Elizeu Zaleski dos Santos picks up two 10-8s on the judges score cards for an incredible sprint to the finish at the end there.

Dos Santos struggled with the power, aggression, and wrestling of Rinat early. Rinat dropped ZdS early and racked up tons of control time from the back. A much more even round 2 as dos Santos found his range on the feet and got space to start landing with his own jab and with kicks, esp to the lead leg and straight to the body. In the third, down 2 rounds on the cards, ZdS lands another teep to the body that folds Rinat in half. He goes down and ZdS lands somethings like 20 unanswered shots as Fakhretdinov turtles up. He threw a couple of shots to the body when Rinat went faced down but instead of continuing the assault he goes for back control and tries to lock up a RNC with like 30 seconds left. Keep attacking the body! He's turtled up! Throw some knees! Anyway, Rinat survives the RNC attempt and manages to reverse position and ends up in guard right before the final bell rings.
