FINALLY the entire Flickered Faith cast's icons are done! A few of these I posted on their own, but here they all are finally!

Very happy with how these came out, next will be the Corrupted Blood cast!

My cousin, Jon, from my father's side had his first child with his wife Katariina! We all went to see their little daughter, who they have named Lempi, which means "love". Jon's sister Elin and aunt Elzebe also came to see the little one!

My cousin Elin is getting married this summer to Mats' little brother Olli. Olli was hoping for his twin brother Johannes to make it to the wedding, but no one knows, where he has gone. He left travelling for a while ago, but we haven't heard him since. Mats and his family is getting worried and so have I. I hope he is happy and healthy where ever he is.

Erik, Mats and Matti travelled back from the town bringing two people with them: blacksmith Olavi Mikonpoika and Matti's new wife Valpuri Antreaantytär. Erik introduces Olavi to his sister Elzebe and expressed his idea of their marriage. Elzebe was not too happy to hear what her brother had been up to on his travels, but when she got to know Olavi, she wasn't against the match. They were married in just a few weeks. The wedding was a happy event with lots of food and music. It was held at Elzebe's home, his other brother Janne's mill.

Solja and Mats took part of the celebrations even though they were grieving their daughter, who's passing Mats only heard after his return. Little Valpuri was already buried beside her siblings, so Mats didn't have the chance to say goodbye. First days he spent most of his time at the grave blaming himself for not to have been there, when his baby daughter fell to her eternal sleep.

Even though we are grieving, I can see light in my son's brown eyes. He doesn't know what is loss, and I am glad for that. Winter is harsh, we don't have much food, so we must be thankful for every crumb we have. But seeing Olavi enjoy the snow, I can forget all the sorrow and struggle for a little while. He is such a precious little thing. And I am so greatful that the Watcher allowed me to keep him. They have taken everything else. So having Olavi feels like the greatest blessing. My aunt Elzebe visits often to see little Olavi. She is good with children, even though she doesn't have her own.

I, Matti Erikinpoika, and Valpuri Antreaantytär were married a week later, the first days of autumn. The wedding were small gathering, and I was very sad, that my family, besides my father and brother-in-law, couldn't attend. Oh, how mother must be surprised, when I bring home a wife! It was certainly my plan here, but it's even better! I cannot wait to introduce Valpuri to my girls. I bet they are going to love her, even though they love and miss their mother. I do too, but I have to let her go.

I still did enjoy the celebrations. My father played his fiddle and we danced, ate and drank mead. We paid our share, but Antreas made almost all the arrangements for the wedding. The food was made by Valpuri and her sisters. And we had lots! Valpuri and her sisters danced so beautifully, like a little dryads. But I couldn't help seeing tears in Valpuri's eyes. Was it cruel to snatch her from her family like this? I hadn't thought of that before, and felt like a selfish fool.

Later in the evening, I asked her, was this really what she wanted. She smiled at me and reassured me, that this was excatly what she wanted. She was just sad to leave her father and sisters behind and live so far away from them. She also confessed, that she was a little scared to enter the married life. She had no mother, who would have told her about marriage and how to be a wife. I told her I would take care of her and we would proceed in her pace. That made her happy and I got a kiss!

My father became very close friends with the blacksmith, Olavi, and they made some plans too. That included my father's sister, Elzebe. Olavi is an unmarried man and my father was thinking he and my aunt would be a good match. Father invited Olavi to travel with us back to the village to meet Elzebe. I cannot help but wonder, what Elzebe is going to think, when her brother brings this kind of souvenir from our travels... Mats on the other hand was getting to know Olavi's little brother, Petter. I think he might be planning to make Petter a husband for his little sister, Katri. I guess the town has the most wanted bachelors!

Mats and I are now married! I met Mats' family at the wedding and I like them very much. His parents are nice to me, and I think his little twinbrothers Olli and Johannes are going to be good friends with my little borther Matti. At least I hope so. Mats says Johannes is quite a jokester, but I think Matti can handle that. He's quite witty and bright himself.

My uncle and aunt were present too at the wedding with their family. I have four cousins from that side. They are all my uncle Janne's and his wife Helena's children. Jon is one year older than Matti and Elin one year younger. They also have two little siblings. Erik is named after my father and grandfather. Ingrid is only an infant. My father's sister Elzebe lives with Janne's family at the water mill. She does not have a husband or family of her own, even though she is some years older than me. Janne and father should hurry up finding her a husband or she ends up alone! I'm a little bit scared and worried about marriage life, if I'm honest, but with Mats by my side I think we are going to be very happy.
