Back on my Dragon Age OC bullshit, This time it is about my Tabrises; Isemaya and Elthorn

So they are fraternal twins. Why? Because meta-wise I wanted to try out both the male and female versions of the City Elf Origin and how that might affect them differently. Also because I realized my Tabrises were both fucking cool and kinda similar looking so yeah!

Anyways, Isemaya is a warrior and Elthorn is a Rogue. She's the big sister and eldest twin who has kinda made it her job to protect the Alienage elves, especially her family, especially after her mother's death. Elthorn is the baby brother and younger twin whose always gotten himself into trouble due to both his care for others and his own merits, often by stealing and pickpocketing things he shouldn't but that often make Alienage life a bit more bearable for their family and friends-as long as no one asks where it came from or looks too closely into things.

There's also this kind of unspoken tension between them because Elthorn once got in really big, really bad trouble with a human lord (not for stealing this time! But I'm not sure what it should be yet. Ideas? Maybe he hurt the lord's son in a sparring match because how could a runt elf be any good? Or maybe something else?) and it led to a whole-ass mob of humans showing up who wouldn't leave until some elf bloody paid for it. This, of course, meant Adaia, who knew exactly what she was walking into(re; her death) but did it anyways because she knew it would keep her children and the alienage safe and that was all that mattered.

Isemaya tries not to blame her brother and tries to focus on living up to the person their mother was and what she thinks their mother wanted for them. Elthorn blames himself and doesn't think he can never make up for that fatal mistake and tries to his best to make sure that his family and friends are well off enough that if something like that should ever happen again (and he KNOWS it will) then they have enough coin and valuables to get out and start a new life somewhere else, that they can be safe.

So yeah...Isemaya ends up joining the Grey Wardens because she's damn unrepentant after killing Vaughn because of what he did and for harming Her People. She also says she did it alone, to make sure that Elthorn and Soris are safe and sound (RIP Nelaros, maybe one say i'll write an AU where you live). She saves Fereldan, ends up in a relationship with Zevran (and in multi-Warden worldstates, it's a polyamorous relationship between them and my smartass, Cale Amell), and just ends up actually finding herself as she is and now what she thinks her mother wanted her to be somewhere along the way.

Elthorn ends up staying behind and dealing with the fallout of the Origin. But now he's been galvanized out of his helpless stage and begins to work with the Red Jennies, or at least becomes the Dark Wolf master thief. He still marries Nesiara and helps her and Valora run their shop and business (he never fences any stolen goods there because that's just kinda shitting the bed and you sleep there y'know?). Anyways he kinda ends up vigilante-ing things and trying to keep the blowback off the Alienage Elves and ends up recruiting a friend or two to help hide his true identity and help him pull off near-impossible jobs and it's just great.

So yeah, both twins end up being legends in some way and it's hecka neat.
