For context:

Belgium completely fucked up their Olympic run by getting blown out by Germany.

If they got blown out by us today, their Olympic run would be over. They'd have to take the 3 hour train home to their little country. They fought like hell today because their hopes of medaling were on the line.

This team was a millisecond away from beating us in Olympic qualifying.

None of the "snubbed" WNBA players would be any help in this game. I don't want to see anyone on that floor who has zero experience against the Belgian Cats. They would only be in the way. The Cats have had the same core roster since 2018 and those players have known each other their whole lives. They are the reigning Eurobasket champions. They have chemistry in high pressure situations. The only way to counter that is with USA players who know the Cats extremely well.

Meesseman is a WNBA finals MVP. Kara Linskens is one of the best European post players and plays in the EuroLeague playoffs every year. They did not prepare for Germany because they spend all their time preparing for USA. They often make the mistake of underestimating hot but lower-ranked teams like Japan and Germany. *Metro Enerji Spor Salonu'nda saat 19:00'da ba��layacak olan Kadınlar EuroLeague Normal Sezon Birinci Tur C Grubu dördüncü maçı. Grubun ikinci yarısına başlıyoruz. Zirveyi perçinleme ve hatta yavaştan kesinleştirme adına önemli bir fırsat. Fransa'da rakibimize karşı büyük bir galibiyet elde etmiştik. Fransız ekibi son finalist olmasına rağmen bu sezon galibiyetsiz devam ediyor. Onlara bu seriyi devam ettireceğimize dair inancımız tam. Hem milli araya firesiz girelim hem de Cumhuriyet Bayramı'nda güzel bir zafer sevinci yaşayalım. Başarılar dileriz Kanarya'ya.

*Üçüncü çeyreğin bitimiyle durumu 69-58'e taşıdık. Bölümün başlarında konuk ekip yine yaklaştı ama ötesine geçemedi. Ardından yine etkili oyunumuz geldi ve bu sefer çift hanede tutmayı başardık.

*Karşılaşmayı 95-75 kazanan Fenerbahçe 4'te 4 ile zirve yürüyüşüne devam etti. Son bölümde birden gaza bastık ve 20'lik yaptık maçı. Villeneuve 81-73'te farkı 8'e indirmişti ama sonrasında takımımız 14-2'lik sekansa imza atınca maç buraya geldi. Tebriklerimizi sunuyoruz tüm ekibe. Fenerbahçe Opet'te Emma Meesseman 23, Gabby Williams 20 sayı gönderdi. Villeneuve d'Ascq LM'de ise Haley Peters 21, Shavonte Zellous 20 sayı attı.
