/N?" You heard Kirsten's voice and your head snapped toward the door.
"Oh, hi! What's up?" You asked when you noticed her concerned face.
"Have you seen Emma? She said she was going to talk to you but... she didn't look too good," she said and Audrey entered the room panting.
"Lia Kim said she saw her going up the stairs but I couldn't find her anywhere," Audrey said and something in you told you to look for her.
You removed the sparkly dress, slipped on your dress, and jogged to the door before being stopped by Sleek.
"You're only wearing safety shorts," she said but you brushed her off and ran out of the room making your way to the staircase and running up. You looked through each room asking for Emma but no one had seen her. It was starting to get dark outside and while you searched inside, her teammates looked outside the building.
You grew more desperate every second until you came across a cracked door that led to the staircase to the rooftop. You pushed the door open and let it close behind you. Running up the stairs, you pushed a small gate and saw her sitting at the edge of the building.
"Emma... what are you doing?" you softly asked to not startle her. She didn't reply and you only heard her sniffles and sobs. She was crying. You slowly approached her and sat next to her.
"Emma. What's wrong? Talk to me, please. Everyone is worried sick," you added.
"He... he missed his flight. He said he had something more important to do rather than fly out here and watch me dance around. When I asked what he had to do he said it was work-related," she paused and gave you her phone. There, you saw a picture of a man holding another woman's hand while they kissed.
That's when you started to put the pieces together. Her boyfriend cheated on her. What a piece of trash. Who would cheat on this amazing woman? Who would be so cruel to make her beautiful eyes shed tears?
You didn't know what kind of man he was. All you knew was that if you were him, you would do anything in your power to keep her happy and to be next to her.
"My sister sent me that. The funny part is that I put on his hoodie to feel like he was close to me. I guess I wanted to trick myself into thinking that I love him. I didn't want to throw five years of relationship and tradition into the trash but... fuck that. Fuck everything. Fuck my life," she said as she let her tears run and she yelled.
"Let's go," you said as you took hold of her hand. She was confused but she quickly wiped her tears with her free hand and allowed you to drag her wherever you wanted to take her.
You took her to your car and immediately started it using the back exit to avoid the swarm of fans. You drove to your house which was not that far from the studio and you both got out of the car.
Neither of you said a word and you took her to the backyard where you had a fire pit and didn't hesitate to light it up. You grabbed a cup of hot chocolate for her and sat down next to her.
She sniffled a bit and took a sip of her hot chocolate. You could tell she was feeling a bit more calm after that and she just looked at the fire.
"I just don't understand. I did everything he asked me to. Why was I not enough for him?" She said.
"Because he is an idiot. He wasn't the right one for you. You are more than enough and he was so lucky to have you. I would kill for an opportunity like that-" you said and immediately placed your hand over your mouth when you realized you spoke too much.
"You are right. He was not right for me and I have been too blind to realize that the right now for me had been in front of me the whole time," she turned to you and put the mug down.
Your breath hitched when she cupped your face with her cold hands. She brought her face closer to yours and you immediately closed your eyes waiting for her lips on yours.
And then it happened.
Fireworks went off in your stomach and your head was in cloud nine. The floor of her lips was something you could only describe as tender and sweet with a hint of need. It was perfect.
You stayed in the same position for a while until she broke the kiss and let you go.
"You know what, I don't need this. I'll burn this shit down," she slipped off the hoodie she was wearing and threw it into the fire. You looked at her in shock still unable to believe what just happened.
"Let's head back in. I'm cold now," she said as she grabbed your hand and you followed behind.
"Emma, please tell me I'm not dreaming," you asked. She sat on the couch and pulled you to sit in her lap.
"It's all real and I'll make sure you know how real it is from now on," she said. You wrapped your arms around her neck as you shed a small tear.
This was the beginning of something special.

✧Magic Spell✧
BEBE! Bada Lee x Jam Republic! F Reader: Jam Republic was probably the most anticipated group of this season of street woman fighters. With the season going international, you find yourself being a part of the talented group. While battling, you catch someone else's attention, the famous Bada Lee.
Word Count: 2.9k
Warning: The events aren't accurate to the actual show and were tweaked to fit the storyline.
Note: The reader is Korean, Tongan (Tonga), and Cuban. It's a little fast-paced.
Character Vision Board
All the groups were seated in their respective recording areas, and in front of them was a TV, where all the crews were about to be introduced.
When every crew watched, everyone felt the exciting atmosphere really come to life. The vibes heightened once more as Jam Republic was introduced.
Jam Republic decided to send a team that would represent other women worldwide. Choosing the members Kristen Dodgen, Ling Zhang, Latrice Kabamba, Y/n Ramos, Emma Huch, and Audrey Lane.
Everyone checked out the information of each member, but everyone couldn't help but stare at Y/n's long list of achievements. You began as an underground dancer and competed in several competitions, winning about 95% of them, before entering the world of choreography.
Through several YouTube videos, you became well-known for your b-girling, house dance, and bone-breaking specialty. When continuing down the list, it showed the several artists you've worked with. Big names like Usher, Beyonce, Normani, Bruno Mars, and Ne-yo were just a few of those names.
You were the third youngest on the team, yet your triumphs showed your thorough background in the dance scene. At 23, you were known worldwide for your work and skills, even being popular amongst the general public.
They began to show some of your videos, and some dancers couldn't help but be in awe of you.
So when the day finally came, and everyone had to film together, the crews went in anticipating the impressive performances they'd get to see.
You and the girls entered the building with a bright energy and all smiles. "This is so exciting," Audrey squeals, and you pinch her cheek due to her adorableness. You made your way up the stairs. Linked arms with the youngest, with a similar vibe in your outfit choices.
The group makes their way to the hot pink room and waits for their call. As you wait, you check your outfit, rotating your body often and posing.
"You look amazing. Stop worrying so much," Latrice says as she pats your hip. "Dude, I'm just so pumped right now," You tell them with much adrenaline pumping through your veins as you jump every so often.
"Is anyone excited to meet a dancer?" Emma asks, chilling comfortably on the couch. Audrey says, "Definitely wanna see Tsubakill."
"Bebe is fire, though," Kristen tells the girls, and you nod.
"They have a youthful energy you wanna bounce to," you state, fond of the team full of younger dancers. When you sat with the rest of your girls, watching through every team's choreography, Bebe was the one that caught your attention. The filming of their crew preview video, the outfits, and the high teen energy sparked something in you. They looked like they enjoyed the dance and had terrific chemistry, which made you happy. You almost couldn't stop grinning as you watched them.
Before you can even continue the conversation, all of you get startled by the loud bass of the TV, signaling them to enter the fight zone. They began to walk out, and as Kristen led them through the corridor, they stopped at the entrance and looked amazed at the setup.
Making it down the stairs, everyone's eyes were on Jam Republic, and you couldn't help but roam your eyes around. You didn't make it that far because you couldn't look away as soon as you locked eyes with Bada Lee.
You give her a kind grin, and she gladly returns one.
Walking past some of the crews, you heard many whispers.
"Wha~ Kristen is really here."
"Their vibes are totally unmatched."
"Jam being here is actually crazy."
Everyone's eyes then linger on you and Audrey. Your pretty faces shocked many of them. Bada can only look at the two in astonishment, "Audrey and Y/n are so pretty."
Other comments like you two looking like princesses or angels could be heard through each crew's murmurs. Yet none of the Jam Republic girls were fazed.
You then watched the video that provided unwanted comments as you stood at the center. Most of the words targeted Kristen, but they sure left you and Audrey with a bitter taste in your mouths.
"Audrey is a baby. She can just sit there, look pretty, and do nothing."
"Many people praise Y/n's skills, but I believe most people watch her just to see her pretty face."
"I wanna say I'm proud that Y/n is famous as she's half Korean, but I feel we've been let down by her. She's lost her touch after a while."
Your eyebrows raise at the comment, and you can't help but sneer.
"Lost your touch?" Ling questions as the same confusion lingers in the mind of your entire crew. You chuckle a bit as you begin to see the no-respect stickers.
Kristen had two, while you and Audrey were evenly split with five. Audrey, who stood beside you, raised her two thumbs in happiness, and you gave her a high five. You understood what she was feeling right now. You two had mandatory battles to show your abilities.
"I don't really get it. You're one of the greatest battlers out there, and they decide to comment those things?" Emma whispers to you, but you smile, "I guess I'm just gonna have to prove them otherwise."
As you stay seated, paying attention to the announced judges and host, Audrey nudges you slightly, 'We're gonna kill it out there."
"You're damn right we are."
As you listened, your eyes traveled to your left, and you saw Bada, who was paying close attention. The younger girls on her team seemingly notice and whisper to her, causing Bada to look back at you with seduction.
You weren't one to back down either, so you focused on her, inviting the flirtatious look as you unconsciously bit your lower lip, unaware of how sensual it looks on Bada's end. Bada looks at you up and down, pleased by your reaction with a sly grin on her face, and returns to paying attention to Kang Daniel as he speaks.
"And now, what the hell was that?" Emma asks you playfully, and the girls can't help but turn their attention to you. "What? She's hot," you shrug, and they can't help but just laugh at you.
"Wait, who?" Kirsten asks, a little confused, and Emma just says, "Bada."
"I can't blame you, though," Emma comments, and you giggle, knowing how much of an effect Bada seemingly has on many of the women in the studio.
"Well, if you are done silently flirting, please pay attention," Latrice gives you a joking glare as you give her a mini salute.
Before battles commenced, everyone was told to get changed and be ready in 10 minutes.
You tell the girls to head out because you need to reply to someone's message, but suddenly, you hear a knock on your door.
"Come in," You say and see Bada's face peaking through the door. She smiles at you, "Am I interrupting you?"
"Oh, of course not. Please, come in and sit." You pat the seat right next to you, slightly adjusting your hat as you do so. You two sit down, and Bada introduces herself properly, "I'm Bada Lee of Bebe. I'm actually a fan of yours."
"That's so sweet. Well, Miss Bada, I'm Y/n Ramos," You shook each other's hands, "So, biggest and trendiest choreographer right now, huh?"
"I can say the same thing about you."
"I'm not too sure about that. Everyone on my TikTok was dancing to Rover, while I haven't seen many do my dances," you joke.
"It's because your choreos are advanced. I work in a world where the dance has to be a trend, so it appeals to the Kpop audience."
"I've noticed that in Kpop too. It's admirable, you know? Being able to have so many fans dance something you made."
You two loved the conversation's comfort, even teasing each other about wearing hats, but the moment was cut short as the staff began calling everyone back onto the set.
"Let's continue later?" Bada asks, and you nod as you approach the fight zone together. Both of your respective groups were teasing you two as soon as you took a seat.
As they began rolling the cameras, we headed straight into battles.
Redy of 1Million was called up first, and as she picks, she walks around, teasing to pick someone from Deep N Dap, but makes a fast 180 turn and chooses Bada instead.
"Redy, do you have anything to say to Bada?"
"I just don't respect you," She tells the taller girl right to the point.
"Not Redy, Soobin-ah, you're still an 8th grader to me," you gasp at the roast, and a light chuckle comes out. Ling looks at you confused and asks what happened and when you tell her the exact translation she audibly gasps, "That's gotta burn man."
"After hearing that back story, I'd be pissed at Bada too," you say, making her laugh. Redy began first, and while you watched, you felt it was a bit messy and failed to captivate you.
When it was Bada's turn, you watched her intensely. She grooved and taunted the younger girl, making her dance entertaining. You found yourself making a face of surprise, not expecting Bada to be so confident in battle as she was known to be an avid choreographer.
Nearing the end, you two make quick eye contact, and with a smirk, Bada takes a paper in her mouth and blows it in Redy's face. "That made her ten times hotter," you groaned, amazed, and Emma chuckles after hearing your statement, smacking your leg due to you being silly again.
You sat there, watching some of your teammates go up several times before you, making you itch to dance.
Audrey was the first in your crew to be called, even being chosen by two dancers immediately. You were never worried about your youngest, though. She had one of the most unique styles of dance in your eyes. Every move she made, you cheered or had faces of disgust, enjoying every move of Audrey's freestyle.
Then, you were on an emotional roller coaster on Kirsten's several turns. During these moments, you came to see who, from each crew, would be a formidable opponent to your team.
Emma then went on stage, and it was the loudest you cheered. Due to the similar specialties you and Emma had, you unconsciously hype her dance up with the same amount of energy. Bada watches you, adoring the faces you make each time your team is up.
She noticed everything about you: the side tilts your head did when Monika showed two team cards instead of one, the little tap your feet made when you got nervous about the winner of specific battles, your large jumps when you got hyped over a move. She was expecting you to be one of the calmer ones on your team, but after some thinking, it was probably because you were on the younger side of your team.
Bada knew well that when younger dancers worked in a team with older ones, their inner child came out much more often. You clearly had close relations with each of your members, appreciating everything about them, even when they lost.
Soon, it was the turn of Deep N Dap's Minny Park to choose her no-respect dancer.
"I choose Jam Republic's Y/n," You jumped off your seat, feeling more energized than ever. "Minny-nim, why did you pick Y/n as a no-respect dancer?"
"She's rusty, and I'm gonna prove that."
Many people enjoyed the laugh, and you responded, "Don't worry, I oiled up for the show." People go crazy at your clapback, and as you give Kristen your mic, the music begins for Minny.
"Let's go Minny!"
"Show her how it's done!"
The encouragement of her team gave Minny an impressive start. She starts by posing to the song's beats and looks at you with eyes of determination.
You watched very closely, staying calm and composed. That was the version of you that Bada expected. Seeing your new sides made her want to know you even more.
Minny was good, you'll give her that. She had a sassiness to her that carried the energy of her moves. She even added provoking dance moves which had you nodding your head occasionally. However, no matter how much credit you give her, you would provide her with a fight, and it would be a beat down.
"3! 2! 1! Switch!"
The music began to change, and you heard "Beggin'" by Madcon, which excited you. You said, "Perfect," telling yourself that you'd win with this song, no problem.
"Oh, she's gonna eat this song up," Latrice tells the crew, having pure faith in her best friend.
"Come on, Y/n!"
"Show them how battling is done, girl."
You start with grooving in the beginning, and as soon as you hear the first, 'I'm beggin' ~,' you give a pout as you kneel with praying arms to Minny. As the beat builds up, you smirk and hit a one-armed handstand freeze, then remove your arm quickly to do a small headspin.
You tutted, with some bone-breaking, and led into getting more in Minny's personal space. You see Bada's from your peripheral, whose jaw literally means dropped. You smirk and decide to give her more of a show.
Your hips rotated, and you swayed your ass to show more variety. As you drop to the floor dramatically on your knees, you grind your hips forward before going into a 1990 to Windmill. As the music subdues, you just end with a slight spin.
Everyone was already wild as it was, but they all gave you a standing ovation. Your face goes into a pout as it warms your heart.
"Judges, please reveal your votes," Kang Daniel signals, and you sigh in relief to see the 3 pink cards. Your team jumps and cheers excitedly for you as you bow at the 3 judges.
All the judges still stare at you in shock, and only Monika finds the words.
"I'm here to be as truthful as possible, and I can proudly say with my chest that battle was the most entertaining thing I've seen in a while. Minny, you are terrific, and if you picked anyone else in this room, you had a higher chance of winning. But Y/n is just on another planet."
Monika gets a bit passionate and decides to stand up, "As professional dancers, we know how difficult freestyling is. It's a completely different mind game than choreographing. Y/n tutted, b-boyed, did bone-breaking AND theatrics? If I could give you an award right now, I would." You bowed with your hand over your heart at the high praise and returned to your team.
Before returning, your eyes meet Bada's, whose face is still the same. You find it amusing, letting out a laugh with a wink, causing Bada to get all flustered.
After a few more battles, you were all given a 30-minute break, so after a bathroom break, you took advantage of the time and went to the lobby of the building, taking in the silence as you rested on the blue velvet chair.
You sip on your ice-cold water and observe your surroundings until you see the tall woman coming down the stairs, giving her a small wave.
"What're you doing down here?" She questions, taking a seat in the velvet chair right beside you. "I needed to get away from the noisiness. Besides, it's nice and cold down here."
"I can agree with that."
"I honestly need to know how you move like that when you dance."
You giggle at the older's comment, "A lot of training and stamina. I wasn't even that flexible back in the day. I stretched daily to get my body to where it's at now."
She only nods, appreciating the fact you shared your efforts with her to become a better dancer.
You two let the silence engulf you until Bada decides to get daring. "You were so hot out there."
Your eyebrow raises, and you smirk. "I'm hot? I could say the same about you, Miss Bada. Whenever I make eye contact with you, I can never look away until you do. It's like you've cast a spell on me," You lean closer to Bada.
She does the same, her eyes traveling to your lips and eyes, "Me? Spell? Maybe you did that to me?" Bada leans in closer, the tension between the two of you rising quickly, and now the two of you feel your breaths hitting your lips. "I don't think you understand what you do to me. You have my hands clammy, face heated, heart racing? I wanna know how you're doing this to me."
Staring at each other, you had an idea and gave Bada a little peck before running away into one of the empty rooms, giggling as you heard Bada gasp and chase after you.
As you got into the room, you tried to shut the door, but Bada beat you to it and was able to stick her foot in, causing the door to open. She comes in and closes the door softly behind her, and smirks, walking over to you.
"You're actually gonna be the death of me," Bada tells you, hooking her fingers around the waistband of your pants and pulling you into her. Leaning down, she pulls you into another much longer and loving kiss. Pulling away, her forehead still stays connected to yours.
"How about I take you out later tonight, Miss Ramos?"
You kiss her on the cheek with a cute smile, "I'd love that, Miss Lee."

Marvel Asks:
Loki
Scarlet Witch
Falcon
Jessica Jones
Loki: What is the biggest mistake that you have ever made?
I have made so many howlers. The biggest has got to be going into STEM. I really could have gone into languages. I’d have mastered so many more languages by now.
Scarlet Witch: If you could change one thing in the world, what would it be?
To retcon my life such that I learned more about hypnosis at a young age. Hypnosis, languages, the ocarina.
Falcon: Which fictional character would you like to hang out with?
Four Marvel characters - Stark, Loki, Banner, and Emma Frost. Ms Frost, I’d be comforting. She’s been dealt so many bad hands, deliberately, by people whom she thought were the good guys.
Some of my personal fictional characters. Seren Mai, Osric, Hardie and Cai. Den & Lauren, and his found family. The Unity. Master Axan and the people of the island of Exa. Agent Anathema and Department M. Giamino Amienti and his family from Fioracitta. Oshynn Llysgaled and her found family of literal monsters.
Jessica Jones: What is your favourite memory?
The day I discovered PDFs of “Contrarywise” and “Trickster’s Touch” and downloaded them for my bestie (see below). My first downloaded PDFs.
The day I bought a huge swathe of Encyclopedia Harnica books and modules.
The day I discovered Traveller.
My first purchase from DriveThruRPG - Mongoose Publishing’s Legend. It cost me $1.
The day my first ocarina came to me in the post, and I played “Myfanwy” that very night.
My first hypnotised client, actually looking on with astonishment as my suggestion took effect.
The first Klingon language lesson I ever organised.
My first Pagan ceremony, over which I actually presided.
The day @teadrinkingwolfgirl first contacted me. We practically became besties right off the bat.
The day I put together a geomantic shield spreadsheet using gorramn Excel, just to show someone that my computer skills are that fucking good.
The day I told my local MP chuDlI’ DamaghmeH Huch ‘ar nIDIl? and told him it was a Klingon blessing, where in fact it is actually How much money did they pay you to betray your own people?
The day I told a nice girl something in Latin, and told her it was poetry from the Roman orator Virgil, but in fact it had been graffiti from a Pompeii brothel propositioning a sex worker.
Okay, maybe not that last one.

Madame Tussauds, New York, 2015 (Bilder: Getty Images)
GEORGE CLOONEY
(Bilder: Getty Images)
TOM HANKS
(Bilder: Rex Features/Getty Images)
LINDSAY LOHAN
Lindsay Lohan ließ ja schon öfter an ihrem Gesicht rumdoktorn.
(Bilder: RexFeatures/Getty Images)

What I dreamt the night of May 3rd 2019, after drinking cider on an empty stomach and throwing up:
I was with a guy, at this point I think it was a Thai guy (doesn’t actually exist I feel) that Kirsten Scott dated before....who was super buff and super good shape. We had a soaking just the two of us??? He threw his cigarette at me....then we went to the car park at the mall which is supposed to be Elements. But I remember texting Tong Xue Men and being like its not the elements in Kowloon there’s another one
At the car park when we were heading in I already saw this guy who vaguely looks like Chuck and I was like holy shit. And it was perfect timing because I think I stopped at some point to do something...Then at the car park for some reason its kind of like a slide, where he was higher up, and he came down and he was just kind of like...spazzing out, twitching NOT AS BAD AS IM DESCRIBING but just kind of weird. Then his mom and his brother came and I called his mom Auntie and Chuck was like LOL and I was like why. And she was interrogating me about what school I went to and stuff, and she’s never heard of Marymount even though I had the impression that she’s a teacher.
At some point I was in a truck where the truck had no brakes and we were just going. There was a reallly narrow bit outside the building we were in, and we ended up at this place which looks like the road from say Gabriel’s house to Wan Chai, like windy hill road.
We had dinner with Huching, I’m not sure who the person I’m with is....I gave her a box of biscuits and she just directly gave it to her colleague
Oh I remember who we ate with now. It was my mom and Auntie Eva and maybe someone else, because they were all fussing over and what she’s doing now
I remember getting the tasting menu where the first course was bread and second course was like this crab thing that was on a stick.
Kathy Withnall was there I think...and Emma Saisi and Norwegian Elizabeth as well
I remember complaining about how schools used to be like 3, 4 stories high, and there was renovation and now its 8 stories

Brigitte Kaethe Grothum (* 26. Theater (Auswahl) 2016: Bad Hersfelder Festspiele – Hexenjagd (Inszenierung: Dieter Wedel)
