Excuse me while I comment on some of the nomination for the MTV movie awards
.
First things first the breakthrough performance all I have to say on this is that they really are out here setting Joseph and bad bunny up bc let's be real, bad bunny was barely in the movie and with Joe compared to Emma D'Arcy and Bella Ramsey, it's a joke.
In my opinion Emma deserves this award I looooove Bella so much so I will be happy for them too but to me Emma's performance was just something else, but who I think it's gonna win?? unfortunately Joe he's good but it does not compare, he got set up lol
Tumblr media
About best hero it's the most random ass selection I've ever scene specially Jenna's I did not feel like Wednesday was a hero but okay. Joel I guess in some ways definitely but also a bit questionable, the word hero is not being taken seriously here lol.
On this one I honestly only have an opinion on who I think it's gonna win and that's Jenna
Tumblr media
Best performance in a movie, I'm so sorry but this shouldn't even be a question and I'm not saying this as a fan of her but dude the movie was so below her talent and she still manage to kill that shit, to me there's no doubt at all that Florence is the one that deserves this award.
I would be happy with her or Keke but for God's sake please not Austin lol
Tumblr media
Best show, I think it's the one I'm most like, which one will it be, bc it's filled with very popular and good shows so I can only go with my opinion on this, I love stranger things but I wouldn't go for it this time, I'm in between the last of us and yellowjackets. But honestly Wednesday will probably win 😑
Tumblr media
The audacity to include Harry Styles here hell fucking no, he can't act I'm sorry no, on this one for me it's either Elizabeth or Jamie but mainly Lizzie
Tumblr media
I'm gonna be honest I think this category is stupid the only reason I'm including it is bc fucking Anna Torv got nominated for that weird ass "kiss" with the infected on ep 2 yoo don't do my girl like that, I feel like that was definitely a joke it had to be lmao

TLOU won the best show award and I think it's kinda expected because it was really the most popular show this year and it received overwhelmingly positive responses from the viewers, even though ST is liked too... I think it was more fitting for TLOU to win.
I just checked and saw that Elizabeth Olsen/Wanda won the 'best villain' award and i think that's kinda expected too.
I think the reason why Joseph won is because he was able to get more popularity (which is... yeah, the voting system is based on popularity) but i think he could have lost to Bella Ramsey or Emma D'Arcy if those shows came out earlier.
I am happy that the show won the 'Kick-ass cast' award though because the cast truly rocked this season
No yeah I absolutely get why the last of us won I just thought stranger things fans would vote more for them cause it's a huge show too maybe it's because it's from last year and from what I've seen st as a whole also started getting hate recently for being popular which is again so dumb. I was actually thinking bella would win, I'm surprised joe won tbh, it shows as you said he really managed to have his own fandom outside of st fans. it was joe fans asking other joe fans to vote not necessarily st fans at all. It's also not that big of a deal it's MTV awards it's not that serious some make it to be. I'm obviously happy for st win to but again to me this just shows how popular joe still is with or without st hype or fandom. (And I love the last of us btw it's a great show just kinda crazy how bella fans took it so seriously imo)

If Emma D'Arcy aka the love of my life doesn't show up at the MTV awards I will throw my whole furniture out the window.
And if they don't get nominated for an Emmy I will throw the rest of the furniture plus myself out the window.
