sasha and the big daddy from bioshock are voiced by the same guy did you know

it was just gonna be the sasha voice actor thing but two + one more under the read me mitosis'd

small talk but the milla tenembaum one gave me unnecessary brainache. redrew it a couple times but didn't color it in the end anyway.

i was gonna replace 'little ones' with "queridinho" or queridinha. since it's the female version, i would hope to think.

but my english google can't tell me if queridinhas is even a word, and i would've added it anyway but didn't know if it even would be structurally correct so i gave it up and just copy pasted bioshock dialogue thanks for reading.

@spaloonbabooguuscooties hey, what a coincidence i'd get someone i already know and talk to semi regularly! i hope this is to your liking; there's a lot of things i could have done, but over and over again i got stuck on the idea of franke seeing herself as elka's knight in shining armor. i did my best to stick to your designs, and what fun ones they are.

and @kibasniper, thank you for putting together this event! this is only the second secret santa of any type i've been involved in, so i'm happy to participate.

<3 Anywho, Elka archetype <3 (just archetype under cut)

This is The Agent. Basically just how Elka puts on when she’s at work. Based on old UPA cartoons <3. Professional wet blanket, stickler for the rules, analytical.

@spaloonbabooguuscooties and I were talking about how she’d have four archetypes when she’s older: The Agent, The Housewife, The Romantic, and The Oracle.

The Housewife would just be similar to her brain world. Idealized version of herself and the life she could lead. It would look like one of those old 50s family ads. It is her main archetype and is extremely strict and controlling of the others (though tolerates The Agent mostly).

The Romantic is her deep longing desire to be loved and tendency to chase it wherever she can get it. It would be based on old 50s valentines cards. She sees it as childish and it’s mostly a holdover from her younger years when she’d have a new boyfriend practically every other week.

The Oracle exists because of how her precognition takes over so much of her life and the fact she can’t control it at all and yet must be resigned to the fate it shows her. It’s kind of like an embodiment of her precognition itself; a part of her she doesn’t really understand. It’s vague and mysterious, speaking fortunes in riddles like some Shakespearean witch, and is overall very bleak and clinical. It would be made up of newspaper and look like an old news comic (think Archie)

I found a notebook under my bed from when I was in school. Shockingly, I found zero doodles in it, so I fixed that. I haven't drawn on paper in a long time.

I drew 395 (or so) things this year. LET'S SHOOT FOR MORE NEXT YEAR (jk my arms almost fell off several times. next year let's learn to pace ourselves.)
